Ch.1

The sky was pitch black, and It was currently snowing. Two humans could be seen darting across a snowy landscape surrounded by massive trees. The lead human was middle-aged and a male, while the other was a youngster and a boy. Even though the snowfall had accumulated quite heavily, neither swift movements were hampered by the snowfall. The youngster's eyes sparkled, and he stared ahead, his hands clenching in anticipation.

The youngster, In particular, held many secrets on him, the greatest of them was he had lived previously, although he couldn't remember his relatives, nor did his lack of memory of his loved ones bother him; he did remember a great many important things, for example, he once lived on earth, and he had acquired skills that were quite deadly their but made him more fatal still here.

This world was called Paradise. Not because of its beautiful lush environment, It's two suns nor the three moons or even its many great bodies of water, and this world was many times grandiose than three Earth'scombine, it was called such a boisterous name simply because Paradise was considered a Peak-higher world, even in this ancient universe, not many mortal worlds could hold such a name. Mortal Worlds were rated as lower, middle, higher, and Grand. The worlds were placed on the purity of a mysterious kind of essence present in all worlds in the vast universe. This mysterious energy was called Elemental Essence.

Paradise was a higher world, which meant that elemental essence was extremely high. The dwellers of a world with a higher concentration of the fundamental substance, which included demonic-beasts and numerous humanoid races, could practice the art of Cultivation and challenge the heavens.

Cultivators could gain incredible power by overcoming the limitation of their bodies and soul by practicing the mysterious art of cultivation. In worlds with elemental essence, only personal strength determines one standing, including right or wrong, and life and death matter. These cultivation worlds weren't Earth; there weren't inherent human rights, not we're their great men that preached peace and togetherness, there was only the survival of the fittest.

The youngster understood that more than others, his journey here was because of the strong pressuring the weak. The youngster helmed from the earth, and his previous upbringing was of the world; though he understood that this wasn't earth, there wasn't the law, not they're their judge or jury, there was only prey and predators. This place was the Eclipse Snow Taiga. It was formerly the most awe-inspiring place in Paradise because of the perpetual darkness that permeated the forest. The demonic-beast that lurked in its depths made this one of the many forbidden zones of Paradise.

The Eclipse Taiga was home to a large number of demonic entitles. Animals that could cultivate were called demonic beasts. Unlike Earth, this world had an abundant amount of elemental essence, and this energy affected its inhabitants. The biological life on this planet Wasn't so distant from the earth, and animals evolved in the presence of elemental essence. Even the most miniature animals were deadly, some even big as a humanoid. This world also had animals that never existed or were possibly were extinct on Earth.

"Sebastian, are we there yet?" The youngster projected with boundless enthusiasm. The youngster was named Leo. This was his first time leaving his town and the first time he would be alone without any helpers. See, Leo is the grandson of clan ancestor, third son of the Patriarch, and nephew of the clan protector, which is its Grand Elder. Many hopes and dreams were placed upon his shoulder after birth by his clan. Still, there is a problem, and he had to prematurely stop his martial awakening, which caused the family, which was the main branch, incredible shame, and difficulties.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Almost young master, " Replied Sebastian." He was the third young master unofficial soldier; as rouge cultivators without clans, becoming soldiers for families wasn't frowned upon; it was a prestigious position. The two traveled a few more hours, breaking every hour to allow Leo to rest. After that, He stopped before a massive tree with a sword pierced at its base. He regarded his nephew without any emotion.

"This is the place, " said Sebastian, young master, I'm afraid I cannot go further."

His thirteen years of life have been him accumulating to this world. He only met his father and mother once during the clan-wide awakening ceremony. In the beginning, they smiled and looked at him encouragingly; that changed once he failed. After that, the way they could treat him changed, the essence rich beast food stopped, his maids and helpers were called back; it was just him and Sebastian.

He turned and bowed low toward the man. "Thank you, Sir Sebastian," said Leo. He reacted quickly. "No young master, you're an heir to an ancient clan, don't lower your head." Young master, I was once in your situation. As a rogue cultivator, one had to endure great hardship to forcefully awake one martial spirit, " he smiled down at the youngster. In a year ill be here waiting on you. I have faith in your success."

Clans would take their children to forests to hunt demonic-beasts when they stepped into the mortal-earth realm, and this was the realm to learn what Martial spirit one has. This was an essential Realm for all youngsters as it marked the start of their life as martial artists. "Hopefully, in a year, when I return ill see you here. Take these supplies with you. Also, optimize the use of your soul-sense usage. It could be a matter of life in death in forests, even greater danger in a forbidden zone such as this. Let me explain some more areas to you, young master." Sebastian began his lecture.

Soul-sense was an essential ability which all martial artists acquired starting from the Mortal Soldier realm onwards. In the mortal soldier realm, it was taxing to use without regard to one essence; only in the martial lord realm would the draw on essence decrease to minimal. Soul-sense works like a radar which lets a martial artist see his surroundings better and detect abnormalities in the surroundings. Cultivators could avoid sneak attacks if their soul senses were activated during the assault. So, the importance could be understood and not able to underestimated. If both parties use soul-sense in a fight, the stronger soul will come out on top.

The martial path is deemed endless. In Paradise, a martial artist could only traverse the military path up to a specific realm, Mortal Emperor. Paradise is a high order mortal world, and if one wishes to advance beyond mortal realms, then they will have to ascend to a divine world as Paradise lacks the resources and essence required to cultivate beyond mortal realms of the martial path.

The martial path was vast, the known realms of mortal and immortal. They were as follows, awakening realm, mortal/immortal soldier, human/eternal elite realm, mortal/immortal lord realm, mortal/immortal baron realm, mortal/immortal king realm, mortal/immortal emperor realm, mortal/immortal sage realm, mortal/immortal saint realm. Breakthroughs Inside the sub realm along the martial path increased one strength and lifespan significantly. Depending on bloodlines and martial spirits, one lifespan could be improved by thousands of years in each domain. Sub-realms were divided into three stages early, mid, and peak. A martial artist needs to ascend to a higher world to traverse along the military path.

His eyes were filled with vigor and burning desire to depart on his predestined journey. After hearing Sebastian explanation his fighting spirit soared. But, it vanished soon after, as the realization of him having to camp and survive inside a forbidden forest for a year. He could leave, abandon the clan, this method allowed clans to let their sons and daughter a chance, or way out. He scanned around the dark forest, he could hear demonic beast roars and battles, a large bird flew above, it's shadows darkening the already lightless area. Paradise was a marvel, but he couldn't be careless, his life was on the line, he was only in the awakening realm, the beast inside could be inside the martial soldier realm alongside the edges, further inside, being ambushed by a slider realm beast wasn't out of the question, the middle region... Let's not even imagine.
