Chapter 4

The sun illuminates the chilling early hours of the morning, the frozen dew glistens like diamonds. Winter was slowly making its way towards town, and a cold wisp of air travelled to the body of Siris, waking him.

He opened his eyes, instantly awake, checking the room that he his familiar with to see if there is any difference, darting his eyes about.

After checking, he stretched, nimbly, like a cat, and yawned, showing his pearly white teeth. He got out of bed, and walked downstairs, he could already smell breakfast being cooked, and even when he limits his senses, the aroma of the food permeated the house. The family were early to get up, as Siris came down, he met the family. Alena and Elizabeth were in the kitchen, making the breakfast.

“Helloooo” he said to them all.

“Hi”, “Hey” “Helooo haha”, “yo” were the responses that he got.

He moves to the sofa and lays down, peacefully. He feels a presence behind him, and without looking, calls to her

“Alena, what are you doing?” playful suspicion in his voice.

“Oh, all the time, he knows!” said Alena from behind him, giggling whilst pouting. She had her hands on her hips looking over him

Siris exaggeratedly smells the air “I can smell something burning”.

Alena jumps in fright and runs back down to the kitchen, Siris laughs to himself, and can hear Michael laugh as well. “So”, he begins “what are we going to do today?” Directing it to everybody, they all had thoughtful looks on their faces, until Alena, with her head popping out from around the wall said.

“Why don’t we head to the mall? We need to get new stuff anyway”, we all smiled then, as we knew that Alena doesn’t want to go there just for us, she is a shopaholic, to the extreme, we all knew that.

Her father sinks his head into his hands “and what do you want this time Alena?” exhaustion can be heard in his voice. Alena twirls a strand of her hair around her finger “nothing much” she replies, with a small smile.

Michael patted his father’s back reassuringly, knowing when his sister said that, it was a lot more than people would think. In Michaels head, he can hear the sound of money disappearing, ceasing to exist.

Siris made a small chuckle at the families expense, living along with them, he already knows of Alena’s misleading comments about shopping. At least she didn’t say it was gonna be a big shop like two months ago remembering the amount of money the family had to pay, buying a casino would be along the same lines of money that was used. And what it was used on? A bit on the house, for more defensive capabilities, but most of it was used on… a pair of earrings for Alena’s sixteenth birthday.

The men in the house shivered at the same time, most likely thinking the same thing.

Siris sighed deeply, moving towards the keys to one of the cars outside “come on then, the sooner we get this done, the better for all of us”. Alena had a frustrated look on her face, whereas the rest of the family sighed deeply, and walked with Siris as an agreement.

Because of the technological advancements, cars these days were more high-tech than most houses. Although they had invented hover cars, it used too much fuel to power. But the ones on the ground were the best, the fastest speed on the ground, smooth control, and can be auto-piloted so no worries about driving this monster.

But Siris actually drives it, with no autopilot. At the moment, the family looks calm, but they weren’t like this when he first drove this car, they held onto dear life, because the autopilot was always the safest in driving, but so did Siris. But that’s changed now; they are no longer sceptical about his driving.

Siris loved this car ever since he first saw it, with an elegant look, and the calm colour of a shiny grey. Siris was immediately hooked with it.

He started the engine, shifted the gears, and speed off into the distance.

They arrived at the mall, in a record breaking 5 minutes, as they lived 30 miles away from it, that was fast. Siris pocketed the keys as he got out, and was immediately set upon by Alena “we’re gonna go now!” she drags Siris away by his arm, he looks over to Michael, pleading, but he looks away, smiling.

He betrayed me! Siris clenched his fists in fake anger. He couldn’t help but notice the warm feeling he had on his arm, and noticed that his arm was completely hidden away in the Alena’s ‘Canyon’. Siris, innocent to what is happening, blushed deeply. Alena unfortunately noticed, and, knowing why he was blushing, teased him more with her canyon, with a mischievous grin on her face.

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

He looked away in embarrassment, and saw people looking at them in an angry way, mostly from men, he immediately knew why, knowing that he probably reeks with a ‘lovey-dovey couple’ image. Then his embarrassment rose to new levels as Alena whispered seductively “come on then Siris” and blew on his ear.

His mind now completely gone because of that, Siris didn’t notice where Alena was taking him, he didn’t notice even with all the clothes and accessories that were in front of him, not until he was made to come into a dressing room with her.

“Wait” he shook his head in confusion, “where am I?” he looks around, and to his astonishment sees the bare back of Alena, Siris became mesmerised at the sight, that pearly white skin with no blemishes, and the softest skin that could ever be created. But he quickly came to his senses and tried to escape from the dressing room, but Alena quickly got hold of him, and with a strength surprising him, pulled him back in.

He was turned around to face Alena, and another mesmerising sight came, with silky stocking on, Alena was wearing lingerie. As before, his mind was blank from the sight, and a little drool flowed out form the corner of his mouth. With a small, cute smile on, Alena spun around, showing every asset that men would die for. “Do you like it?” her voice quiet, almost shyly. Siris’ mind couldn’t take it anymore, he had no control anymore “uhhhhhhhhhhhh” came out of his mouth, Alena chuckled softly before moving over, and hugging him.

Shock ran through his body, stimulation was at an all-time high, with his last shred of consciousness; he controlled the reaction of one thing on his body. His body twitched everywhere, Alena’s head rested on his chest, smelling him, she smiled, before moving off him “can a lady get changed in peace?” her eyebrow raised questionably. Siris gave a small nod of his head, before walking slowly and stiff through the door, and waited outside.

He stood there for a time, unable to think of anything, he could feel the many stares he was getting from the other females within the store, and some awareness came to him then, and he looked around. And he hung his head in embarrassment, as he was in an only-girls store called Lingerie Paradise, a very popular store for lovers.

What was that? Why did she show me her b..body his cheek became a scarlet red, thinking of Alena. What does this mean? All his life he has been fighting, killing. So of course he is innocent to the advances of a woman.

Alena finally comes out of the dressing room, and pays for the ‘clothes’. All the while Siris stood there with his arm trapped between tow melon sized marshmallows, the receptionist had a small smile on her face as she handed the bag full of items to Alena, and they start walking again.

Alena’s head rested on Siris’ shoulder, her face clearly showed contentment. With her cheeks a soft pink in excitement, they walked for a while.

Everything was fine, they got some snacks, bought even more clothes, and even watched a movie, and today was truly a ‘date’ even if Siris didn’t have any knowledge about such things.

But today would start a drastic change for Siris’, and the worlds lives forever, for Siris saw someone he never wanted to meet again, a tracker from the Organisation, from the scientists. He quickly pulled Alena with him to hide behind one of the many shops’ corner.

“Siris? What going o-“ he quickly put his hand over her mouth, and trained his eyes on the tracker, he was currently talking to a shop keeper, looking friendly, dressed up in what a typical tourist would wear. Ending his business with him, he moved off to the exit of the mall. For a couple of minutes, Siris still had his eye on the tracker, seeing where he was going, seeing if his task was important with the quickness of his walk before finally relaxing.

Alena quickly removed Siris’ hand away from her mouth, “what was that about Siris?” her face concerned for Siris.

He looked into Alena’s eyes, seeing the purity and the care she had for him, but he couldn’t tell anyone, especially her. He can’t endanger anyone who he cares about. He quickly shook his head “sorry Alena, but don’t worry” he faked laugh “nothing serious”.  His eyes wandered towards the exit, and the will to protect his family dwelled within his eyes.
