The 3 along with the assailant were taken to the police station to discuss the whole incident with the police and a police officer there approached Kazuka.
"Thank you for saving my daughter from this creep" says the officer and shakes Kazuka's hand.
Kazuka rubs his head and smiles calmly telling him "It's nothing, I'm just doing what's right for Japan" keeping the same slightly forced smile on his face.
"Looks like this gentleman is Hanami's father, interesting coincidence though" Kazuka says in his mind looking at the policeman.
"Sorry if I scared you somehow, my name is Kobayashi Tekka and I really thank you for saving my daughter" the officer says and goes back to talking to the assailant.
So Kazuka is left alone in the middle of the police station waiting for his turn to discuss the incident in detail, but as he waits several officers pass by with files in hand.
"Hm, intere-" he manages to say in his mind when he feels someone clinging to him.
Looking over he sees Miyu who smiles calmly at him and thanks him once again "Thank you so much for saving me and I'm sorry I didn't trust you" she says but Kazuka's heart is pounding.
"H-Hanami, n-n-no it's not ok w-what are you doing" says Kazuka scared that something will happen to him if someone sees him with Miyu standing like this, so he pushes her off him and apologizes.
"Sorry Hanami I'm just not sure if it's okay to hug me right now since we don't know each other" he says and rubs his head smiling calmly at her.
She's blushing red in the cheeks but says " Right, you're right here, sorry" and walks away sitting on a chair in the station.
He looks at her and his cheeks are red too but he hears his name from behind and when he turns around he sees a police officer and Yuto walking out of the room.
"It's your turn now" the officer says and goes inside waiting for Kazuka to come in.
Which he does, he takes a deep breath and goes inside closing the door behind him and sitting on the chair at the table where the officer is.
"Tell me everything that happened in there" the officer says holding his hands on the table.
And next to him is a blank sheet of paper and a pen, which makes Kazuka think he needs to make a statement.
So Kazuka explains everything that happened there and after he finishes telling the story the officer nods and says "Good, now I'd like you to write this information on this paper" and hands him the paper and the pen.
Kazuka takes a deep breath and starts writing everything down from the beginning to the end with the smallest details to the most important ones.
"And Mr. Shinichiro Kazuka, do you have any other incidents like this, or is this the only one so far?" The officer asks taking the paper and pen from Kazuka's face once he has finished.
He has a moment where he is silent and looks at the officer then says "No, this is the only incident of its kind and I accept whatever punishment I get" with a shaky voice.
"No, I don't have to give you a punishment for this I mean after all you saved a person from a crazy guy, it's a truly brave act so you're free, you and your friend" the officer says getting up from his seat.
Which Kazuka does, he gets up from his chair and walks with the officer to the door and the officer holds his hand in the air for a salute.
"Keep up the good work" the officer says and they shake their hands then Kazuka walks out the door with the officer.
Yuto looks at her phone and Miyu has disappeared from her seat, probably going to the bathroom or something.
However he approaches Yuto and asks "Um bro, where did Miyu disappear to?" sitting next to him on the chair.
"Ah, she went home, her mom came and took her" he says and turns his phone off, then puts it in his pocket.
Kazuka takes a moment to think about it and says "Okay, let's go, it's already late" and gets up from his chair.
"I know, my mom called me to ask where I am but I told her I'm at your place" he says and gets up from his chair too.
So they come out of the police station and lie down for a bit, Yuto yawning visibly tired and his eyes a little red from sleeplessness.
But to wake him up Kazuka pats him on the back and says "Stay awake, let's go home" and drags Yuto after him.
"Aaah, yeah you're acting just like mom, dragging me around when I don't want to" he says still being pulled by Kazuka and the sound of his shoes getting louder the more he is dragged.
Eventually they go home, Kazuka taking Yuto home and he now walks home, cars continuing to pass and shine in his face.
He sits with his hands in his pockets thinking, "Now that I'm alone I have more freedom of thought" he says in his mind but is disturbed by the sound of his stomach grumbling.
"I have to eat something, I'm eating at home" he says and continues walking towards his house, his footsteps making a sound because the cars are getting fewer and fewer.
The little he inside him is already sitting up in bed and sleeping soundly but Kazuka stops in his tracks and looks up at the sky.
"I need to learn more about this system and how I can control it to my advantage but at the same time be wary of anything that happens to me" he says in his mind looking at the moon in the sky.
Arriving home, she puts her school bag by the door and takes off her shoes and goes to the bathroom, turns on the light and washes her face.
The sound of running water is soothing and she stands for a while with the water on but then turns it off and wipes her face with a towel.
He grabs a bag of snacks and a bottle of water and says "Inventory" walking to his room.

