Since the house is old and rundown, there are many leakages in the ceiling. The kids dig holes in the ground, which are camouflaged by a thin layer of leaves arranged on the surrounding mud, leaving the holes themselves still exposed. When it rains, the water is stored in these holes.
“These kids are very smart,” thought Knox, while looking at the few holes on the floorless ground inside the house.
She slowly walked toward one of the holes and started drinking the water, moving her mouth close to the hole since she didn't want to waste a single drop. There was a chance that water would leak if she drank using any other means except directly through her mouth.
Seeing this reminded him of his childhood and moved him to tears.
He turned to look at his guards and signaled them to wait for him outside. Then he slowly walked toward the door. When he reached it, he raised his hand to knock.
After a few seconds, the door was slightly opened, and a small head peeked out and looked around. It was the little girl. She caught sight of Knox standing in front of the door.
She opened the door and stepped out with a stern gaze that rarely appears on a child's face. “Who are you? What do you want?”
Knox glanced at the little girl and the little boy standing behind her and asked, “I'm hungry. Do you have something to eat?”
While the little girl hesitated on what to say, the little boy stepped forward, tore a small piece of moldy bread, and extended his hand to Knox.
She wanted to stop her brother from giving away his food, but she stopped herself after thinking for a moment. Knox reached out to take the piece of bread with a bright smile on his face and moved his hand close to his mouth to eat it.
“Your Majesty,” all the guards said in a low voice while taking a step forward.
Knox frowned and signaled them to stay where they were with his finger. He turned to look at the kids and said, while taking a bite of the piece of moldy bread, “Thanks for the bread. It is so tasty.”
“Hmm,” the two kids nodded their heads and turned around to walk back into their house.
“Wait…” said Knox.
“Hmm?” Both of them turned to look at him with questioning gazes.

“I have an orphanage in the capital. How about you two join in? They will provide three meals a day, and they also provide clothes and beds,” asked Knox with a gentle gaze.
When they heard they could eat three meals a day, both of them widened their eyes, and the little boy even started to drool from the corners of his mouth. Having one meal a day was a luxury to both of them, but having three meals a day was just a dream come true.
“Is it true? Why would they provide us with meals, clothes, and beds for free?” the little girl asked with a doubtful gaze.
“Oh, yeah, they don't have any orphanages in this world, right?” Knox thought for a moment and said, “It is a charity. Not just you two; they provide free meals, clothes, and beds to every child in and around the capital.”
“If you have friends, you can bring them with you too,” said Knox.
“Really?” exclaimed the little girl with an excited look on her face.
“Yes,” Knox nodded his head while his lips curled up into a smile.
The little girl ran away from that place with an excited look on her face while holding her brother's hand. Knox glanced at the disappearing siblings and moved towards his guards.
“Your Majesty,” all the guards bowed their heads respectfully when Knox approached them.
Knox glanced at them and said, “I want a huge hall that can temporarily accommodate more than 500 kids right away. Also, remind the royal builders to build the orphanage for more than 1,000 kids as soon as possible. The building has to be finished within three months.”
“As you ordered, Your Majesty,” said the guard while bowing his head and hurriedly walking away towards his steed.
Knox glanced at the remaining guards with a frown and said, “What are you all doing standing there? Go, follow him, and finish my orders as soon as possible.”
“Yes, Your Majesty,” more than half of the guards said in unison and hurriedly walked away, trailing behind the first guard.
After a few minutes, the siblings came back with a group of orphans wearing tattered clothes, with dirt and mud all over their bodies.
Knox turned to look at the remaining guards, and one of the guards stepped forward, “Book a huge bathhouse in the capital and also book a whole restaurant.”
The previous owner of his body used his power to do bad things, but as the current owner, he is going to correct all the wrongdoings and keep using his power to do good from now on.
“Yes, Your Majesty,” the guard bowed his head and hurriedly walked away.
Knox nodded his head, turned to look at the siblings and orphans, and said, “Let's clean up and have a big meal. Do you all have any issues with it?”
“No…we don't have any,” said all the kids in unison with excited looks on their faces.
“Then let's go,” said Knox, signaling his guards. They understood his signal and hurriedly moved away. Knox slowly trailed behind with the siblings and orphans.
After a few minutes, they all stepped out of the slum area. The guards were sweating profusely as they arranged huge carriages to carry all the orphans.
All the carriages moved towards the nearby bathhouse that was booked by Knox for the orphans. After a few minutes, they reached the bathhouse, which was completely empty and huge enough to accommodate all the orphans.
All the orphans looked around while walking into the bathhouse carefully, so they wouldn't dirty this very neat and clean place.
