Mlseuir Grastu - Phantom's Escape

Eos’ Perspective

Thank god I ran out of the room, things were getting too hot for Azalea’s body to handle. I was controlling Azalea’s body which was disguised as Afereo’s body.

Azalea was still unconscious and her energy levels were really low.

I used a ton of energy to fool that powerful grandmaster. I guess he really wasn’t called Grandmaster Nova for no reason. That little devil, Afereo, was quite powerful too. He hid so much latent power underneath that little body of his.

If you’re asking what happened to Afereo, well he basically saw the same situation that nova did.

Grandmaster Nova came into the room early, told Afereo that the child was loose and couldn’t be found and that the child might be a lot more powerful than we thought. A few moments later a dark childlike figure entered the room. It was a powerful figure that leaked out great power and mana, similar to that of an unrefined blade. It was wild and reckless, but very strong. It began to spout out random phrases and words that Grandmaster Nova seemed to seem very relaxed about and then Grandmaster Nova said, “Afereo, I expect you to capture the child by the time I come back. I have some work to do with Dr. Lyssia. I’ll see you later.”

Grandmaster Nova then walked through a portal he made while the child grew to the size of a giant and pounced at Afereo while Afereo covered himself with molten lava.

Now I need to run away from here, if the fight escalates fast enough then Grandmaster Nova would either lock the area away from his personal dimension or he would open the gateways to other dimensions to let his employees flee.

I walked out of the room and followed the directions given to me by one of the workers to the nearest teleportation gateway. I needed to get out of here fast. The person standing guard saw me, saluted and then stepped aside for me. Finally, freedom was so close, all I needed to do was get out of this dimensional lattice of webs.

I nodded back at him and then walked through the gate. The fiery red gateway that seemed to be made up of a thin layer of transparent lava looked like it was boiling but it just felt warm. I touched the lava filled gateway and as I pushed myself through the water I found myself in a meadow of white grass. The leaves were white, the grass was white, and there was another person standing there.

A female knight that looked at me. Her armour seemed to resemble that of a celestial angel. It was white and gold, impractical, it had fancy designs carved into the armour, but it was beautiful. The sides were covered in swirls, her helmet was etched with gold lining, her breastplate had the symbols of a golden eagle with four wings which was faceless.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

“Sir Afereo, Welcome to the Indiestral Dimension. How may I help a patron of your status?”

“I’m on a secret task from Grandmaster Nova” I whispered back, giving her a devilishly good looking smile.

She blushed her cheeks were red and she looked away, “Right away sir, but I need to report that someone of your status has came to the Indiestral Dimension if you’re looking for Grandmaster Fiel”

“No worries, I just heard that the food was quite good in this dimension. I just wished to look around”

She nodded. “Right away sir”

I walked down the white pastured meadow before realizing that these pastures spreaded as far as my eye could see. I looked back at the guard and asked, “Would you know where the best food might be?”

She looked at me surprised, “All of our cities have their specialties, may I know what you might be looking for?”

“Something hot and goes good with a really strong drink”

She smiled a bright smile, like a student who knows the answer, “Yes, Illyias town is well-known for their brewery. You might want to visit there” She pointed in a certain direction.

I nodded to her, “Thank you so much” before giving her another naively looking smile. The same kind of smile you would see from a boy who caught a beetle they found and wanted to show you.

I spent 120 Eu of energy to fly there. 20 was the levitation, 30 for the artificial wings, 70 for the propellant of pushing wind against me. Dark angelic wings appeared on my back, they looked like that of a monstrously huge bat. I levitated before I shot into the sky, I felt the chilling wind kissing against my cheek, my clothes fluttering, struggling to stay on. My eyes were tightly shut because of the air pressure. I used a bit of echolocation magic to see my surroundings, and as I felt a city carved into the base of a snowy mountain in view I began to slow down. I slowed down enough that I needed to walk into the mountain city.

From above, the city looked marvelous. It was a city without walls, but there was a statue in the middle with the city revolving around that statue. Roads were built in a circular shape with the entire city’s architecture stemming from the female statue. I’m assuming it’s Grandmaster Fiel.

Grandmaster Fiel looked like a daughter of nature and snow. She had long hair that fell down her face like a work of art, hazel coloured eyes that seemed to be very gentle like a mother deer looking at her fawn. She had a small and petite face that was perfectly symmetrical with long ears that looked like an outstretched wing. Her four ears were feathery but beautiful. She had a small nose and her lips were slightly parted. Her body was a perfect figure and she had medium sized breasts and a moderate ass. She wore clothes that were tight fitting to her skin which made her look beautiful and in her hand was a little dove that rested on her finger that was staring into Fiel’s eyes as Fiel was staring back into the dove’s eyes with loving, kindness and gentleness.

She appeared kinder than the average human. Her eyes felt wiser than the average human. Her posture felt more graceful than an average person with more intelligence and stillness captured within her entire portrait.

I walked into the city, alongside a road that was covered with white leaves that decorated this black road. The snow petals that decorated the road rested with gait and stillness, which was a perfect match for the scenery. Some petals were squashed by the tracks, footsteps and animals but that was part of the scenery too. A kind of beauty that signified life existed on this road.

I abandoned the disguise of Afereo and went back to the little figure of Azalea.

“Afereo~” A voice echoed behind me, “I never knew you were a little girl...or should I call you Azalea?”
