The sound of birds chirping outside makes Kazuka open his eyes and he sees the sun gradually appear in the sky.

"What time is it?" He asks in his mind and struggles to get up from the floor, putting himself on the bed.

He wipes at his eyes and stretches getting up from the bed and walking over to his phone to check the time.

The time indicated by the phone is 6am so he takes his time and catches his breath sitting with his eyes closed for a few moments.

"I'm ready for another day" he says and opens his eyes walking towards the bathroom.

Entering the bathroom he turns on the shower for hot water to come and in the meantime he goes to the kitchen where he grabs a glass of water and drinks it.

At 8am, Kazuka has reached the schoolyard and looks around seeing all the students talking amongst themselves.

He wipes his eyes and continues walking, entering the school he puts on his school shoes and closes his locker.

Kazuka walks to his classroom and a girl accidentally bumps into him and when she looks up at him she is shocked.

"Is something wrong?" He asks smiling calmly at her but puzzled at the same time.

She doesn't say anything and just continues running through the school and Kazuka watches as she disappears taking a left up the stairs to the next floor.

He looks puzzled but enters his classroom and places his backpack on his desk and walks out into the noisy school hallway.

He walks down the hall for a bit and sees Yuto's face slightly changed so he goes up to him and asks "What's up man?" smiling calmly.

"Ah nothing, just not feeling too good today and I don't know why" Yuto says with a forced laugh and walks into the classroom without another word.

Kazuka looks awkwardly at Yuto but shifts his gaze to the school entrance looking out seeing the leaves of the trees fall to the ground.

"I wonder what's up with Yuto today, he's never like this no matter what" he says in his mind and the little him inside him rubs his chin.

Finally he walks into the classroom and sits down in his seat looking at Yuto who is looking into his phone silently.

So Kazuka gets up and walks over to Yuto patting him on the shoulder calmly and he shifts his gaze to Kazuka.

"Is something wrong Bro?" Yuto asks closing his phone and looking in Kazuka's eyes.

"That's what I was going to ask you, what happened to you that you're acting so different?" Kazuka asks puzzled taking his hand off Yuto.

Yuto looks at him silently and gets up from his chair saying "Nothing, I just had a little problem but I'm fine now" smiling and giving Kazuka a smack on the head.

He laughs watching Kazuka rub his head to get rid of the pain and says "Sorry bro but you deserved it this time" patting him on the shoulder smiling calmly.

"Now I know what this is about, what girl gave you rejection this time bro?" Kazuka says laughing at Yuto.

Yuto is a little nervous and slaps him on the head saying with a raised hand "Don't you dare laugh you loser".

"Okay, okay" says Kazuka smiling calmly but he too slaps Yuto on the back of the head then goes to his bench where he waits for class to start.

The teacher enters the classroom and class begins so all the students start writing.

After the teacher has stopped writing she sits down at her desk and looks at a sheet of paper carefully.

Kazuka finishes writing on the blackboard and looks out of the window but he hears his name called by the teacher "Kazuka, come with me for a moment" she says getting up from her chair.

A little surprised he gets up from his chair and walks with the teacher out of the classroom and they stand in the hall.

"Tell me Kazuka, what makes you so absent?" she asks looking into Kazuka's eyes to intimidate him.

Kazuka's heart begins to pound feeling a fear coursing through his veins and he says "Uh-uh well I have some insignificant problems that won't allow me to come to school" looking terrified at his teacher.

His teacher however smirks and says "You don't have to feel scared, I won't tell anyone after all" licking her lips in a strange manner.

He feels his heart leap out of his mouth from the pressure he feels on him and with a trembling voice he says " What won't you tell?".

"Don't play dumb, I know you didn't even put me in your contacts" she says putting her hands on her hips and looking intently into Kazuka's eyes, her hair waving in the air.

He feels calmer but a little stressed and the little him inside him slaps his face. "I'm sorry I didn't add you to my contacts I just lost the number sheet" he says still scared.

"I'm kidding with you but I wanted to give you this paper, it's in case you want to enter a running competition, I got it from the principal for you" she says wiping tears of laughter from her eyes and holding the paper up for Kazuka to take.

Kazuka breathes calmly and smiles taking the paper looking at it.

"A running competition so, but why me exactly?" Kazuka wonders to himself and the little him inside him punches him in the head.

He rubs his head and says "Sorry teacher, but I don't want to participate in this competition" handing the paper back to the teacher.

The teacher grabs the paper from Kazuka's hand and looks at Kazuka saying "Fine, you don't have to participate anyway" and rubs his head then puts her hand on the doorknob.

"Let's go back to class" she says and opens the door entering the classroom followed by Kazuka who is blushing red in the face.

The girls in the class are visibly inflamed with annoyance looking at Kazuka and when he notices them looking at him the redness in his cheeks disappears and he feels scared.

However he feels a hand on his back and when he turns around it's Yuto who pushes him away smiling at him and saying "Get in your seat already" then sits down in his seat.

