Quickly regaining her bearings the queen rose to her feet and gave the order to Vulcan to check in on the soldiers and calculate the losses, fixing the newcomer with a stare she asked him in a level voice "thank you for your assistance, your arrival was quite timely. Speak to Vulcan about your reward, in the meantime" her eyes lowered to his penis dangling between his legs "let's find you some clothes"
Looking down at himself the man looked to the body of the unconscious mage, walking towards the body he began stripping him down leaving only his underwear and shirt. Sliding into the dark gray pants and tying and fastening the string to keep it up he then proceeded to put on the black robe but left it to hang on his shoulders making it look more like a cloak.
Turning back to face the queen who had been watching the process with her unwavering gaze, he nodded to her to continue, receiving the go ahead the queen continued speaking "now that that is taken care of I would once again like to request your assistance but before that would you mind telling me your name?" as soon as the man opened his mouth to reply a sharp shooting pain assaulted his brain, clutching the sides of his head the man doubled over groaning in pain.
A few moments passed with him groaning through clenched teeth before the pain finally subsided and what remained was a memory, a memory of a middle-aged man with graying hair with his hand on a glass window he was trapped behind. He remembered the feeling of the glass cracking as his fist pounded against it, he remembered the confusion and anger he felt upon waking up in such a confined space with hundreds of needles embedded under his skin but most importantly he remembered hearing a voice through the glass soothing him saying "Peace, Helios. The sooner you calm down the sooner you can leave"
After that the memories stopped abruptly and he realized he was kneeling on the floor with the queen staring at him with narrowed eyes "are you okay?" she asked in a threatening tone which seemed to suggest if the answer was anything other than yes his life would be forfeit, "Helios" was his reply which left the queen in confusion "Is that your name?" she asked with uncertainty "I....I think so" he replied as he shakily got to his feet.
Taking deep breaths, he calmed down and the shaking stopped "Are you in good enough condition to continue fighting?" the queen asked, opening and closing his fist Helios gave a simple nod causing the Queen to smile slightly "I would like to request your aid in cleaning up the remaining invaders. Of course, you would be rewarded handsomely for your service"
Helios, hearing he was going to be paid for his service grinned savagely and without saying a word he leaped off the floor and shot out the hole in the ceiling which his container entered through, the queen's eyes remained fixated on the hole he exited before she herself dashed out of the throne room through what remained of the doorway.
-----Helios's POV-----
I felt anger coursing through my entire being as I recalled the feeling of the needles forcing their way further into my body, soaring through the air I circled around to the front of the building I just came out of which from this altitude looked like a castle. Its exterior was just like its interior, a smooth material with white as the base color and at the foot of the snow colored.......snow? I can't help but feel like I should know what that is.

As I was pondering on why the word seemed so familiar, I felt something collide against the back of my head, caressing the spot where I felt the collision I turned around in time to see a torrent of arrows shooting towards me.
Taking a dive to avoid the arrows I caught sight of a group of soldiers fighting against what can only be described as an abomination, what looked like the lovechild of a very depraved man and an innocent cow........or a poor woman and a horny bull?
The cow man held a giant mallet in his hands and was in the middle of his swing before I appeared directly in front of the soldiers and caught the mallet with both hands as it came down. My feet sank into the ground from the sheer force of the swing, flying up into the air I ripped the weapon out of the creature's hands.
I spun mid-air and released the mallet in the direction of the creature, the mallet struck the side of its face and launched it off the ground.
Blood flew through the air following the airborne body of the monster and I flew after it and grabbed its leg with both hands, with minimal effort I threw it into a group of others of its kind.
Diving into the midst of the group I grab a giant mallet laying on the floor and began swinging, smashing skulls and causing limbs to bend in unnatural ways......or natural ways seeing as they are not human.
Dashing to another group of men in black armor with horned helmets, I punched the leading soldier in the face and felt his skull cave under my fist.
The rest of his companions were dealt with in a similar fashion, continuing through the remaining monsters who soon realized attacking the castle any further would prove fruitless, retreated.
I flew back into the sky to give chase but before I could advance the queen's voice rang out; "Helios, don't!" I looked to the queen and then to the retreating army and struggled internally briefly before landing softly on the ground.
Although I am not a believer in letting one's enemies live I am not one who forces my ideals upon others and event though I would not have been able to get all I could have thinned their numbers out so as to buy some time for the queen to assemble more soldiers.
Walking slowly towards the queen and her entourage, I see out the corner of my eye the group of soldiers who I saved earlier from the cow man, I made a mental note to check up on them later.
As I arrived before the queen she immediately began speaking "I must thank you for the aid Helios, if you were not here then I'm afraid the kingdom may have fallen in the hands of Duncan" hearing that name Vulcan grimaced before his face quickly returned to its previous pondering expression.
I could see there was a story behind the two but it really was not my concern so I just left it be. The Queen went on to say that I should stick around for my reward, I agreed to the proposal seeing as I had nowhere to go, I was broke and I had no idea where here was.
Since I would be staying here for a while then I might as well speed things along by helping rebuild the houses for the citizens which were damaged or utterly obliterated.
