Sebastian stood from his crouch. He turned his hand over, and a small grey ring was in his palm. "This space ring was handed to me by your brother; please take it." He fawned and turned around to depart. Leo's eyes burned in excitement; space rings were rare; even inside his large clan, there were only a few.
This was his first time in the Eclipse taiga, so its magnificence was bound to mesmerize him. He is a reborn soul, and from Earth, such a splendid sight was not ordinary. 'I've located the perfect beast to continue your awakening, that's if you are done gawking, ' boomed the humorous voice. Leo chuckled at the voice. He continues to use his soul sense; one of the great mysteries he held was his bizarre, unique soul; if other martial cultivators' souls were a lake, he was an ocean, and it was still growing. He also could use it differently; he, not the inhabitant inside of him, knew a concrete why. Leo's soul-sense pulsed outward, like a bat or dolphin back home; he was using it as echolocation; not only did it breathy reduce his essence drain, it also allowed him to continue using it without third parties knowing. With this, he was effectively hard to assassinate or ambush.
The 'inhabitant' inside his soul was his martial spirit. The spirit didn't mind the boy reverie and just smiled. Cultivator's eyes were the window to their soul. Cultivators' souls were similar to the outside, depending on the attributes of the spirit; the region it resided in was their home and where the martial spirit was cultivated. Humanoid races in any world with an ample amount of elemental essence would acquire martial spirits. No one knew what Martial Spirits were; some suspected martial spirits were former great fallen experts, not even martial spirits knew of their origins like the humanoid; martial spirits had to cultivate as well. Instead of increasing one realm, martial spirits are nurtured to unlock their innate abilities and other skills unique to the soul.
It was universally understood that without martial spirits, humanity wouldn't have survived against the other races. Society lacked innate strength like the beast race of the elven and lesser fae races. Martial spirit functioned like a medium between the martial artist and the elemental essence in the surrounding. Martial spirits could take on the appearance of almost anything in the galaxy. Some. Each martial spirit possessed an element or elements, like fire, water, earth, air, poison, lightning, Thunder, light, darkness, and a myriad of lesser and more outstanding features.
Martial spirit could only act as a medium between the cultivator and the elemental essence of the same element. Consequently, humanity could only absorb the fundamental nature of the same elements as his martial spirit.
Leo suddenly appeared within his inner-soul or soul world. Besides the martial spirit, another unique thing resided, it was one core, it was similar to the moon or sun in the outside world, cultivator essence they absorb from the heavens and the earth would saturate the soul world, making it no different than garden or forest or many other manifestations. Leo's soul world, better yet, the region he appeared in, exuded boundless gloominess and evil energies; if one lacking defenses had appeared here, they would be instantly assaulted with ghastly illusions and bizarre thoughts; one could quickly become mental from being here.
The core in his soul world churned as Leo walked into the darkness; suddenly, a figure that only had half its body visible could be seen. It was a humanoid martial spirit, another great secret of his. Humanoid martial spirits we're almost unheard of, that was because a humanoid martial spirit could unlock innate memories and hold galaxy-spanning secrets inside the seals' places upon its body by the divine law. The humanoid martial spirit had dark grey skin, which resembled a corpse, but one could see some life in the dead-like appearance. The humanoid opened its eyes; they were dazzling rubies that would make one mesmerized. The spirit smirked, showcasing prominent canines. Leo martial spirit was a humanoid vampire, and any vampire either; this one was a Lord, its bloodline was primordial, its line was once called undying.
"Dante, what's our next move." He said as he came to stand next to the man as shadows moved around him. Dante noticed this and made a gesture causing the clouds to flow away but soon return and encompassed the boy.
Leo chuckled at their playful spirit. "Master, your darkness attainment has increased." Stated Dante.
He nodded. "Thanks to you, Dante. My attainment in fundamental laws is on par with a late elite realm practitioner. " He shook his head somberly. "I wouldn't dare boast in front of you, my benefactor." He said with humility, unbefitting his apparent age...

