Fren somehow felt like he forgotten something around this days. He himself did not know why. But, no matter how he tried, he still did not remember. In the end, he just dismissed the thought.

“Ven, what are staring at?” Fren asked Vendrick who keep staring toward the bushes outside the window.

“Hmm.. It is nothing. Maybe just my imagination…” Vendrick answered with an unsure expression.

“I am bored Ven, cannot you show me any other games that you know? And where is Elone?” said Fren who sitting while reading some thick history book. He still waiting for the new books to come tomorrow. For Fren books really interesting, much better than the books in Spirit Realm. Reading becomes his new hobby. He even managed to memorize almost all the books in the library. He really cannot wait for the new books. The history or legend story totally his favorite. He needs something to waste his free times. Teacher Mary also has something urgent to attend, cannot come to teach magic for a week along with his father. Rizel even forbade Fren to cast any magic without Teacher Mary or Rizel present.

“Elone has some tor-tutoring from Miklos, he will be back two days after. I do not know much about games. Hmm.. Do you want to learn the art of sword or martial art? I can teach you some for self-defense.” Ven said. Fren closed his book and walked outside the library with his mind linger around, thinking what should he do.

“No. I do not want to…” Fren answered slowly with his head shakes. He totally wants to avoid anything that involves fighting or practicing or training today.

“Okay,” Ven said a bit disappointed.

“I know. Let us go to the garden!!! I heard a maid found a fairy around that place!!! Today, we will have treasure hunt looking for a fairy!!” Fren exclaimed in delight and childish. Ven only nodded with a slight of smile. Fren really bipolar.

“Ven I wonder.. Is that a new gardener? I never saw him before..” Fren puzzled when he saw an unknown face of the gardener. The gardener with a blank expression bows a bit after he saw Fren.

“No. He already works in this garden for twenty years,”answered Vendrick.

“Ehhh.. Are you sure? I remember all the people in the Mist estate but I never saw him before..” Fren exclaimed in surprised. “What?? Where is he disappear?” Fren asked again.

“Who?” Vendrick questioned.

“The gardener of course,” Fren said.

“Huh? There is no gardener working today.” Vendrick said with a question mark on his face.

“Yes, there is. You just saw him with me just now” Fren twitched.

“Really? I do not think I saw any gardener.”

“Are you joking with me Ven? You just said the gardener already working for Mist Estate for twenty years.” Fren said with an annoyed expression.

“Sorry, Young Master. I did not remember that I say that,” said Vendrick who still looked confused. When Fren heard Ven answered that he know that Ven was not lying. But, he was irritated on what had happened. He really sure that he not dreaming or hallucination.

“Just forget it. I do not have any mood on to search for playing around now. Let return to the mansion.” said Fren seriously and a bit annoyed without his childish attitude and walked away.

But suddenly a few fireballs come out toward them. Vendrick hurriedly defense using his sword and holding Fren into his embraced to protect him. Fren was surprised.

“Are you okay, Young Master?” Vendrick asked in concern.

“I am okay. Why you did not chase whoever that attacked us?” Fren said, quickly pushed Vendrick away. He was totally embarrassed and trying to hide his emotion.

“I cannot sense anyone around…. We should immediately return. It seems the one who attacked us is quite an expert..”

“Hey.. What are you doing?!!”

“This way is more faster. Do not worry Young Master, you are not heavy”

“That is not the problem.. I can walk by myself,” Fren exclaimed toward the clueless Vendrick. He was mentally older and he never being treated like this before.

“No” Vendrick answered and moving in lightning fast while holding Fren in his arm. Fren struggles to protest but then giving up since it was useless.

Time skip, the next day

“This is troublesome. I still cannot detect who the one that trying to assassin Young Master… I fail” Vendrick mumbled alone in a dark depression aura. Even with many strong knights, a few Mages, and even shadow assassins, why no one can even trace or saw the person who managed to infiltrate the Mist estate. Vendrick mind wondered around. Why no one ever saw the person? He even manages to sneak attack Young Master three times even though it all fail.

“Young Master please wait here,” Vendrick said seriously and walked outside the room. He saw no one. No knights at all who suppose to watch them out outside. He saw a few trace of blood outside. He was uneasy.

“What wrong Ven?” asked Fren who still sleepy since it only 4 am.

“Do not come here Fren! Hide!!” said Vendrick in panicked.

“Huh?” Fren asked in confused. All of sudden a black hooded men with brown-grey wings appear in front of Vendrick.

“Move away from the Mist estate as fast as you can” the men commanded Vendrick. The men opened his eyes that shine in green then he closed his eyes again. Vendrick emotionless nodded, obeyed and vanished.

“Where are you going Ven? Who are you?!! What do you want?!!” Fren agitated and immediately cast a triple dark barrier around him. His special skill ‘To Be hidden’ totally useless since the men do not even need to see him.
