Tyranny Of The Crazy King
Royal academy's dining hall

Royal academy's dining hall

“Her Highness Rose Caldwell offended Her Highness Venisa, daughter of Duke Karl. Do you think His Majesty will be involved in this matter?” asked the brown-haired maid with a questioning gaze.

“Hmph, Her Highness Rose Caldwell’s family lost the king's favor decades ago. Will His Majesty involve himself in a matter related to Her Highness Rose Caldwell?” Instead of answering, the blonde-haired maid responded with a question.

“Rose Caldwell…” Knox murmured with a frown and immediately started searching his scattered memories for details regarding that name.

It took him a few minutes to analyze all his scattered memories related to Rose Caldwell and rearrange them properly in his mind.

“Oh, she’s actually a cousin to the previous owner of this body? Hmm, she looks gorgeous,” Knox murmured inwardly while rubbing his chin in a daze.

“Since she’s gone through so much injustice in her life, let me fix it and return her life to normal,” Knox thought while going through all the memories related to her.

Knox didn’t enter inside; instead, he stepped out of the royal palace and shouted, “Who is there?”

“Your Majesty,” all the nearby guards hurriedly moved close to him and kneeled in unison.

“Arrange the carriage. We are going to the royal academy right away,” Knox ordered in a majestic voice.

“As you command, Your Majesty,” the guards responded loudly, hurriedly standing up and scattering. Within a few minutes, they brought several different carriages and stood in front of them, slightly bowing.

All the carriages were made of gold and silver. “So extravagant,” Knox marveled at the carriages, thinking for a moment before asking the guards to send those extravagant carriages back and bring a more ordinary yet comfortable one.

The guards looked at each other in disbelief but complied. One of the guards brought an ordinary-looking carriage as Knox had ordered.

“Now this is what I’m looking for,” Knox nodded with satisfaction after seeing the ordinary-looking carriage.

The guards mounted their horses, while Knox slowly boarded the carriage.

*Neigh…*

The carriage moved in the direction of the capital, followed by the guards.

After an hour, the carriage reached the capital and headed toward the royal academy.

At the entrance of the royal academy…

“Hey, do you think our crazy king has changed? He suddenly stopped killing people,” asked a guard, leaning against the wall, yawning, and closing his eyes.

“Who knows. Let’s wait a few more days. If he’s really changed, he won’t kill anyone. If he hasn’t, it won’t take long before we hear about him killing someone he finds to be an eyesore,” replied another guard, thoughtfully.

*Ahem…*

One of the guards heard the cough and turned to look in its direction. “Ki… ki… ki…” His legs shook, and the words got stuck in his throat. He was close to fainting. “My damn mouth led to my death,” these words slowly passed through his mind.

“Yawn… What ki… ki… ki…? Say it completely, why are you swallowing your words?” asked the other guard with an annoyed expression, slowly opening his eyes.

When he saw who stood in front of him, he was petrified on the spot, pissed his pants, and lost consciousness—all in an instant.

“Oh shit, did he just piss himself?” Knox thought, covering his nose. He murmured inwardly, “If you’re so scared, you should have kept your mouth shut instead of running it.”

Then he turned to the other guard, who was close to fainting, and asked, “Can you open the door?”

The guard snapped out of it when he heard Knox’s voice and hurriedly ran to open the main gate without wasting another second.

Knox clasped his hands behind him and slowly walked inside, followed by his guards. Suddenly, one guard stepped in front of him, kneeled, bowed his head, and began speaking. “Your Majesty, since no one informed the academy’s headmaster of your arrival, he isn’t here to personally welcome you. Please follow us to the royal guest hall.”

“It’s fine, you can go now and inform him of my arrival,” Knox said, raising his chin with a smug look.

The guard raised his head and gave Knox a speechless look before lowering his head again. “As you command, Your Majesty,” he said before hurrying off toward the headmaster’s office.

It didn’t take long before the headmaster came running, wiping sweat from his forehead. “Your Majesty, I apologize for not welcoming you grandly.”

“It’s fine, I came without notice. Oh, can you show me around?” Knox asked, his expression blank.

“Y-yes, of course, Your Majesty. It’s my pleasure to guide you,” the headmaster replied with a dry smile.

“Good, let’s start with the girls’ campus,” Knox said.

“Sure, sure…” the headmaster nodded repeatedly.

Unlike before, the guards at the girls’ campus entrance were well-informed, and they immediately stepped aside to let Knox, the headmaster, and the accompanying guards enter. Knox nodded in satisfaction and walked forward.

Soon, he heard a small commotion coming from a certain direction. He turned his head to look.

“The dining hall is in that direction,” the headmaster said with a slight frown. He didn’t want a scene when the king of the nation was visiting the royal academy.

“Dining hall, huh? Now that you mention it, I’m a little hungry. Let’s go. If I find any tasty dishes, I’ll grab a quick bite,” Knox said with a fake smile.

“Your Majesty, no, I’ll have the senior chefs in the dining hall prepare the academy’s best dishes and bring them to you,” the headmaster said, panicked.

“Oh, so you want to decide what I do?” Knox asked, smiling. But the smile looked as if it came from a demon in hell. All the guards became alert and hurriedly reached for their weapons.

“No… No… Your Majesty, please forgive your subject for speaking out of turn,” the headmaster hurriedly knelt and placed his head on the ground, a cold shiver running down his spine.

“Okay then, let’s go. I want to experience what it feels like to eat in the royal academy dining hall together with the students,” Knox said, folding his hands behind him and walking toward the dining hall.

The guards relaxed and slowly removed their hands from their weapons, following behind.

“Yes… Yes… Asy ou said, Your Majesty,” the headmaster said, slowly standing up and following behind.
