"Welcome to the tavern almost every village will have one and they're all pretty different" Ash said walking into the big building, "here you will find different things, like information from intel brokers, drinks, food, oh and over here is the quest board, each quest depending on the difficulty will give you more gems, that is the currency of this world it's also a good way to earn xp." Yor was surprised by all the quests on the board that haven't been picked up. "Hey what's this up here?" Yoriko pointed to a symbol on the top left corner of a quest paper that had a sword symbol.

"Oh that, well remember in the beginning of the game It explained what each warrior specializes in?" Yor thought back to when he first logged in. "Yeah I remember. The sword means agility right?" Ash smiled in approval, "correct. If you take a sword mission your agility stat will improve along with your xp, if you want any other skills improved you can look for the symbols that matches the skill, you should start off with level 2 for your agility, you get two points every time you level up in your specialty the rest will give you one."

Yor was starting to understand how this world worked.

"I get it now, oh we should do a quest right now" yor looked at Ash with excitement.

"Wow Yor, for someone who's not into video games you sure are pretty excited about this" Ash teased, "but anyways for someone of your level let's start out with, oh how about this one?"

"Yep, this one asks for us to defeat 3 boars in the red hills and bring back one of their tusks, it's not that far away so it should be good, come on let's go" Ash folded the paper and walked out of the tavern with Yor following behind her.

"See over there, that's where the town gate is, just on the other side should be the red sand hills where the boars spawn" Yor walked up to the gate feeling nervous about his first fight and wondering what he was gonna do.

"You should already have a sword in your inventory, it's not that powerful but it should be good for beating the low level mobs' ' Ash said as Yor pulled up his menus and equipped his regular sword.

As soon as they were ready they headed out of the town into the desert hoping to find what they came looking for, but all they could find were mounds of red sand and dust clouds that covered the sky.

"It's a little hard to see but we should be able to seek out those wild boars" Ash and Yor kept looking around to see if they could spot anything, Yor was beginning to forget about how nervous he was when all of a sudden he spotted a few boars in the distance.

"Hey Ash look over there i think i see some" Yor pointed to where he had seen them, excitement began taking over he knew he was ready for this.

"Great find, come on lets go" Ash and Yor began running towards the herd to slay all three of them down with their weapons.

"All right Yor I'll fire first, as soon as I do just go to town with them and start swinging that sword of yours' ' Ash said pulling out a pistol she kept strapped on her belt ready to fire, before he could reply he heard a gunshot and a yell from one of the boars and he started charging for it.

Holding his sword in one hand holding it like he was attacking with a knife he swung his sword slashing the boar in half and stabbing it one last time, he could see its health bar decreasing as he kept swinging, a few more gunshots kept firing at another boar and killing it before it could react.

"Wow great job Ash, you're good with that thing" Yor yelled back at the gun user.

"Yor! Watch out, behind you!" Yor didn't see what was going on all he could feel was his body being hit hard by something big, and only thing he could hear was a big bang in the distance as he saw the big beast that hit him disintegrate.

"yor! Are you okay?" Ash rushed to his side looking at his wound, "here, drink this" Ash pulled out a small jar of red liquid, opening it up and putting it up to Yor's mouth.

"What was that?" Yor said, beginning to feel better. "That was medicine, it's different then the stuff in the real world but it still works. Look, I can see you regaining your health." Ash was right; he could see his yellow health bar increasing to green. That wasn't it he could see his xp bar going up all the way as he hit level two, he saw his health points go up along with his attack skill and his agility skill went up two points giving him four in total.

"Way to go Yor you slain your first mob and leveled up. Oh we should probably head into town, i got a tusk from the boar who did a number on you, so now we should probably turn this mission in. Ash helped Yor up and together they started walking back to the city of red sand.