Sitting down on the desk chair he unzips the bag of snacks and takes a chip from there which he eats.
"Let's see" he says and grabs the key from his inventory.
Now holding the key in his hand he tries to open the portal to the game world but the error appears in front of him.

"I see, then I should trick the system into thinking that time has passed" he says in his thought and rubs his chin thinking about how to do it "But everything has its own rules, if you break them you risk more or less serious consequences" he continues.
"Everything has a rule, but there are people who break them," he says, looking at the key carefully.
He begins to breathe a little slower so he puts the key in his inventory and opens the water bottle drinking a little from it.
After that he wipes his mouth and looks at what else he could use from his inventory, finally grabbing his swords.
"I should upgrade them, the last time I upgraded them was when I was level 31" he says in his mind laughing slightly but forcedly looking at his swords.
"Details" he says and presses the upgrade button for his swords looking at the price for them.

He takes a deep breath and exhales and presses the button to buy just one level.

In the meantime he concentrates on reading the snack bag for lack of ideas about the system.
He takes a deep breath and says "It's probably impossible to crack this system" and puts the bag of snacks on his desk.
But unexpectedly his phone rings and he flinches falling to the floor, pulling his phone out of his pocket he answers the call.
"Hello?" he says waiting for an answer on the other end of the line.
"Bro I have some great news for you" Yuto says into the phone laughing a little at the situation.
Kazuka makes a face like someone hit him in the head with a broom but asks "What news?" getting up from the floor and putting himself back in the chair.
"You know I told you to meet Miyu, well I got her phone number for you" Yuto says laughing but clearly keeping the enthusiasm in his voice.
He doesn't say anything at the thing Yuto said but is blushing red in the cheeks and finally says "W-What?" deeply surprised.
Yuto continues to laugh out loud and says "Yeah bro! I'll send you her number and you decide when you text her, good luck with whatever you're doing there" and hangs up the phone call leaving Kazuka blushing red in the face.
Now he waits on mail for Yuto to send the number but continuing to blush red in the cheeks.
"How much trouble is he giving me" says Kazuka still blushing red in the face and the little him inside gets up from his bed and lies on the floor to sleep.
He finally gets the message from Yuto with Miyu's phone number and replies with "Thanks bro" after saving the number in his phone but hesitates to give her a message.
He looks at the time and it's super late so he gets up from his chair and puts his phone on charge then gets into bed.
"If I was the old one surely no one would look at me and I'd get a beating if I wanted to defend someone" Kazuka says and turns to the side to sleep.
He takes a deep breath and exhales looking at the wall in front of him "I don't have to load my mind with useless stuff, it's clear I can't fall in love, right?" he says and falls asleep.
The next day it is out for a morning walk and it walks quietly down the street as cars pass by incessantly.
Kazuka stretches and yawns then continues his morning walk, the strong sun beating down on him and warming him up.
But at the same time the slightly cooling breeze gives him a chill and he shakes off the sensation.
He continues walking until he reaches a park where he sits on a bench and looks up at the sky, the blue morning sky.
But a window opens in front of him covering part of his visibility, and on this window it reads.

