Fren POV

“Bored, bored, bored.” I never thought the school is this boring.

“Ahh... Really grateful it finished already” with a few second paused. “Ohhhhhh!!! Library!! That’s right!!! Library!!” I just remembered the existence of library. Almost everyone in the class stared at me because I suddenly shouting.However, I ignored them all. Elone still sleeping. I wondered why and how Elone can sleep every time when we were in the class.

Yelma and Miguel already went for they duties as student councils. It seems bothersome. Some of my classmates hurriedly went outside after the class finished.

“Elone wake up… Wake up.” Fren shakes him up. Elone yawned and half awake glanced at Fren.

“It recess. Let’s go to library~” Fren said in delighted. Elone nodded and stretching his body.

“Nikael do you want to follow us?” I asked the boy next to me. He seems shocked by my question and shakes his head then, glancing away. Aww rude but making him more mysterious and more curious I become.

“Okay.” I grin sweetly at him and grabbed Elone who still in dozed.

“Where are you going Fren?” a girl name Nienie asked cheerfully. She has whiskers in her cheeks. Half of her hair are brown but in the below are golden that shines like a gold. Really unique since it rare to see anyone with such colors. She seems from the fox race with his golden eyes. Only nobles from foxes race have golden eyes.

“Library” I answered plainly. Did not she hear I shouted just now? A deaf might be. I sarcastic inside my mind who will know. Thankfully Frina sleeping. If not he probably answered with her annoying giggles.

“Uhhh… No!! That totally not fun.. I dislike reading although I force to study. But, I want this cutie, though. Ughhh..” Although Nienie, I think mumbled toward herself but all of it I can hear.

“Nienie does you finish the assignment?” another girl, from wolf race came to approached us. She has silky long dark hair and the blue eyes which like the deep ocean. “Emm..mm, hi... Mafren..” her face turned crimson when she saw me. Her hands seem twitching, kind of disturbing me.

“Demia, what? What assignment?” Nienie glanced at Demia in confused.

“The one that Sir Fedha gave you.”

“Oh no. Really?!! I thought it supposes to send tomorrow. Help me!!” Nienie exclaimed in despaired and send a begging looked toward Demia. Demia shyly nodded.

“Sorry, Mafren! This is urgent. By the way, my name is Nienie Xalvas. Just call me Nienie.” Nienie said hurriedly and dashed outside the class. Demia bowed slightly toward us then, followed Nienie in her back.

“What is that?” I asked toward nobody. Elone looked blank. I gazed around, there were four girls who seem eager to approached us. Honestly, they looked really creepy, it really obvious. Two guys that seem to always glance at us and that also creepy.

I honestly wanted to run away from this place immediately. Why there are many people outside our class. So, I walked in fast speed with Elone, however, I think from Elone perspectives it not fast enough. Blame my short legs and my stamina. I wear the special logo that being given by Ailen. It really useful. All the students gave us the way and did not crowd at me. Although from most of their expression make me having the pink monster delusion. I avoid looking at them. If not, I might lose my tempered.

“Wow~ This is it!! Paradise~” I saw a five-floor building in dazed. The whole building are a library? I wanted to cry in joy. It really huge.

“Please came here to create your library card.” an old elf told me. Wow, I never thought I saw an elf since I never saw one before other than me myself.

“Oh.. Mist, huh? How is Rizel?”

“You know my dad?”

“Yes. But I mostly know your mother.” the old elf said. “Here” he gave the card to both Fren and Elone before explaining about each of the library floors.

“The five floor is forbidden place for every student and even teachers without the principal, vice principal or my permission. The fourth floor can only be entered by High Academy students in S-class along with all the teachers. Others than that are forbidden without permission. The third floor can be entered by the normal High Academy students with S-class Middle academy students. The second floor for Middle students. And lastly, the first floor for Lower academy students. If you want to find materials or books from the floors below. You can do that. Just do not go to the above the floor that you suppose to.”

“Oh.. Then, how I supposed to used this card.” I asked.

“When you touch or read a book, the card will automatically detect it and send the information toward my device. If the books were stolen or rip by or destroy by someone, I will immediately know if he or she have the cards. Besides, all the books are with at least a seal. Without the card, you cannot open it. Just put the card onto or in front of the book that you want. It will automatically be open. If you want to borrow the books, bring it here before taking it out. The stone puppet outside will slice anyone who stole the books when they found one.” the old elf said as he pointed toward the twelve stone puppet which in zodiac animals.

‘Wow, that really awesome.’ I thought to asked about my mom in this world but then dismissed it since the old elf seems to ignore me after that. Moreover, the recess will finish. There are time limits. I did not think I have time to search for books now with the size of this library. But, I still have time to watched around. Next time or maybe tomorrow I will go to this place again to borrow something.

I walked, sightseeing around. And then toward the second floor. Something caught our eyes. A girl who being crowded by four other girls. Is this what they mean by bullying? The girl who might be bullied was pushed by one of the girls and falls. She looked familiar.

“Stop flirting around. I hate someone like you that do not even know your own place.”

“Yeah, who else you want to manipulate huh? No wonder you manage to be adopted. I think you might the one who killed her right? You really a disgusting.”

I can hear they kept mocking and threatening the girl in a normal volume voice. Since there are only a little people in the library and the girls the back hidden corner of the library, no one realizes it.

“Hey, what are you doing?” all of them glance at Elone when he questioned them.

“WAhh... The new S class students.” one of the girl broke the silent and went she turned her gazed toward me, she quickly looking away.

“(hissed) We just teaching this girl some manner.” one of the arrogant snake girl answered.

“Let's go” one of the girls commanded.

“But…”

“You disobey me?”

“No.” the snake girl head drooped and apologized to the girl.

“Forgive me for this shameful sight of us. I am Wisteria De Mantria, one of your classmate. Please just forget what you just saw just now.

She then walked away with other girls. Before she disappears from our sight, I saw she winked at me with a smile? The girl who was bullied still there.

“Are you okay? You are the one name Fyra right?” Elone asked offering the girl his hand. She gazed both me and Elone, then staring at me strangely before she stands by herself. Then, she immediately ran away.

“Honestly…..” Elone paused as he a bit shock that the girl just leaves like that after slapped his hand away. Rejected.

“I know it is really rude.” I chuckled a bit. Then we continued to walk toward the third floor before went back to our class.

Somewhere around the academy

“The task. When will you accomplish it?” an unknown black hooded robe figure asked.

“In progress?” he or she answered uncertainly.

“Master commanded to work faster. It already two years and there is no progression at all.” the black figure said emotionless.

“It is not my fault. He was so distant. Even I talk to him, he keeps ignoring me. And that magic item. Even the library are being protected by an extremely strong invisible shield barrier! How I am supposed to know where is it” he or she grumbled and pouted. “Oh, by the way, there are two new students. One of them is really cute but powerful one from the Mist, the son of Almighty Dark Reaper, Rizel.”

The black figure smirk. “Interesting. Master will like this information. Try to find out about this new student and befriend with him and the boy too.” the black figure than disappearing in the smoke.

“ *Cough* *Cough* Cannot he just walk normally or disappear without all this *cough* thick smoke”
