Tyranny Of The Crazy King
Do you think his craziness is gone?

Do you think his craziness is gone?

“How far is the building of temporary shelters completed?” asked Knox while looking at the guards.

“Your majesty, we have completed building all the temporary shelters, and the orphans are taking rest inside them,” said a guard while bowing his head.

“Hmm,” Knox nodded.

Suddenly, a guard came running to him. “Ha… ha… your majesty,” called the guard while wiping the sweat from his forehead. He took a deep breath and continued, “The owner of the large inn in the capital died.”

“It's Vikram,” thought Knox. He asked the guard, “Oh, do you know who killed the owner of that large inn?”

“Your majesty, investigations are still ongoing,” said the guard in an anxious voice.

“Okay, immediately pass the details to me after the investigation is finished,” said Knox in a stern tone.

“As you command, your majesty,” said the guard while bowing and walking away without showing his back to the king.

Knox went to check out the temporary shelters. As he approached, all the guards immediately bowed. Before they could greet him, Knox signaled them to stay silent with his eyes and moved forward.

He entered one shelter after another to check how they were built and if they were comfortable for the kids. He nodded with satisfaction after checking all the shelters.

Siblings came and stood in front of him. He moved close to them, bent slightly, and asked, “Do you like these temporary shelters? If you don't, don't worry. I will soon arrange a huge place for all of you to stay, and I am also getting more kids to stay with you all.”

The two siblings nodded their heads in response and kneeled in front of him, surprising Knox greatly. “What are you two doing? Stand up,” asked Knox in a hurried tone.

The siblings stood up and said in unison, “My mother used to say that God always looks after us and helps us when we are in need. We have never eaten a full meal since my mother died, but today we ate our fill of delicious restaurant food. We will never forget your kindness and will forever be in debt to you.”

“You kids, why are you talking so big? As long as you all are happy and not hungry anymore, that’s all I care about,” said Knox while gently rubbing the siblings’ heads.

“Hmm,” the siblings nodded while wiping tears from their eyes.

The siblings went back to their temporary shelter, and Knox stepped out and moved towards the guards.

“Hail, your majesty,” all the guards bowed to him respectfully.

“Since that large inn is now ownerless, take it under us,” said Knox while looking at the guards.

The guards looked at each other and hesitated after hearing Knox's order.

“What is it?” asked Knox, frowning.

One of the guards stepped forward and said, “The owner of the large inn had a son, and he is saying, ‘I will never let anyone take away my property.’”

“Never let anyone take his property, huh?” Knox nodded with a ruthless glint in his eyes and thought, “These rich people act like they are the reincarnation of Jesus Christ but do shady things just because they have money. I will make sure nothing... not even his clothes are left to that so-called nouveau riche.”

“This crazy king that you think I am may have been a bastard through and through in the past, but this current crazy king is no longer that bastard. I will show everyone in this kingdom how to abide by the rules and how to be righteous,” thought Knox while clenching his fist. Coming from a world where people have to follow the rules and be good to survive in society, he would implement every detail of modern society in this medieval age.

Knox immediately passed his orders, “Immediately gather all the shady things the owner of that large inn did and submit the details to me within two hours.”

“As you command, your majesty,” all the guards bowed and hurriedly moved away.

Meanwhile, in the royal academy...

“Hey bitch, your cousin, that crazy king, is searching for orphans all over the kingdom,” said one of the young ladies with a mocking smile.

A glint of hate flashed through the young lady who had a pathetic appearance but was a rare beauty. That was the main reason she had to endure this bullying every day.

“Hmph, her cousin is a crazy king and she is a crazy bitch. Birds of the same feather flock together,” said the young lady sarcastically.

The young lady being bullied glared at her tormentor, which only pissed her off more.

“Slap... You low-level noble bitch, how dare you look at me with that gaze,” the bully slapped her and looked at her with scorn.

As the bullied young lady heard these words, her past life flashed through her eyes.

In the past...

It happened when she was still a little girl. Her father, a duke and the king's brother, was conspired against by other royal family members and lost his title, leaving him with only a very ordinary noble title, despite being blood-related to the royal family.

After her father lost the duke title, she was continuously bullied by the crazy king. Both she and her family suffered every day at the hands of the royal family and the nobles who served them.

Her mother used to say, “Don't fight back, just bear with it. Your father will regain the king's trust and get the official title again.” As a little girl, she always nodded and obeyed her mother.

Except for suffering, she had no other option all these years.

There were not just bad people; there were also good people in the royal family who continued to support her and her family from the shadows.

Meanwhile, in the royal palace…

Before Knox stepped into the palace, he heard the royal maids whispering, “Do you believe that our crazy king didn't kill anyone today?”

“Yeah, it's really hard to believe he didn't kill anyone today. Why did he suddenly stop killing? Do you think his craziness is gone?”

“Who knows? It's really hard to believe that he lost his craziness and then stopped killing entirely.”

Knox smiled bitterly and moved to enter, but he stopped again after hearing the next sentence from the maid.