"Can I do exercises for stamina level? Sounds interesting how the system chose to give me the possibility of stamina expansion without leveling up" Kazuka says rubbing his chin but closes the game window.
He looks up at the sky then shifts his gaze to more pigeons that have come over and when he looks closer he sees Miyu silently feeding bread to the pigeons.
Seeing her he wants to talk to her but thinks a second time and comes to his senses by remaining silent on the bench he is sitting on.
The children in the park are playing with water pistols and plastic shovels which makes Kazuka smile as he watches the children play.
But from Miyu he hears her laughing calmly and turns his gaze to her, and a child was on the bench with him talking about his favorite toys with Miyu.
Hearing a bit of the conversation he smiles and turns his gaze back to the children, sitting quietly.
"Oh hey Kazuka!" Miyu's voice can be heard saying this and when he turns his gaze he sees Miyu waving at him.
He hesitates but she says "Come here if you want!" and she continues to play and talk to the little boy sitting with her on the bench.
He gets up from the bench and walks over to her avoiding making any eye contact both of them but he approaches her and that little boy and stands there just watching them play.
But eventually Miyu sees him there and the pigeons stand by him without running away from him.
"Oh, you came" she says laughing a little seeing that the pigeons have gotten on Kazuka's shoes and won't leave.
She looks away and says something in the little boy's ear and he says " Okay" in a calm and joyful tone and walks off to play with the other children.
Now she beckons Kazuka to sit on the bench only the pigeons don't want to get off his shoes which annoys him and he manually knocks them off his shoes.
Miyu puts her hand to her mouth laughing calmly after she again gestures for Kazuka to sit down, which he does only for the pigeons to follow him and sit next to him, some on his feet and some sitting around him.
"I see the pigeons love you," Miyu says laughing calmly and wiping the tear from her laughter.
"Yes, I used to give bread to the pigeons every time I went out for a walk, I always bought bread and gave it to them" says Kazuka rubbing his head smiling calmly and a little anxiously.
She smiles back and looks at Kazuka's face which is blushing "Are you cold or something?" She says having the same blushing face.
He laughs a little and rubs his head anxiously saying "No, I just had a headache when I came out of the house" but the little him inside says "Liar".
She looks at him and turns her gaze to the children "I didn't expect to meet you here" she says wiping the shame from her face.
He turns his gaze to where she is also looking and says "I didn't expect it either but pure coincidence I guess" smiling calmly seeing the children playing.
She laughs calmly and says "When I see these children I remember myself as a child which fills me with happiness" continuing to look at the children.
" Same" Kazuka says and calmly looking at the children.
"I guess your friend told you he took my number and gave it to you, right?" She says shifting her gaze to Kazuka.
He stays silent and refuses to look at her and then says "Y-Yeah, he gave me your number last night" having red in his cheeks saying this
"Tell me more about yourself, I'm curious" she says this and when Kazuka turns his gaze to her she has stars in her eyes.
"Uh-huh" he says not knowing what to say and this being his first time interacting with a girl in private without being judged.
The sun in the sky being strong and he covers his eyes because of it. "Of well I'll start" she says then coughs a little.
"I like to help people who need help and I love playing with kids because like I told you, it reminds me of my childhood" she says smiling at him calmly.
He takes his hand away from his eyes and smiles back saying "Well I like video games and going out from time to time" keeping the smile on his face a little forced.
"Nice, I love reading books about different realities and how they work, probably sounds weird" she says smiling at him.
But he assures her it's not weird saying " Um there's nothing weird about wanting to find out stuff about other worlds, even if they don't most likely exist" but in his mind he little inside himself nods disapprovingly.
"Anyway, I think I have to go home," Kazuka says, getting up from the bench and looking at Miyu.
Miyu smiles at him and says "Sure, be careful on the way home" then shifts her gaze to the kids.
He's red in the face but is annoyed by the pigeons not getting off him so he moves them and walks, but they still follow him.
Seeing this he starts to run to lose track of him and eventually lets him settle down but he doesn't stop running.
Miyu meanwhile laughs seeing this but reverts to her usual routine of feeding the pigeons with what she has left.
Now Kazuka walks home with a full mind "I'm a player now, that makes me realize I'm not a person anymore" he says to himself in his mind as he continues walking.
"But I still have emotions, I still have feelings and I still love the things I used to do before I was merged into this new form of mine with access to this system" he continues walking with his hands in his pockets.
Cars pass by making a loud noise each.
Raindrops begin to fall on the ground and on Kazuka himself, he stops and looks up at the sky and the raindrops fall on his face.
"I'm still a human, but with the features of a player" he says walking home in a hurry to keep the rain from starting worse.
Arriving home he takes off his shoes and goes to his room where he sits on his bed and looks at his computer.
He takes a deep breath and says "Inventory" then pulls out the key to enter the game but same cooldown.

"I'd like to get into the game now because I've been waiting too long for this key to work, but I guess there's nothing I can do but sleep until the time is up so I can use the key" he says and puts the key back in inventory and goes to sleep.
And he only wakes up in the evening when only the street light still illuminates the street and he gets out of bed.
He yawns and looks at his phone to see what time it is, the current time is 23:42 so he looks out the window in his room.
"It's time to get in the game but there's a chance I may not be able to go to school again tomorrow" he says in his mind getting out of bed and opening the window to get some air.
But before he does anything he goes to the bathroom to wash his face and teeth, the water soothing his mind.
He looks in the mirror and smiles to himself saying "I'm still a human even if I'm different" so he brushes his teeth and then wipes himself with a towel.
Coming out of the bathroom he goes to his room and takes out his phone to text Yuto. And the message is that he's leaving for the virtual world and might not come to school so he makes up an excuse to save his skin.
And he puts his phone on his desk and closes the window to make sure nothing happens while he's away.
"Inventory" he says and grabs the key and in front of him appears the lock and inserts the key into it then rotates the key in the lock.
The bright light absorbing him back into the game in the area he was left before he left the game.
But as he expected the giant spider appears shaking the chamber with its steps and the sound of them being difficult to listen to.

Kazuka feels fear coursing through his blood but he draws his swords and gets into an attack position to fight the spider.
"I'm afraid to say it, but it looks like I'm going to have to fight this spider if I want to survive".
