After his home was destroyed due to unknown forces, Dante was adopted into the church against his will. Finding no other option but to follow along with their teachings, Dantes goes through school in the monastery, becoming an acolyte without a say in the matter. However, through a series of unknown events, The world finds itself besieged by a terrible calamity, Dante is flung around within the church trying to stay afloat while a war rocks the land until he is drafted to fight without any experience at all. Hateful peers, Drafting, fighting against his will, being forced into the church, detriment or advantage.  A homeless boy with the whole world ahead of him. Will he sink or swim?
