The day for the competition between Vill-City Junior High School and Vill College had finally arrived. Everyone and everything was set, with parents coming to watch their kids and the McCoy family, including Peter, Rita, Mark, and their little sister Sophie, waving at them from the crowd.
Both cheerleading squads displayed their talents to support their respective teams, and when the opponents arrived, they shook hands and got ready for the match. Tyson scratched his nose while looking at the timer, while Peter stared at their coach, who whispered some words in lip sync that Peter understood. She shook her head in confidence of her team.
Then, the match began, and the two teams went at it with both having good defenses. Vill College's coach approached Coach Bridgette to talk about Peter McCoy, who had scored in just under ten seconds of the game.
"That kid has some sweet footwork," said Vill College's coach to get Coach Bridgette's attention. "Who is he?" Vill College's coach asked.
"He's the top dog on the team," replied Coach Bridgette.
"Hmm," said Vill College's coach. "Are you sure he's a student here? He plays like a pro."
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Coach Bridgette.
"I trained them," replied coach Bridgette.
Despite Vill College having the majority of chances, the match was exclusive, and they were unable to score against Vill-City Junior High School's exquisite tactics. The teams took a break for the second half to begin after Peter scored the last shot of the first round.
They celebrated their first victory with their coach, who encouraged them to never let their guard down, despite their victory.
"Good job, team, but it ain't over until it's over," said Coach Bridgette. "You really make me proud, and damn, you've made your school proud."
Their cheerleaders jubilated for them: "Go Vill-City High! Go Vill-City High! Go! Go! Go! Go! Vill-City High!"
The cheerleaders were all amazing in their costumes, especially Rita and Debbie. Rita winked at her siblings, Peter and Mark, while Debbie blew a kiss to Peter, which gave him more morale in the game.
Meanwhile, the other team was lagging behind badly without any goals. Their coach encouraged them to take matters into their own hands to win the game, whatever means they can. He also gave them two specific targets, the McCoys, as they were the breadwinners of their team.
"Is that understood?" asked the Vill College coach.
"Yes, sir!" they all yelled.
The Vill College coach then turned to their cheerleaders and yelled at them to cheer up for their team. Most of them grudgingly did and murmured with their body language and attitude, showing signs of dissatisfaction.
They began playing their second half, and this time Vill College meant business. They were pretty rough on Vill-City Junior High School players. And as if things weren't bad enough, the Vill College coach wouldn't let his team lose. He even bribed the referee for any circumstances that might arise in the game.
Vill College players specifically targeted Mark and Peter and weren't playing fair. One of Vill-City Junior High School's players passed the ball, but it was pushed aside by Vill College players who got the ball from him and scored in the net. Their aggressiveness in the game was very unbecoming and upsetting. Even the crowd could see the unfair game. Coach Bridgette had to yell at the referee for not seeing the foul play of Vill College players on their teammates.
When the ball went out and was to be passed by a vill-city junior high school player, Tyson and Jerry had to defend their team. The game was tied and the die was cast. The countdown began from five seconds when Peter focused all his attention on the game. He wasn't going to use the Ultra AI at his disposal to win the game.
"Just one shot into the net!" yelled the fidgeting Coach Bridgette. "We can do this!"
For a moment, everything was calm and peaceful as the vill-city junior high school cheerleaders chanted their slogans of victory and encouragement to their team. Peter witnessed everything happening in slow motion as the ball was passed to him.
Then, everyone froze. Only Peter was unfrozen in time, and he could move around as time had stopped.
"Ultra AI. Did you do this?" asked Peter.

"Affirmative, Peter McCoy. You have every right to make use of me, but you decided not to," replied Ultra AI. "I've seen the outcome of your game, and you would probably not have won even if vill college never played fair. They still would be given the trophy. Your zeal for your team is remarkable, but this is bigger than you guys. If you lost to vill college, which they never deserved in the first place, they would still get the trophy. Consider this as a free courtesy from me to your team. It's our little secret."
And then time unfroze for everyone as the countdown continued from where it had stopped seconds earlier. Peter was about to score and realized something when he passed the ball to Mark to get the last shot at victory.
"Mark!" said Peter, calling out to him as the ball was passed. "Boomerang!"
When Mark was cornered at three seconds left, he did the boomerang shot immediately, which gave them their victory shot at the final countdown. Vill college coach, the audience, and spectators couldn't believe that the awesome shot was possible at that last countdown, and vill-city junior high school was declared the winner of the game.
"Impossible!" said the vill college coach.