Dante regarded the boy before him with keen interest. He was fortunate to be awakened in such a marvelous soul; not only did he know some things about what could have caused his death, but he also knew that within the boy soul world was a great many mysteries. These mysteries would allow him to reach unattainable heights. His image of the boy swelled, and he redoubled his initial thoughts; he would help this boy with whatever he so desired. Dante's coy smile departed, and he became serious. Leo knew when Dante got like this; then he was immediately beginning to explain the intricacies of the situation.
Most of humanity was able to awaken their martial spirits without any problem, but some won't ever awaken them throughout their entire lives. Leo clan placed him in that category, which was why he found himself left in danger zone. Through outside stimuli, blood, and the prospect of death one could forcefully awaken their spirit. He was in a conundrum, he already awakened a martial spirit, yet he had failed to awaken three others. That's correct, Leo was a never before seen quadruple martial spirit cultivator, his future could be said to be endless based on Dante presence alone, just imagine three additional spirits.
Once a child awakens his martial spirit, he steps into the awakening realm. Which allowed one to began to form a soul core inside their soul world. Upon meeting the two requirements one would advance to the mortal-soldier realm. Leo technically did meet the requirements yet he had parts of his soul world that were clearly places where slumbering spirits resided. Luckily, Dante had unlocked an innate ability early on, it was the ability to bolster his martial artists' blood. Humans also held bloodlines, he diagnoses the boy problem being based on his interior lineage. Leo soul being unique could be gathered, he was a reincarnation, which made his soul vastly different and stronger than others three to four realms above him, it was a pity he couldn't use his soul as a weapon until the Lord realm. The plan was for Leo to hunt demonic beasts and absorb their hearts blood and directly eat the core of the beat, which would instantly kill most humans, but with Dante's help, he had nothing to worry about. This would allow him to awaken his other spirit and solved his situation.
Leo's eyes opened as he left his inner world. He needs to remain around the edge of the danger zone. He could only attend with early soldier realm beasts. The awakening realm and soldier realm were equally known as foundation realms. The combat power of the martial artist would be increased exponentially upon using spirit power. Using the spiritual power of Dante would allow him to battle the soldier realm beast when he was bodily inside the awakening realm, upon advancing to the soldier realm his body strength would become almost herculean to what it is now.
He understood that his remaining advancement will require Him to gain insight and increase his understanding of the elemental laws of his martial spirit to a certain degree before he could break through to the next sub realm. Cultivator breakthrough speed depended on their martial spirit. Cultivator with greater insight and a better understanding of his or her martial spirit elemental laws would have a higher combat power compared to martial artists with lower understanding and insights into elemental laws. The insights and understanding of elemental laws gained by a martial spirit were automatically gained and understood by the martial artists
Leo figure flickered throughout the danger zone. The snowfall had doubled, he could tell a story was brewing and the region difficulty would intensify. He had two missions, one was to discover a suitable weapon to be wielded by him, he checked the space ring, and discovered many weapons that could become his first core-weapon or even a living weapon. He could only wonder if he would have a martial spirit in the shape of a weapon. Cultivators that have martial spirits in the shape of weapons could wield them like a normal weapon or even fuse their martial spirits with weapons of a similar category, like sword martial spirits adorning other treasured swords.
Core weapon we're weapons that were bolstered by martial artists core, they could be placed as taken out, even replaced, and in some cased broken weapon could even recuperate once places inside. Life weapons we're similar but vastly different since it grows alongside the martial artist in strength. Like martial spirits, life weapons could gain powerful abilities as its holder continues to increase in strength and realm.
Martial artists with weapon shaped spirits held a very high talent in wielding the weapon in that category that their martial spirit resembled, which made learning weapon intent infinitely smoother. Leo held a humanoid spirit, his spirit had experiences which were sealed, because of this humanoid sports could also be experts in a number of professions which would allow one to have a smoother path them others. In extremely rare cases, a martial artist would have his martial spirit in the shape of a humanoid. Certain types of humanoid martial spirits were able to increase the weapon-wielding capabilities.
Suddenly, Leo's body flickered backward and his hand materialized a saber, he swept it before him in an arc. Ping! His arm vibrated as if he hit a rock. He moved back as the attacker of his became visible.
"Master, this demonic beast works in conjecture with others." Warned Dante. He soon unleashed his soul sense and discovered other beats circling him. He clicked his tongue. Without his special soul since he was certain he would have liked unknowingly.