Kazuka looks back and smiles rubbing his head as he sits down on the bench and puts his hand on his pen.

"Alright students, let's continue the lesson" the teacher says and starts writing on the blackboard again, the students are totally disappointed that they have to write again.

But the class has passed and Kazuka and Yuto sit in the corner of the classroom discussing several things. "So you mean you refused to enter that contest?" Yuto asks with his jaw dropped.

"Uh yeah, I said I didn't want to participate, after all you know what I've been going through for a while" he says rubbing his hand through his hair smiling.

Yuto gives him a friendly pat on the back and says "You might have seen a lot of girls but it looks like you're loyal to Miyu" laughing and remaining with a happy smile on his face.

Kazuka on the other hand is red in the cheeks and stares at the floor with his fingers pressing against each other.

"Huh? So you really like her?" Yuto says elbowing Kazuka and laughing at him.

Kazuka shifts his gaze to Yuto and says "No, I don't like her, she's just someone I helped and nothing more" still having red in his cheeks.

"Yeah, yeah, that's what everyone says at first" Yuto says putting his hand on Kazuka's shoulder and he continues "But don't worry, if you change your mind I'm here to give you the best advice to win her heart" laughing and patting him on the shoulder.

"I'd rather fight imaginary turtles than take advice from you" says Kazuka laughing loudly wiping tears of laughter from his eyes

Hearing this and feeling insulted Yuto says "Yes? Alright sucker, you're no use being handsome anyway if you don't have your words with you" and he slaps Kazuka on the back of the head.

"Honestly I don't care about being handsome or having the words on me, I'm not ready to have a relationship and I clearly don't have time for that" Kazuka says rubbing the back of his head.

Yuto looks at him silently and then starts laughing holding his stomach continuing to laugh loudly.

"What's so funny?" Kazuka asks and Yuto points behind Kazuka and when he looks he sees the girls pissed off behind him.

Kazuka's cheeks turn red and his face turns pale as the little him inside him bangs his head against a wall having red cheeks too.

"I'm screwed," Kazuka says in his mind and continues to silently stare at the girls as they flick their hair and turn to talk amongst themselves.

"Oh man you really messed up" says Yuto wiping his tears from laughing so hard but finds himself getting punched in the stomach by Kazuka.

Kazuka stands in front of Yuto who is holding his stomach but Yuto doesn't let himself down and grabs Kazuka knocking him to the ground and they both start laughing.

The day has passed so Kazuka walks out of school with his school bag on his shoulder.

Cars pass by on the street illuminating his face and revealing his happy facial expression.

"It's been such a strange day, I can't wait to get home and throw myself straight into bed" Kazuka says in his mind as the little him inside him prepares his bed for sleep.

Seeing this window he breathes a sigh of relief and walks faster towards home "Looks like the key has already arrived which means I'll soon be ready to go again" he says in his mind continuing to walk.

"I really feel the need to somehow get the most out of this system but it seems to have its own rules and I'm still too weak to know what's behind a simple panel with all the things I own in it" he says in his mind opening the door to his apartment walking inside closing the door behind him.

He throws his school bag on the floor and goes straight to his room throwing himself into his soft and relaxing bed saying in his mind "I want to know all about this system" and lifts his head from his pillow.

Looking to his right he sees his computer which is still on from so long ago so he gets out of bed and stretches.

"It might be time to turn the computer off because I've been keeping it on for too long" he says snapping his fingers and approaching the computer.

He puts his finger on the computer's power button and turns it off looking at the monitor screen that is shutting down.

"Inventory" he says grabbing the gold necklace from it looking at it with attention and excitement.

He looks at it and decides to put it around his neck but his hands shake pointing the necklace at his neck.

"Why do I feel this strange sensation running through my veins?" he asks himself as he pulls the necklace away from his neck.

Doing so his hands stop shaking uncontrollably but he feels something is attached to this necklace.

Grasping the necklace properly he pulls on it and breaks it and at that moment a window appears in front of him.

Seeing this, his heart pounds as if it's almost out of his chest, and it shoots out of his chest as fast as it can, and when he blinks he sees himself in another room.

Kazuka looks around and all he sees is dark but he hears something below him and a small portal opens and he steps away from it.

Out of that portal a bony hand comes out and sticking its head out this creature has a hood over its head to cover its face with.

Nothing is visible and its face doesn't even seem to exist, all that is there is a disturbing darkness.

"A... necromancer?" Kazuka says with a trembling voice looking at this creature holding a book.

Looking at it he says "inventory" but nothing happens leaving Kazuka with a bitter taste in his throat.

[In this area you can't use inventory but only the magic you possess, you'll have to fight your way out]

"Shit" he says and out of the ground comes a hand that grabs his leg trying to pull him into the dark ground where it comes out.

He however pulls his leg away remaining with the bony hand on his leg falling on his butt trying to get it away as fast as possible.

However from behind the necromancer appear grotesquely creepy giant skulls that make Kazuka freeze in place.

[You have to get over the fear of death, right?]

