Siris looked at himself in the mirror, trying to find anything different about him to no avail. The only thing he could find different was the crystal clear look his eyes gave, he remembers when these eyes were dull and lifeless. He shook his head to get rid of those memories.
“Okay, my senses have been upgraded…” he sneered. “Again.” he walks back and forth, trying to figure everything out. “And what was with that glass? That was so strange.” It’s obvious that that crystal had something to do with it, but what is it? How can a crystal do something like this? Albeit it did come from space and as people say, its ‘uncharted territory’. But still?
What am I going to tell Michael’s family? He wonders, I could say it was a nosebleed. He eyes light up at the idea. Simple as it may be, simple is the best, he reckons. He sits back down onto the bed, and starts eating his breakfast.
After eating, he moves down stairs. It was a journey, as Michael’s family was quite well-off, so the stairs in the house/mansion went on endlessly. His eyes glittered in humour when thinking that the stairs would be an exercise by itself.
He jumped the last ten stairs when he made sure no one was around him, and he landed without a sound, and without any effort. He made his way to the kitchen, where he could hear the loud clanging of plates and cutlery, and there was the family, Michael, Alena and their Parents, Elizabeth and Kieran. All of them have got a pale complexion, and they had a wonderfully lush head of blond hair. Compared to me, they are royalty. He snickers to himself.
“Siris! What are you doing up!?” shouts Alena, “you know you should still be in bed” as Alena rambles on about his safety, Siris spots Kieran and Elizabeth smile kindly at us, and Michael just shakes his head while snickering. He plead with his eyes for them to help him, but they walk away smiling.
“I’m alright Alena, seriously I’m fine” He says to her while smiling. She stops making a fuss of him, and looks up into this eyes “You sure?” she asks. Siris looks into her deep emerald eyes, a little guilty feeling wells up inside him, but what can he say to not make him sound like a madman? “It was quite a bad nosebleed, that’s all.” She looks into his eyes, trying to find something, before settling for what he said being the truth.

He looks back into the room, the family that took him in, he smiles lightly. They’re a good, normal and happy family, and I will protect that. A determined look flashes before his eyes, before he looks back at Alena; she was washing away the remnants of breakfast. Might as well help her, he walks to the sink and starts drying the wet cutlery and plates. There’s nothing like a good, old fashioned cleaning.
I see Alena smile as I joined her, and we settled into a peaceful atmosphere. No one talked, they didn’t need to. Siris looks over to Alena again, nearly finished with the drying, she has a small smile on her face, and she looked like a goddess through the light of the soft, midday sunlight. I wonder what she is thinking?
…do I tell him… peaceful… love hi…
Siris backs away, shocked. What did her just hear? What was that? That was Alena’s voice, but I didn’t ‘hear’ it, it was… in my mind! Suddenly, he felt wetness on his lips, it was a blood trial, leading from his nose. Wow, isn’t that Karma? Siris thinks too himself, before removing all the blood from his nose.
He quickly finishes the dishes, and nearly sprints, before turning around and calling out in a shaky voice “I’m just going to the toilet” before making it to the bathroom in under 3 seconds. What is Happening? Now I’m hearing voices? That fucking crystal has fucked me over. He breathes in slowly, letting all his thoughts calm down.
He looks at himself in the mirror, and talks to himself,
“ I need to get to the bottom of this.”
