“How terrible…”
She ran to this place as fast as she could. But then decided that flying would be more efficient by activating “Special Tier: Wind Magic: Float” and “Presence Detection”. She could overview the area from above with more accuracy. Besides, it is way more comfortable for her who hasn’t gotten used to this body.
Looking down from above, the girl gave a heavy sigh. Before her was a sight that would never have been seen in the modern world: A car on a trail surrounded by a forest. There were four people around the car, three of whom looked like warriors and the other was a small girl about 12 years old from a 21st century point of view. There were also many corpses scattered on the roadside, one of them seemed to be alive and kicking well.
As she shifted her view, the girl saw many men in dark outfits. Four of them on the backside were dead, three in front wore robes and seemed to be mages. She instinctively acknowledged that these people displayed an unusual killing intent. She brainstormed a bit and confirmed that the wolves were also on the side of the dark cloaks.
She saved the petite girl with her sword’s special ability: “Dimensional Slash”. This allowed the player to cut anything in sight within 500m a radius. An extremely powerful with the only drawbacks was the huge stamina and mana usage. Its stats also on the rank of ‘above average’. That is why many players are reluctant to use this weapon. “Tengu’s Breath” rarely sees the light, besides some boss raid events require the players to take down some airborne nuisances.
Leaving one struggling with a female warrior. His big body might be a little hard for her to counter, so they both just locked swords together. The full-armored guy was also rescued by her sword’s slashes.
(Well, I did contribute to that… But…)
Although she just killed a human being. Nothing in her has changed, emotionally, to be correct. There was no feeling of disgust, worry, sympathy or guilt. The girl maintained a perfect poker face.
(That’s weird. How come I don’t feel anything?)
As a modern person. The idea of murdering someone is an atrocious act. The value had been taught and It is rooted deep inside her mind. Maybe the effect takes time to sink in? She has no way to know.
Decided to leave that problem aside for another time. The girl descended before the people who were staring at her so intensely that she started to feel uncomfortable. By her presence, she stopped the whole battle thingy which made her somewhat proud.
“Wh... What are you? Are you human???”
“Impossible! No human can do that kind of thing!”
“That girl was floating! I have heard of divine magic able do that! The God’s Blessing!”
“What did you say?? Then how are we able to stop her now?!?”
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“Eh?” The girl was a little shocked by the mage’s words. Floating spell although its name suggests “Special”, it is “fairly” easy to obtain in the game world. After mastering all the tier three magic, you can start accepting a special quest from an old sage NPC located at the highest peak, then all you must do was jumping one thousand times off a cliff behind him. The thing is, that jump was high enough to kill everyone and each time you die, you respawn at the nearest town which is about 500m away, then climb all the way back. The girl know it sounds stupid; the developers knew it too. Many players complained about this ridiculous condition. Some were amused and took on the challenge. Others said “Fuck that” and returned to using mounts. Our main character was the hardcore ones.
And now she comes to realize that all her actions up until now were not considered normal at all. It should be classified as "Divine interviention.
Facing the confused audiences, except for the little girl in white robe, she seemed to be fascinated. Our main character has to think of something quick!
(What... What should I say?? I never thought it would turn out like this. This world is supposed to have adventurers, right? Okay, maybe play innocent? That might work…)
“My name is Erika. I’m… just a NORMAL traveler who happened to pass by!!! Nice to meet you~” said Erika with a smug face and a cute pose at the end “Ehe!”

“”” No way that is normal!!! ””” everyone exclaimed.
(Thought so…)
After introducing herself “normally”, Erika shifted her attention to the little girl whose was kneeling on the ground in blood and nearly fainted. A frown appeared on her face.
(Since it has come to this, better put up some acting eh?)
Our main character decided to mess around.
“What is thy name?” Erika said, imitating a serious tone.
The little girl startled. Apparently, she did not expect to be called. After a moment, she stammered in reply
“M… my name is… is Aria!... Ma'am...”
“So thy nameth is Aria. What a pretty name, it means melody”
(Poor girl, it must have been painful. Whoever did this I shall make him pay!! Oh wait… he’s dead)
Erika has always had a soft spot for little girl. Especially between 6 and 13. Not that she’s a lolicon or something, that would earned her some good amount of time in jail. Since Erika came from a family of five, her dad, her mom and two older brothers. She experienced some intense sibling’s love from both of them, so naturally she would love to have a sister for herself as well, a cute and energetic one, goes around saying “I love you big sis!”. If that were to be true, Erika would do everything for her lil’ sis. Onwards to the path of a true siscon.
“Do thee need our help?” Erika asked calmly.
Aria slowly nodded. Erika tried her hardest not to smile and cast a healing spell suitable for the lil’ girl. A magic circle with complex formations instantly appeared below Aria and inside the carriage, wrapping her in light, glittering like million stars at night… But then-
“I won’t let you! Dieeee!!!”
The “big guy with a dark cloak” jumped at Erika, intendeing to prevent her from healing the young Aria. Despite having a bulky body, he is surprisingly fast. If it were any normal fighter, that would put them off-guard a bit.
But not fast enough by Erika’s standards
(Too slow!)
Erika raised her sword to parry his, their swords clashed and create some sparks. With a quick motion, she yeeted his sword into the sky. The flabbergasted assassin looks up. Unbeknownst to him, Erika’s sword slashed his head off at the same time.
At that time, the fully healed Aria looked at her with admiration.
Everyone, including the princess, was astonished. Except the three mages, their face cumbled at the sight.
“Lady Goddess… so cool…” (Aria)
“What in the oblivion was that speed?“ (Melissa)
“... Strong…” (Ralph)
Apparently, Erika heard something absurd just now, but decided to pay it no mind.
“Now then, what should I do next?” Erika said CALMLY
