She woke up late because her alarm didn’t sound. Because she run to work, she forgot her wallet at home, so she didn’t have money to pay a bus, so, she had to walk. On her way, she step in a pond of water that was just cover enough to not notice, so she had to go to a convenience store to buy a new pair of socks.

When she finally arrived, late, to school, she forgot that she had a meeting with the other teachers and went straight to her class.

All in all, a really bad day.

“That’s weird, my horoscope said that today was a day of changes, not a bad day…” Though Alexadra.

As she was wondering how she was going to apologize to the director, she noticed a peculiar student that was waking on the hallway. She was looking at the other classes, weird enough, she only took a glance before she sighed and repeated the process.

“What is Samantah doing?” Though Alexandra.

She was quite the famous student now, between all the reports about her abusive father and the fact that she become a millionaire from one day to the next, she was the topic of talk.

Alexandra didn’t though much, she just felt bad that such a young child had to endure such abuse.

“Samantha, be careful when you walk”

“Miss Alex, do you know about the game of Osiris?”

“The game of Osiris?” Though Alex.

“No, never heard of it”

“It’s a very… special game, specially who people like you” Said Samantha.

“People like me? What exactly about me?”

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

Samantha smiled innocently.

“People who have rage on their hearts”

Alexandra was confused.

“Angry? Me? Do I look angry?” Asked Alexandra with a wryly smile.

“I know… you are very angry…much like me” Said Samantha.

She took out a draw from her pocket and gave it to Alexandra.

“At midnight, draw this circle in you palm, go to a room without windows and sat in front of a mirror and said in loud voice ´The wrath of the corrupted souls, shall have their justice´, after that. Turn off the lights and wait, he shall hear your pledge”

“He? Who is he?”

“You will know, I have to go now, bye bye~!”

Samantha left the place, leaving only the confused teacher, pondering what to do in this situation.

……………………….

It was late at night when Alexandra arrived home, she could finally relax after getting a whole afternoon of scolding because of her lateness.

“It wasn’t my day” She though.

She went to her fridge and grabbed some food from the day before and heat them up.

With a coke, she turned on the TV and began to eat her meal.

“Blessings” She said.

In front of her, standing on the other side of the table, a picture could be seeing.

It was a picture of her in her school days, just went she was going to go to college, she was smiling at the camera doing a v-pose. At her side, a young man with glasses could be seeing, he was smiling shyly, his color hair as well as his eyes were light brown, the same as Alexandra.

“…”

Looking at the picture, Alendra continued eating her meal.

“In other news, another case of bullyin, a young teenager with the initials RAC, tried to commit suicide in her school by jumping from the fifth floor, fortunately the paramedics managed to save her. Her teachers say that they didn’t know about the suppose bullying-”

Alexandra turned off the TV.

She took her plate to the sink and went to take a bath.

She turned into her pajamas and was ready to put her clothes to wash went a paper fell from her pocket.

Looking at the strange circle in the paper, Alexandra remembered the words of Samantha.

“Osiris’s game….”

………………………

It was past almost midnight.

In a dark room without windows, Alexandra looked at the big mirror in front of her.

“What am I doing?” She though.

Nevertheless, she still grabbed her pencil and draw the mark in her right hand.

When her clock marked midnight, she took a deep breath and say…

“The wrath of the corrupted souls, shall have their justice”

She waited and waited…

After a couple of seconds, she saw that nothing happened.

She sighed and stood up.

“What was I waiting?”

“Did you call me?”

As she was reflecting on her actions, a voice interrupted her train of thoughts.

She looked back and saw a pair of red eyes, looking at her from the other side of the mirror.