"Get lost!" shouts Kazuka, and the window disappears before his shivering eyes, which move unhindered left and right.

Kazuka pulls with all his might on the bony hand that is on his leg and straighten it throwing it away from him.

"A necromancer vulnerability is his book, if I destroy it he will be defenseless but I don't know how many A's up his sleeve" he says in his mind putting himself on guard.

"Way above my strength so it's going to be a big problem" he continues seeing this window of information about the necromancer's level.

But he wasn't paying attention and the necromancer sent a skull that hit Kazuka throwing him away falling on his back.

He spits blood from his mouth, blood that drips from his mouth incessantly yet he gets up and wipes away the blood.

"I can't die like this" he says clenching his fist so hard it starts to bleed.

The necromancer sends another skull but Kazuka runs across the room chased by the skull trying to hit him.

"I'm weak, I'm dumb but I still know how to think" he says and jumps doing a backflip avoiding being hit by the skull which slams into an invisible wall.

Flames shoot out of his bloody fist and his mana comes into action giving him a boost of power.

He runs towards the necromancer and when he wants to hit him an invisible barrier blocks him from hitting the necromancer in the face.

Out of the ground come other skeletons that grab Kazuka by the legs and try to pull him into the ground with them.

However, he uses his fist to hit a skeleton and burns it with flames managing to free one leg but when he was about to hit the other one his hand gets stuck in the air unable to move at all.

Kazuka shifts his gaze to his hand and something invisible holds his hand and he tries to pull his hand out of his grip but feels a searing pain that blocks him.

At the same time the skeleton pulls Kazuka's leg making him feel the pain as if it's broken in half which makes him super uncomfortable.

However Kazuka kicks the skeleton in the head and its head flies away so he's relieved of that pain but left with his hand stuck in the air.

"I have an idea" he says in his mind and uses his magic to see what's squeezing him using the flames as a way to visualize the entity.

But instead of being able to attack after seeing it he is left in shock seeing a hand resembling his mother's hand.

And in that moment a memory strikes him reminding him of his mother.

"Kazuka, stay here quietly" says his mother and holds his hand tightly so that he doesn't start running away.

Since he was a little boy Kazuka was a little nancy boy and loved to explore things without feeling much fear but as he got older the fears started.

"Mom, do you think when I grow up I'll become a hero?" Kazuka asks with a wide smile on his slightly puffy face.

His mother looks at him and smiles saying "Definitely my little hero, but until then you have a long way to go so always be on your guard" and with her other hand she pats his head.

Kazuka smiles and says "You're right mom, I'll have a long way to go but I'll save everyone" but his smile slowly evaporates.

And now coming to his senses he says "You're right mother, I'll have a long way to go but I'll manage to save as many people as I can, I have nothing to lose anyway" and pulls his hand from his grip managing to escape without much pain.

He steps back so that he has a large enough area to attack or dodge attacks if necessary.

He grits his teeth and looks at the book the necromancer is holding in its hand and flames shoot out of Kazuka's hands illuminating everything around him.

"Fear of death, one of the worst," he says, and out of the ground come many skeletons with swords in their hands running towards him.

Kazuka puts his hand on a skeleton and punches it with his fist making ashes out of it so he stops his magic and grabs the skeleton's sword.

"Let's win" he says but behind him a skeleton appears and raises his sword to decapitate Kazuka.

But before the skeleton can swing the sword at him, Kazuka grabs the blade of the sword with his hand and with the sword of the skeleton he killed earlier he cuts off the skeleton's head.

His facial expression is one that is as calm as it is eerie as the blood flows from his hand only for him to have no reaction.

Another skeleton slashes Kazuka on the leg making him feel some pain but this one kicks the other leg over the skeleton's sword leaving him weaponless then decapitating it too.

Kazuka almost gets stabbed but dodges the attack and cuts off the skeleton's head which falls to the ground making a sharp sound of bones.

He grabs the skeletons and uses it as a weapon to kill the other skeletons by swinging it at the skeletons coming towards him.

Managing with this tactic to kill 3 more skeletons he lets go of the body and uses his sword to decapitate two others.

Looking towards the necromancer he notices a red light like an open eye but completely red and out of the ground comes a snake with multiple holes in it that almost caught Kazuka but he uses the sword to block the snake's mouth.

"A giant snake?!" Kazuka says visibly frustrated and scared because yet another fear of his has emerged.

Despite having multiple wounds, the snake is still super agile and throws Kazuka off of itself.

Making contact with the cold ground he feels his organs being kicked up but he gets up feeling the great pain in his body.

The snake hisses and tries to attack Kazuka but he dodges the snake's attack with difficulty but success.

He tries to put himself on his guard with his sword but is picked up by the snake and knocked to the ground hard coughing up blood once he hits the ground.

Kazuka has tears in his eyes feeling an unbearable pain in his back and tries to get up but the snake picks him up again and knocks him to the ground again.

He lifts his head a little with difficulty and tears stream down his face and says "I don't want to die here" with his voice shaking with pain.
