Hurt like never before, I get carried to the infirmary room by Akane and Louise. Mentally, I was kind of a wimp. I didn't have the courage to do anything. But I wasn't about to let Junpei off the hook after what he did to me. Among the few things I remember about my parents, I remember that my dad was a firm believer in "an eye for an eye". Basically, that if someone hurts you, you should strike back. Maybe that's how he died, but I've been told that they died in a fire. Quite a brutal way to go. My anger towards Junpei is through the roof, I can't forgive him for what he's done to me this year. What drives a person to do things like that? After finishing my monologue, we arrive at the infirmary.

"Are you okay Simon!? Don't die on me!" Akane says in worry. I smile a bit and say

"I'm fine, a little bloodloss won't kill anybody."

Louise has some conflicting feelings about this boy. At first, she hated him for being so rude to her flawless self. But after witnessing the events on the rooftop and his words, there was an unknown feeling welling up inside of her.

Earlier, She wanted to go see Simon again to prove to him that she is worthy of his attention, she had then went to Akane to ask where he usually is. Then the two of them went up to the rooftop and witnessed the bullying.

"Did you get beat up again, Simon!?" A nurse says to us when we walk inside.

"Ah, hello Mrs. Azuki" I say with a smile. Azuki is one of the most popular people in the school, and she isn't even a student here. Most male students are crazy about her because of her thighs. Of course, her long black hair, greenish eyes and the rest of her body are also really attractive. Everyone helps me onto the bed, Azuki sits down on the bed and asks me

"So, who's the one who beat you up?"

I say

"I'm not a snitch."

Azuki sighs and mumbles "he always says this" to herself. She then turns to Louise and Akane and asks them

"Well, do you know who did it?"

Louise thinks for a couple seconds and then responds

"I couldn't see their faces. But judging by their length, they must be third-years."

Azuki makes a troubled face and says

"I see. That's the first time I've gotten any information about them. Because this stubborn guy won't say anything."

"Really?" Akane quickly gets out of her. I butt in and say

"Well think about it, if I don't say anything and beat the guy up all by myself. My revenge will feel even sweeter!"

Everyone's jaws drop a bit.

"What about the things you said on the rooftop?" Akane asks desperately. I respond with

"Those things are still true, but I still feel like the revenge will be sweeter this way."

Silence falls upon everyone for a short time. Louis is the one who breaks it by starting to laugh. The others join in after a short time of listening to Louis laughing like a crazy person. I stare at them, confused, and say

"Why're you laughing? I'm completely serious."

Louise responds with

"Really? You think your revenge will get better just because you decide to shut up?"

A bit upset, I respond

"Shut up, you don't know how I feel."

That just causes them to laugh more.

Azuki told me that I needed to stay there for the rest of the school day before I could leave. While lying in bed, I started thinking about my ability.

The power to stop time is an interesting one. Stopping time will allow you to do almost anything you want to. But it's also a lonely ability, You're completely alone in a world of frozen faces. I started thinking about the fight. Why didn't it activate at that time? By my conclusion, it should activate when I'm close to danger. I contemplated about it for a while but couldn't come to a conclusion. I decided to drop it and fell asleep.

"Simon, Simon! Wake up!" Louise says and tries to wake me up. I roll to the other side of the bed and half-awake say

"Mom?" While reaching my hand forward. My hand lands on Louise's right boob, and she instantly gets flustered.

"What're you doing!?" Louise yells and hits me right in the head. The hit causes me to wake up in an instant.

"what? What is happening?" I shout in confusion. I look up and see a pouty Louise in front of me. I shrug and stand up to walk out of the small infirmary room.

"Bye, Azuki. See you!" I say

"Don't get beat up again!" Azuki says before I get out of the room. While I was thinking about the fight in the bed earlier, I got a brilliant idea. I run through the hallway and down the stairs until I get to the bottom floor.

"What're we doing?" Akane asks shyly.

"You'll see." I say with a bright smile.

