Chapter 2(Kynneth)- Overcoming the mind

Kynneth knew he would have to walk a while, as he had studied the map for a while and knew the approximate distance from spawn that the orc village was. He walked and kept on guard the entire time, materializing a plan in his head. He knew that the orc village usually had about 40 orcs in it and never went above 50. He figured he would kills the ones who were by themselves and move their corpses into an out of sight area. Generally orc villages had a lookout equipped with a bow, and his goal was to kill that one so he could take the bow and kill groups with more ease. He could see the village in the distance now. 40 minutes, he muttered to no one in particular, just as I expected. He could see the lookout in the tower, perfect for his plan. He would sneak in, clear the area under the lookout and kill the lookout. First however he needed to see how many orcs were near the lookout, so he found a nearby hill where he could see inside, but the lookout probably wouldn't see him. 3 orcs close to the lookout he noted. He headed towards the village evading the lookout's view. Arriving at the village he unsheathed his sword and quickly separated all three of the orc's heads from their bodies. Noting how real that felt, he was somewhat sick. He knew he would have to overcome this, but took a second to rest his mind. The putrid smell and the feeling of blood hitting him were just too real, too gross for him to bear immediately. He pushed it out of his mind and climbed up the ladder to made a clean cut through the torse of the lookout orc. Taking the bow he sat in the lookout tower and took out any orcs that were isolated. Doing a recount, he had 31 more orcs to deal with. Luckily for him none of the orcs were in big groups. He started picking off duos with his bow, it wasn't easy to kill two fast enough to not have the orcs alert the rest of the village but he had trained in archery in the real world. It was why this was his plan in the first place, and it felt just as he remembered. The stinging sound of the arrows leaving the string, the satisfying feeling that he felt when he hit the target he was aiming for, it all felt so real even though he knew it wasn't. He kept picking off any orcs in pairs. After taking out all orcs that were in pairs, he knew he wouldn't be able to kill 3 fast enough to not alert. With all pairs gone, he did another recount, totaling to 15. 5 groups of three. He took out 2 from one group before the third alerted, and he quickly took that one out too. 12 orcs left, doable with his sword, and he quickly climbed down from the tower. He moved towards the farthest group, as he knew the closer one would move towards the tower faster so he would have more time. He swiftly dispatched of the first orc's head, and flowed his movement into the second orcs stomach, cleanly cutting it in half. The third shouted, just before it's throat was stabbed through. Fuck, Kynneth thought, he wasn't ready for 9 orcs at the same time. He quickly moved away, while maintaining a clear view of the area he had just taken out the three orcs in. He pulled his sword out of his inventory and killed the closest orc, before shooting the second. The orcs were getting closer, but he managed to get 2 more before he had to retreat from the position. He ran behind one of the orc tents and got a position for when the orcs rounded the corner. The came around the corner and he managed to kill 4 of them before pulling his sword out. He quickly put his blad through the last orc's chest and blew a sigh of relief. He knew he could do it, but the feeling of killing the beings and the smell were too much for him. He threw up, and recovered himself. Moving to the orc storage, he found 50g and a leather vest that would give him minor protection, but any protection was better than none. He took the loot and quickly got out of the village, heading back for Alk.