Coach Bridgette was very excited about their victory as she rubbed it in the face of the Vill College coach. Debbie ran to Peter and gave him a warm and passionate hug, while Rita also congratulated Mark. The entire team celebrated in jubilation. When the winning cup was handed to them, Mark asked Peter why he gave him the ball when he had the opportunity to be the hero of the team.
"Sometimes everyone deserves victory," replied Peter, as they shook hands like bros. The winning cup was then handed to Mark, who raised it up for the crowd to see. Mark's family, including Jenna, saw it and blew a kiss to him and their babies. Mark was then carried up like a king by his teammates in jubilation of their victory.
"Thank you, Ultra AI," said Peter to himself telepathically.
"You're welcome, Peter McCoy," replied Ultra AI telepathically.
Peter later spoke with Coach Bridgette about the gym exercise before the competition, which was to test their agility and abilities in the game, including Tyson's humiliation.
"That's right, kiddo. You're one smart kid," replied Coach Bridgette. "You all made me proud."
It was a Saturday noon, and Peter had plans for a romantic date with Debbie, which he had informed his family about.
"I see my boy has become a man," said Mason with a smile. Jenna gave him a kiss on the cheek as he walked out the door and headed straight to Debbie's home. He stood at the door and waited patiently when he pressed the doorbell. He was greeted by a manservant who offered him a seat and informed Debbie of his arrival.
After a few seconds, Debbie arrived gorgeously from the stairs in a beautiful blue gown, wearing an expensive diamond necklace, which dropped Peter's jaw wide open.
"I'm ready, Peter," Debbie said.
"You look amazing, Debbie," said Peter, complimenting her appearance.
"Thanks!" replied Debbie with a smile. "Hope it's not too much."
"It's perfect!" Peter replied, as they walked out the door opened by the manservants.
They went on an exciting date. They visited the most beautiful places in Vill-city and Vill-city high, went to the water park, and had fun together. They went to the movies and saw some romantic and erotic movies, holding hands in the theater. Some couples were making out too in the cinema.
Debbie and Peter gisted all day, took photos and selfies together, went sky diving, sea diving, sailing, their connection stronger, and their bond unbreakable. They enjoyed each other's company, and it was very romantic and fun. Towards the evening, they ate at the most expensive five-star hotel.
Debbie stared into Peter's eyes with a smile and took him by the hand with a warm gesture. "I love you, Peter," said Debbie.
"I love you, Debbie," replied Peter.
As they drew closer to each other, they both shared the most beautiful smooch ever, so romantic, and while this was happening, an unidentified object made its way into Earth's atmosphere and exploded in the ocean, causing a massive shockwave.
Later in the evening, they called it a day as Peter walked Debbie home. It was a remarkable date, and as she climbed the stairs, she turned aside to stare at Peter before running towards him and gave him a deep kiss. "Goodnight, Peter," said Debbie with a smile as the door was opened for her by a manservant. Peter smiled and walked home happily.
He got home excited, and everyone was fast asleep except Rita. When he was about to enter his room, Rita caught up to him. "How'd it go?" asked Rita.
"It was perfect," replied Peter with a smile.
"I know!" replied Rita, who entered her room before saying goodnight to Peter.
The next day, there was a big celebration held at the ocean for some random people. There was merriment in the air when a huge object was thrown out of the ocean and crash-landed on the surface, seemingly targeting the people. Most people sustained injuries, some died, while a few were unharmed. Those who watched from the ocean saw pale human-like creatures emerging from the object.
The sight left most people helter-skelter while some watched in despair. Some of the pale creatures could fly, while some couldn't. They were horrifying to look upon with their sharp razor fangs and claws. Some had gills while some didn't. Their leader was escorted by two of his trusted guards, a male and a female, who were in possession of tridents.
The leader descended from the sky and delivered a devastating message to the surface dwellers. During his ongoing speech and threatening messages, someone from the party recognized him as one of the missing persons the ocean carried. As he spoke, he struck the person with lightning from his hands, which vaporized him into nothingness.
The Vill City Police Force (VCPF) arrived at the scene within minutes to witness the incident. Without hesitation, they evacuated the premises and began opening fire at the pale creatures. However, the bullets had no effect on them. The leader hit his trident on the ground to cause the VCPF to lose their balance as he passed on his message. He introduced himself and his followers as the Oceanians.
The leader said, "People of the surface dwellers, I am Marine King of the Oceanians. Your world has polluted our very home with its wasteland. Let this be a warning to your kind, and if it ever repeats itself, I won't be so merciful when I bring with me the wrath of the seven seas."
Suddenly, after delivering his warnings to the surface dwellers, a massive monster showcased its enormous tentacles from the ocean, and the people watched in dismay. Then, the Oceanians retreated back into the sea.
