"Y-you! That's against the rules! You can't attack the souls here!" the angel raged as he stood up from the chair for the first time, staring at the mist man with a panicked look on his face.
"Chill... it's not against the rules. Only you're not allowed to attack other souls. There were never rules that forbade souls from attacking other souls. Just the fact that you weren't hit by the heavenly thunder proves that it's not against the rules." he said as he walked toward the table.
Hearing his words, the angel calmed down and took a seat before asking, "Why would you do something like that?"
The mist man shrugged, "That bastard made my past life miserable just because his fiance took a liking to me. I was portrayed as a demonic cultivator even though I was his brother just because the girl he fancied, liked me. It was unfair to me last life, so I just took a petty revenge.
It's not like he'll become a cripple and you know it. The mind, body and the soul are interconnected so as time passes, his soul will heal. Though, I don't really know about the side effects."
Sighing, the angel pointed at the table, "Just take whatever you want and leave."
The mist man stared at the table for a few seconds in silence before grinning, "I've been saving up a lot from my first eight lives in this universe. Since this is my last chance, it's time to go all out, don't you think?"
He saw the angel's eyes go wide, "You..."
Grinning, the mist man placed his hand on the table and unlike the others who only got single and double digit numbers, he got four digits like the human emperor. Beside the four digit golden number, there was another four digit number that was black in color.
"Yes, I'm someone from earth and one of the guys whom you've been trying to find. Unfortunately for you, I'm also considered a native to this universe so you can't do a thing to me." the mist man said as he smirked at the angel whose face was red with anger once again.
He had never experienced such a roller coaster of emotions since his creation so when he heard that the guy in front of him was from earth, he angrily summoned a lighting and attacked him.
To his surprise, nothing happened to the guy in front of him. Before he could realise what was happening, a thick stream of lightning fell down from above, incinerating him. The mist man stared at the empty chair and sighed when he saw a lady appear in front of him.

She was extremely beautiful, but that didn't matter as he pointed at the table in front of him, "You gonna let me take stuff or are you also going to kill yourself by attacking me?"
"Please pick what you would like and leave." she said, her voice cold and expressionless as she took a seat.
Grinning, the mist man nodded and glanced at the two numbers that were at the right side corner of the table.
"8238 bad karma and 12110 good karma." he muttered before looking up at the new angel in front of him, "Don't you think that this system is a bit unfair? Good and bad karma cancel each other out, so regular people cannot fully utilise stuff here."
That was the sole reason for almost all the souls to have only single and double digit karma points with single digits being the most common. So if anyone wished to have huge numbers like the human emperor or himself, they had to only do good deeds or only bad deeds.
The angel stared at him for a second before speaking, "We angels simply follow the rules of the heavens."
"New born angels really are stuck up and hard to talk to..." he commented as he looked down at the multiple items that were displayed on the table. The more karma points a person had, the more items it would show.
He pointed at one of the items that was extremely pricey according to normal standards, "This one. I'll buy the important information and knowledge about the universe and heavens."
The angel nodded and a second later, ten thousand karma points were gone. A lot of information was forced into his very being. Since he was a mere soul, there was no way he could keep all the information intact if things continued to go on.
As he felt his soul getting increasingly unstable, he hurriedly pointed at another item which also cost 10,000 karma points.
"How much would it cost to be born as near as possible to the human emperor who just left this place?"
"Three hundred."
"I'll take that and along with that, I want a spiritual root of the lowest grade!" he said hurriedly and a moment later, there was only 38 karma points left.
Since he had gotten everything he wanted to, he climbed on top of the table and jumped over the angel before passing through the hole effortlessly.
The moment his entire body passed through, he lost all of his senses. He didn't know how long it took, but once he got back the sense of touch, he felt his soul stabilise. The information that he had bought, was slowly getting absorbed by his brain.
He could feel that he was inside a small and enclosed space and he also felt warmth.
'I'm still in the womb... so this is the perfect time to absorb the information as much as possible.' he thought as he used his first grade spiritual root and tried to sense the surroundings, specifically his mother's physical condition.
'Currently sleeping.... but overall, she's a healthy woman. She has no spiritual root, which means that she's not a cultivator. Not the worst case scenario, but it's not a great situation either...'
While he wished to know more, that was the limit of what he could do while inside the womb. He was unable to hear and nor was his sense of touch completely developed, which meant that he was still only a four to sixteen weeks into his development.
