Chapter 1 The Accident

Siris calmly walked the streets of the mountain town Spiral, he walked into the shade of the buildings, people greeting him along the road. after the incident with the teenage bullies he came to be respected by the other people living in Spiral.

It is the year of 2359, and technology has skyrocketed, but because of this resources such as fossil fuels have nearly all been used up, and with all the technology they have they couldn't save themselves by thinking of a new energy source, and so wars started all over the world.

People used any means necessary to kill the other person, biological weapons, lasers, cyborgs, the list is endless for the ways that resulted in death.

Then rumours circulated about a group of scientists experimenting to create the “perfect weapon”, and many of their creations were used on the battlefield, and every single one of them killed thousands, but one more so than others, and similarly,  they stated that this was the “perfect weapon”.

A boy that decided the outcome of the war between the Nero England and eastern Europe frightened the other country’s much more than they had anticipated, for he had killed the massive army’s of both sides in a week, by himself, using all manner of sly and cunning techniques such as poison and setting up bombs inside their camps. and when the two army’s catch this boy, or try to, they would all die within getting reaching distance from him, cut or shot with uncanny accuracy and power.

But the thing that frightened the worlds governments so much was that this boy was only 13.

In the eyes of the government he was a freak, an abomination, a threat that must be stopped. so the governments joined together in a temporary truce to attack this boy and his makers. and so, of 3 years of tiredly searching, they found them, and they annihilated them…. or so they thought.

As the boy was their “perfect weapon”, he could naturally survive an assault of this caliber, and he fled and hid, and he rejoiced. for he had been a prisoner, experimented on from a young age and learning all manner of things, and also tortured, trying to make him into a weapon and not a person, but what they didn't know was that he could remember his life before! he could remember his name! now he harden himself, enduring, waiting for that one, sweet opportunity to escape.

He hid in sewers and the wastes of the world for over a year, bidding his time until he and his makers were forgotten. and so he entered the city of spiral , and then he was accepted, for the first time in his life. now joy filled his mind, making him forget his past.

Siris was walking downs the now familiar streets, thinking now of the future. he was trying to get into university, but Siris had to do some tests before he could. Siri laughed at the idea of tests, his time spent in the servitude of the scientists made him more intellectual than anyone could. plus with all the experiments Siris had unlimited mental and physical potential thanks to the experiments so he had no fear of these tests.

He laughed to himself despite the experimentation and pain of the past, as numerous people say “always look on the bright side”.

In the midst of his dwellings, a meteorite outside the orbit of earth, came crashing down, burning away ti reveal a sparkling, translucent gem like rock that would put any diamonds found on earth to shame, and its path was heading straight for Siris, but more accurately his chest. Siri was aware of something coming for him but the gem was too fast for him to dodge and he got impaled by the gem.

He looked down at himself, looking at it, in the middle of his chest, but there was something strange, there was no blood on it and there was no feeling of pain, actually there was a feeling of pleasure. then he felt a strange energy travel through the gem into his body affecting every single cell, every atom in his entire body, changing him, he looked at his hands and saw his fingernails become crystal like, his shoulder length hair changed colour from an ordinary brown to a sparkling white, and his eyes became sharp and clear like a diamond, he grew in height and muscle. he completely changed.

Siris felt all this happening to him, and felt that the gem imbedded in his chest deteriorate, and flow in his blood stream, becoming one with him. but when the shards of the gem, possessing great power, reached his brain, he felt a tidal wave of power, uncontrollable, and he sank into unconsciousness.

Siris woke up in the familiar room of Michael’s house, Siris would always feel grateful to that boy as for the past few months he has been like a blessing for God. They must have moved me, he thought

and a warm feeling passed through his cold heart. but then he remembered what happened. ‘Was that a dream? no, no the pain was real enough’ he looked towards his chest, his clothes was ripped to shreds, but no damage could be seen to his body. ‘What?’ he felt around his body, but couldn't find anything to suggest that he was hurt.

Although i have a much faster regeneration speed than humans, it shouldn't heal this fast he thought to himself, then shock showed on his face, was it that? that crystal? he racked his brain trying to think of all the possibilities on how and why? even with his outstanding mind, he couldn't think of any reason for it.

But then BANG, his conscious was filled with the sound of the first step on the ground floor being trodden upon, Siris covered his ears from the pain and the shock of it, yet again dumbfounded with his strange ‘upgrade’, he controlled his breathing and suppressed his hearing to a regular humans, and sighed in relief when that unbearable noise went away. he noticed to his side a glass of water, he reached out for it, and the glass moved towards his outstretched hand. What? he reacted, jumping away from the glass, but his feet was caught within the covers of the bed, and even with his reflexes, he fell over onto the floor. the door opened and out came Alena, the sister to  Michael        carrying a tray of food.

“Ah your up!” she put the tray down on the cabinet next to the bed, then put her hand on Siris’ head, and in a relieved voice, “Thank god, that fever is finally gone”. Siris was shocked. A fever? he has never had a fever “I’ll get more water for you” and with that she turned around, and with a fleeting glance back at Siris, left him with his breakfast.

He sat up in his bed, sweating. His heart stirring with fear. What is going on?
