The annual economic development meeting with Queen Mahadevi was in progress. Vedavalli had been looking forward to this meeting for weeks, as it was an opportunity for her to discuss important matters of state with the queen and provide her with advice and counsel. On her right sat Vikramaditya, the chief advisor for education, his face a mask of concentration as he listened to the proceedings.
The queen began the meeting by discussing the Malla kingdom's economy and the need to incentivize and support growth in research and graduate students. She emphasized the importance of investing in new technologies and innovative ideas that would drive economic growth and improve the lives of her people.
Vedavalli listened attentively as the queen spoke, and she could see the passion and commitment in her eyes. She knew that the queen truly cared about the well-being of her kingdom and her people.
When the queen finished speaking, Vikramaditya presented the data and statistics supporting the queen's argument. He highlighted the potential benefits of investing in research and development, and he provided concrete examples of how other kingdoms had successfully used these strategies to drive economic growth.

Vedavalli listened carefully to Vikramaditya's presentation, nodding along and adding a few suggestions. She could see that the queen and Vikramaditya were both committed to finding ways to improve the economy and the lives of the people.
The meeting was proceeding as planned, but while they were discussing important matters of state, Vedavalli received an urgent message from her team. They alerted her of Prince Mukund's escape from the infirmary. Vedavalli was shocked and confused, she didn't know what to make of this. She knew the importance of Mukund's safety, and she couldn't help but wonder what could have led to this.
As she read the message further, she found out that Mukund was not alone, he had fled the palace with a girl, who was in traditional wedding attire, known as lojja bostro. This added another layer of mystery to the situation. Vedavalli couldn't help but think that this was Ojayjit's doing, as he had offered to help Prince Mukund in the past.
Vedavalli quickly excused herself from the meeting and said to the queen and Vikramaditya, "Your majesty, I'm sorry, but I must leave. I've received an urgent message and I must attend to it immediately."
The queen and Vikramaditya looked at Vedavalli with concern, they knew that whatever it was, it must be important.
"Of course," the queen said. "Please, take care of whatever it is that needs your attention. We can continue this discussion later."
Vedavalli nodded, and then quickly left the palace to investigate the situation and find Prince Mukund and the girl.
