A couple of months passed and within the hospital a rumor grew. Not just the staff within it, the patients who spent their nights in the hospital also felt the rumor. They say that at night, when the time struck 3, a girl would appear. The girl would walk through the hallways, as if she was searching for something. She would talk, she would laugh, she would even cry. That type of rumor floated around the hospital.

An old doctor heard about it and he began to turn curious. Ghost stories in hospitals aren’t all that new, but this was the first time he had heard a rumor inside the hospital he was working on. What’s more, when the ones who witnessed the ghost were asked about the characteristics the ghost possessed, he quickly knew who it was. The doctor went towards a room, there the girl with white eyes stayed. He asked her if she knew about the rumor, and she answered yes. But when she was asked if it was her, she answered no. What’s more, the doctor asked if she had witnessed it herself, and there the girl was surprised.

“Oh, I forgot to mention it. She sometimes helps me when I go to the bathroom at night. Since she was glowing, the black hallways always brighten up.”

The doctor was speechless on what the girl said. Wanting to know what she meant, the doctor asked if he could meet him. The girl gave a nod and answered that he could. She also said she only comes at night since she was scared.

That night, the doctor didn’t go home. He called his wife that he’ll be staying overnight and he asked his boss that he would spending the night in the hospital. Both parties agreed to his plan and he began to turn excited. It was the first time the girl said someone was glowing. If he could meet such person, he would be glad. The doctor then continued towards the girl’s room. He asked more about the friend the girl had and the girl gladly told him. The girl had short hair but long bangs, she was wearing a hospital gowns for patients, she was also apparently very sick. The doctor tried to imagine what the girl looked and couldn’t help but feel familiar. He asked the girl for her name, but the girl didn’t answer. The girl said that she didn’t know her name and that she didn’t know why. As the talk continued, the doctor felt a chill. He closed the windows and lessened the air conditioning, but it was still chilly. What’s more, he felt as if the chill was getting more and more colder.

“Oh, she’s here.”

The doctor looked at the girl and her white eyes. He didn’t hear footsteps and he certainly didn’t hear the door open. As he slowly looked behind him, there he saw. He saw the door, nothing more, nothing less. The doctor grew more weirded out, he asked the girl if she was joking, but the girl refused. Instead, the girl jumped out of her bed and placed herself near a drawer.

“Umm… the doctor wanted to meet you. His name is –”

The girl began to introduce the doctor. As if she was talking to someone, the girl with white eyes faced empty air before the doctor. The doctor could not believe at what he was seeing. The girl continued to have a conversation with something he couldn’t see. In all his years of studying, this was the first that he had seen such event.

A few moments later, the girl said that she and her friend were going to walk for a bit outside. Wanting to know more about the scenario, the doctor asked if he could follow them, which the girl gladly accepted. They began walking through the dark hallways. As they continued onwards, the doctor noticed a few certain phenomena happening around him. Lights would flicker, the air would turn cold, the atmosphere would feel a bit heavy, those were signs that he would mostly see while watching horror movies. The doctor knew right there that he was scared, but as he looked at the girl smiling and talking to a person he couldn’t see, he felt his dignity would break if he admitted it.

After a while, they stopped. The girl waved her hand and she looked at the doctor. When she was asked why they’d stopped, the girl replied that her friend was going somewhere. She also said that she wanted to leave a message to the kind doctor that guarded them during the night. The doctor asked again, this time he asked about the message. There the girl replied a number. The girl also spoke that she didn’t know what the number meant. Having a clue on what it meant, the doctor asked the girl that she should go back to her room. The doctor leads her to her room and bid his farewells. He walked back towards a counter where a computer could be found. He asked if he could use it and the nurse stationed there answered. He opened up the hospital’s files and looked at the latest deaths within the hospital. There his eyes widened as he saw the number. It was the number of a room, where a young girl had died. It looked like she had a certain lethal disease which caused her her death. The next day, the doctor found out that it was her funeral. He didn’t tell the girl, but the doctor went to it and paid his respects.
