Two men stared each other down in a dimly lit room, one man wore a stylish business suit while the other wore a skin hugging outfit.
“I trust the package is secure.” Said the man in the suit.
The other man said “Yes. My agents have captured the target and her cargo. The military caught on to our stunt however, they were forced into hiding until things cool down. This will likely delay us by at least a month seeing how tight border security is right now. Our plans with the Blood Fangs must be postponed for the time being.”
The man in the suit looked out the window and sighed, “We will have to bear with it for now, investigators can be bribed, but the paparazzi is hot on our tails and we can’t risk losing our public image… Do what you must, I’ll handle things on this end.”

“Sure. I’ll get to it.” Said the seedier of the two men as he headed for the door. He paused as he was leaving and turned back to say “I look forward to our partnership, Mister Carrels.”
He stepped into the shadows and vanished, leaving the other man alone in silence.
The man spoke to himself wistfully as he spun on his chair and smiled, “So they got the woman too, huh? How fortunate, that’ll save us a lot of trouble, we just need to make her… cooperate.”
He grinned as he thought of it. He now had personal samples of the Kronos Cells, he wouldn’t have to work in tandem with the others, he could keep the information for himself if he wished! The only thing that would change what he planned was the information that he gained from it, maybe he would use it to destroy his competitors? Maybe he would sell it to the highest bidder? Only time would tell.
He chuckled at the thought of that.
“‘Only time will tell the fate of the Kronos Cells’? That’s gotta be my worst this week!” he exclaimed bemusedly.
