“Graaawrrr!!! Grawwrr!!”
Right now, I am practicing my dragon roar to make it more believable that I am a fearsome dragon. For some reason, the [Elder Dragon Form] turned into a toggled skill instead of a duration-limited skill. It requires MP when toggling to a dragon and back to my original form.
Also, when I transformed into a dragon, I was able to take a few glances at my body. I had white, lustrous scales, and when it bumped against a tree, it caused it to fall over. Just how hard are the scales?
After practicing for a few hours, I was able to freely control my dragon body. It would have taken more if not for the [Reincarnated Person]’s title effect.
Now that I am able freely use my dragon body, I reverted back to my original human form with a lizard tail in my birthday suit.
Creating items [T-shirt, Hooded Jacket, Jeans with a hole for a tail, Socks, Hiking Shoes, Brief with a hole for a tail]…
MP Cost 208…
The MP cost was reduced by 2 from earlier when I used [Creation] for creating my clothes, maybe because there were less cloth than earlier. But right now, I am feeling nauseous. These must be an after-effect from consuming MP right to the point of depletion. Unlike earlier, where I used up all of my MP, I had a remaining MP of 2, just enough for me not to faint, but enough for me to feel dizzy and feel a sharp pain in my head.
I laid my tired body on the bark of the tree where I bashed with my tail earlier. Thanks to the bash I made, the bark had something like a comfortable spot, making it a good resting place. With my [Self-regeneration] skill, it won’t take long for me to recover my MP to the point where I can walk without any difficulties.
…
20 minutes passed when I rested underneath a tree, my MP recovered to about ¼ of the max value, about 50. When I got up, I felt no abnormalities, thus making me able to walk properly without stumbling.
I started walking towards the dirt path I found earlier, but it has been a few hours, and I still saw nothing when I was out here. Maybe because they found my dragon body to terrifying, making it hard to cross the path. Even some of the monsters where scared to the point of not coming out from their hiding places.
I need to limit this [Elder Dragon Form] skill. This has way too much impact on the inhabitants of this world.
I walked on t he path, checking all around to see if there are any monsters laying in ambush. There were old footprints here. One from a monster, and the others were boots, these footprints must be a day old.
I walked in the direction where the footprints headed before stumbling across a monster. It walked on two legs, had green skin and a small horn on its forehead. It stood about 1.45 meters tall and is holding a club. It was a monster often seen as the first monsters in RPG’s, the goblins. There were others goblins with him, except for the fact that some of them used different weapons.
One held a short sword, another, a rusty hatchet, and another one held a stick. They numbered 8 in total. When they saw me, they quickly bared their fangs and sprang into action. One holding a short sword went straight at me, and I quickly readied my weapon--- or not. I forgot that I had not brought a weapon, not even a stick!
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
The goblin slashed at me with the sword and tore through my skin, causing blood to seep out. The wound slowly closed, but before it could, another goblin clubbed at me with its stick, making a bruise at my upper shoulder.
It hurts, but not as much as when the Demon Generals Korke and Veda attacked me. I raised my hands in the air and made a fighting stance to fight the goblins. I am outnumbered, but they are weak, and thanks to my skills, I can survive even if they all come at me at the same time, as long as they don’t aim at my head or heart.
Two goblins came rushing at me, both of them wielding sticks. One goblin jumped up while the other went straight at me. These are smart goblins.
If one of them kept me busy, the other one can land a solid hit on me. The goblin in midair is probably the diversion while the goblin on the ground is the attacker. Too bad, that only applies to those weaker than you!
“Oraahh!!”
“Gyiihh!?”
“Gyahii!?”
The goblin in midair’s momentum was redirected to the goblin on the ground, crashing into it and throwing both of them off balance. As for what I did earlier, when the goblin in midair’s attack was going to land, I stepped lightly to the right, grabbed the goblin’s stick and spun around while throwing it into its comrade.
Right now, I have a weapon with me, albeit a stick, but it is still better than nothing. Another goblin charged at me with its short sword and tried to slash at me diagonally. I dodged it by leaning my body slightly to the left and grasped its hand holding the sword, and kicked it away, in the process, ripping its arm off.
“GYYYHHHH!!!???”
Fresh blood spurted from the torn arm and the goblin screamed from the pain. The other goblins went into a frenzy and all came rushing towards me. This makes it easier. I grabbed the sword from the torn off arm and held it in my right, with the stick in my left.
“Now, COME GET ME!!”
I shouted a cry to boost my fighting spirit as I got ready for battle.
One goblin who was faster than the rest reached me earlier. It was holding a rusty dagger in its hands, and with that dagger, tried to stab me. I got out of its path and kicked it towards one of the goblins behind it, lodging its dagger inside its body.
“Gyuuhh!!”
Blood seeped out from the wound as it let out a howl of pain. While they were entangled, I stabbed the sword through the two, ending their lives.
Six left!
A goblin wielding a hatchet came at me over my head. I tried to do a downwards swing with its hatchet, but thanks to the stick in my left hand, I redirected the swing’s trajectory a little to the lift, causing it to miss, and I beheaded it with my sword.
Five left!
Three goblins, one that lost an arm, and the two who crashed into together because of me, tried lunging at me close to each other. Thinking it was a good opportunity, I used one of my skill.
“[Breath Fire]!”
I breathed in deeply and blew out flames towards the three goblins, turning them to ash.
Two left!
The other two goblins were hesitating whether to attack me or run away. Sadly, I’m not that forgiving when it comes to people or creatures trying to attack me, or those precious to me.
I lunged at the nearest gobbling and bisected it in half, causing its blood to paint the grass red and innards bursting out. The last goblin tried to make a run for it, but…
“[Dragon Tail]!”
I used my tail and hit at its head, tearing it off from its body. A blood fountain gushed out from its body as it slumped onto the floor. The eight goblins were all annihilated within seconds and this place, where greenery stood pure, now turned into a crimson land.
“Woohh… That takes care of that. Now, let’s collect the loot.”
In the adventurers guild, I learned that proof of subjugation of a goblin is in the form of its right ear, but I have no guild card nor identification paper so cross that out for money making for now.
That said, there is a chance that a goblin has a magic stone inside of it. Since living monsters sometimes have a magic stone inside, it can be sold off or used to create a magic item. But this is a goblin we’re talking about. At most, it will net me a few coppers, but beggars can’t be choosers.
I took the dagger from the goblin I killed earlier and cut its chest. Using more force, since this corpse is useless so this can be handled roughly, I cut open the chest of each goblin.
Out of all the goblins, excluding the three that were burned, only three had magic stones inside of them, and they are all color red. This can net me at least a silver coin and 50 coppers, but let’s not get my hopes up.
After disposing of the corpses using [Breathe Fire], I continued on my way towards the direction of these footsteps.