"Junpei!" I yell out into the hallway. Junpei stops up and turns around. He walks up to me in a menacing way. Inside my head I think "GoGoGoGoGo", I almost burst out in laughter after my hilarious thinking. Both Akane and Louise stare at me trying to hold in my laughter. Junpei stops a couple of meters in front of me and says

"What do you want?"

With confidence, I walk up to him and say

"I challenge you to a duel!"

Junpei gazes at me, but then starts to chuckle.

"Me and you duel? Hahaha, that's impossible. You wouldn't stand a chance."

Akane looks at me in worry, worry that maybe I'll get beat up again.

"Don't do tha--" Louise says before I pull up my hand to stop her. I then say

"If you're that confident about it, why don't we put it to the test?"

Junpei is a really easy guy to piss off. He responds with

"Fine, I'll beat you up. Next week on Wednesday, meet me on the rooftop after school."

I laugh internally. I say

"Yeah, let's do it."

"How do you plan to win?" Akane asks me.

"Yeah, I'm also curious about that." Louise says. I pull a know-it-all face and say

"No idea."

"Are you kidding me!? How irresponsible can you be!?" Louis yells at me.

"It's fine, I'll make it somehow." I say.

Akane tugs my shirt and says

"Will you really be fine?"

I respond with

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I don't know why you care so much, if I fail it's me who gets beat up, not you."

Louise sighs deeply and responds

"It can't be helped then. I can hook you up with a martial arts trainer."

I get a glare in my eye and say in excitement

"Really?"

Regretfully, Louise says "Yeah"

I stand in front of the gym that Louise guided me to, and it's really big. After dressing up in the dressing room I run into the big gymnasium. In there I see a girl around my age, sitting on a bench. She has red hair tied up in a bun, light skin and formal clothes on. I run up to her and ask

"Excuse me? Do you know where the teacher is?"

She turns around and says

"Oh, it's you! I'm the teacher at this place."

My jaw drops a bit before I say

"No way! You're around my age, aren't you?"

"Yes, I'm a second-year in high school. I think we're in the same school too. Well, let's get started then, shall we?"

I throw the feeling of surprise away and start focusing.

"Okay, so the first thing you'll want to do is...." She starts teaching me different techniques. A while into the training, she leaves me to train by myself.

What an interesting fellow. The girl thinks to herself. The way he throws his punches, he must be really mad at something.

After a sweaty workout, I wipe my forehead to get rid of the sweat. I drink some water and then proceed to leave the place.

"Yo, can I come home with you?" The girl asks me.

"No, why would you?" I ask with a confused face.

"I just thought you were an interesting fellow." The girl says

"Okay..." I say and walk out.

In front of my house, I and The girl are standing. I look at her with regret.

"I don't even know your name!" I say

"Oh, it's Yuki. What's yours?" She asks

"It's Simon" I say in a defeated manner. This girl was a bit too much to handle.

We walk through the door, and instantly someone looks at us with a weird face. To avoid conflict we walk up the stairs instantly. Mom whispers to Elin

"When did Simon get a girlfriend?"

I instantly respond

"She's not my girlfriend!"

Yuki just laughs a bit. While in my room, I sit at my computer and write on my web-novel. Yuki stares at the screen in admiration, she then asks

"Wait a minute, are you Kentarou Mizuya!?"

"What!? You know of me!?" I say

"Of course, everybody does. Your stuff is very good, I'm a big fan!" She says with a big smile. It felt pretty good, having somebody praise my work. We spend the night discussing different things about my manga and web-novel and manga in general. After a while, I ask

"Shouldn't you go home soon?"

She pauses a bit before saying

"No way, Now when I know you're Kentarou, I'm going to sleep here."

"You can't do that! Mom will really think you're my girlfriend in that case." I say. Yuki just smiles and says

"I don't really care about that."

That night, I was stuck sleeping in a futon on the ground. Meanwhile, Yuki got to sleep in my bed. Yuki is a person who gets what they want no matter what, a bad matchup for me. Yuki falls asleep on my bed with one thought on her mind:
