In the news, sometimes you hear about near death experience. Where you feel like your outside of your body while looking at yourself?
That's pretty much how it was for me. Liz told me that I won't gain my memory until I'm three, but I could see myself from above, creepy, right?
Thankfully, that only happened to me few times over the three years, so it felt more like seeing a slide show of a child growing older bit by bit.
It has been around three years since I came to this world. I'm now three years old and I got my memories back. But there were some complication when I became aware again…
I'm… I'm…a… Fine! I'll tell you, I'm a freakin cat ear beast-kin, a nekomimi! You know, it would have been fine if I was just a cat person but, I'm also a female!!!…*sniff* my manhood~~ I was only fifteen when I died so I was a virgin…. “Momoe-chan, are you okay? Did you fall while walking again?”
My nekomimi Okasan(mother) asked me with a worried face. Ah… Okasan I'm not a baby, I wouldn't fall face flat without tripping on…. Oh! I am still only three huh.

I'm currently in my room sniffling from the loss of my manhood. It's not shameful since I lost most important part of my existence. My room is about the size of a regular master bedroom of a two story household. The thing is, this room is considered rather relatively modest for my family’s status.
Yup that's right! I was born as a daughter(orz) of an important noble of our kingdom. I still have no idea which kingdom we are in but the way my father boasts in front of me about his position and our house being a building that is the size of American White House, I can tell that our family has a huge prestige. I still get lost in our ‘house’ because of my bad sense of direction but isn't it too extreme to call this place a mansion instead of a castle?!

Um… Okasan, shouldn't you watch your language in front of a three year old? Whatever.
Anyways there is a good reason why I spoke like that. I’m a three year old baby, even if my mental age is that of a fifteen year old boy, I have a body of a child and sometimes I can't control my body function as well as I could have. So I can not speak fluently for now with this new body. Just what I needed. Liz turn me into a girl and made me speak like “Nyah Nyah Nyah”.
It's really annoying to hear yourself speak like that ya know! Also Everyone around me would giggle and pet my head whenever I speak… My pride as a man just hit rock bottom… Uhhh. At least I speak normally when I'm speaking to myself…
It's so that I can relieve my stress, don't judge me!
Okasan~ please stop staring at me with such hungry looking eyes…. It's kinda scary ya know? Anyways, I'm a little worried about my appearance after I reach puberty because I have more similarities with my mother than my father. I mean it's not a bad thing. Don't get me wrong, my mother is very beautiful.
My father is an ikemen wolf-kin while my mother is a beautiful eyes cat-kin. She has feline features like me as I already mentioned. Mother has long deep Crimson hair, deep red eyes, small cute nose and lovely thin lips. She is around thirty years old but she can pass as a teenager. I really would not mind looking like a bishoujo like my mother but her bust size is…. Huge… I don't think it would feel right for me to have big busts…
“Sweetie pie, we are having guests over today. An acquaintance of mine and her son is coming to visit. She was one of my trusted partner during my adventuring days so get along with her son okay? Her son should be around your age by now.” Okasan cut in off my deep hyster.. ahem, I mean my inner narration, it's not weird! Oh, she is staring at me intently, let's act like a three year old.
“Nyyokayy myahmy!”(me)
So Okasan was an adventurer before, I might have to nag her about it later for more information. As far as I know, both my parents used to be adventures. Otosan and Okasan met during their adventure and formed party. After awhile Otosan fell for Okasan and they got married.
Our head maid, Nitta Maru, entered my room. A cat beast-kin like my mother and me, Nitta San is the one in charge of all the maid servants in our household. She is likely the closest person to Okasan right after her own family. With purple hair and ears, she is very elegant. Young, around the age of sixteen, and beautiful, you might mistaken her for another noble if it wasn't for her maid outfit. The maid outfit of this world is similar to the Earth’s with black dress and white apron and lots of pretty frilly cloths attached.
“Yukari-sama, your guests have arrived. They are currently waiting for you downstairs.”
“Oh! They are already here! Serve them some teas and snacks, and I'll be there as soon as possible.” Okasan excitedly told Nitta San and dismissed her. Nitta San vowed and left the room.
“Sweetie, let's go to downstairs to greet them.”
“Yyash, myahmy!” Ugh… My way of speaking is soooooo irritating….
Now the reason why Okasan is grabbing my hand tightly… I get lost too easily. I might have had time to look around and remember all my route by now, but… it's to hard. I can remember everything from a book word to word but can't even find my way to my room without Okasan or Maru-chan(our maid).
For some odd reason, there was one place I can always find no matter what. The library. I wasn't a really big reader back in the old world but the books here are interesting, even the history books! The history books are fun to read because it feels like reading a fantasy novel.
I would go to the library everyday to read and spend majority of my time there. There is a huge collection of books that I haven't read yet.
I wonder what kind of noble my father is to be able to gather so much books.
Sometime, I would see some people at the library and they would be asking if I'm lost. I usually tell them that I am here to read and they would laugh. I can't really blame them since it's impossible for most children my age to read.
By the way, this world seems to be close to Japanese in cultures, and language. I'm so glad I learned Japanese during my fourth grade year because I couldn't wait for a translation group to finish English translation. Some manga’s translation took too long and I couldn't wait, so I learned Japanese to read the raw version.
It took me three years to learn enough to read, but it was worth it. I studied Japanese until the day of my death so it stuck to me.
Back to reality. While holding my hand tightly, Okasan turned the doorknob to the guest room.
We entered the room to find a human woman around the age of thirty and a human boy around the age of three. The lady in front of me was quiet beautiful for her age with brown hair cascading down her shoulder. She had gentle eyes with purple hues was calming but at the same time, her eyes showed wisdom from age.
The boy next to her had similar facial feature as the woman next to her. I'm guessing that they are the friend of Okasan’s friend and her son Okasan talked to me about. Wait…a boy my age and his mother came to see us probably… is this what they call political marriage?! Is he supposed to be my fiancé?! This is bad, I have to escape…
I froze in front of the door while Okasan takes a seat in front of them. I am still wondering if I should run away.
“Sweeties, come sit next to me, mommy wants to introduce her friend to you.” Okasan broke the ice by gesturing me to seat. Now I realized that not only Okasan was here but Otosan also was seated in the living room with a cup of tea in his hand. This is definitely fishy…
With no choice, I comply and take a seat between my parents.
The lady in front of us smiled brightly and spoke for the first time, “Hello, it is nice to finally meet you, Momoe-hime sama. My name is Nonomura Kaya, and this is my son, Kei. You must be wondering why we came to visit today…”
Right, I am. If you think you can make me marry forcefully, you got a thing coming!(Author’s note: Momoe is actually retorting in her mind as Kaya speaks. Kaya is not really being interrupted.)
“... I came here today not as a friend of your mother, but as the..."
I don't like where this is going, are you saying you are here as my suitor’s mother?
“… Adventure guild’s guild master.”
I thought so, wait, HUH?! She is the guild master to WHAT?!
And also, she just said hime sama… Did she just call me princess?! What the heck is going on here?!
“As the guild master, I personally came here to give you your status card. Since your highness is a royalty, we can't distribute the card like we do every year to the three years in the kingdom during the festival.
During the second day of Roku-gatsu, which is in 3 months, every citizens of three year olds will receive their card. The day after that is a festival held to celebrate the fortunes of knowing their statuses. However, as a royalty, we can't have you lining up with the other children now can we?
This year's festival will also be the day where we announce you as the first princess of Beastilia.(Kuma’s note: I know, bad name for a kingdom, Kuma…)”
Wait, wait! Hold up for a second, why the heck am I a princess and why did I not know?! I mean all the lady just calls me with my name with sama attached. Also they called never said the word such as your highness and such.
I haven't heard anyone say anything about royalty until today!
Without noticing my internal turmoil, Kaya-San took out the status plate and a small knife and handed it to me. Can someone explain to me how I became a princess of a freaking beast-kin kingdom?!
Okasan smiled thinking I was afraid of the knife. While soothingly telling me it won't hurt, she pricked my forefinger and rubbed my blood on to the card. When I was done, I checked my status plate:

While scanning through my card, Otosan’s face became really pale and his smile cramped. Seeing this, everyone else gathered around and looked over Otosan’s shoulder. Wait, don't tell me that my stats are actually below average?!
“What in the…”(Kaya-San)
“My child is a genius!”(Okasan)
“The stats are super high…”(Kei-kun)
The four huddled together while whispering things yah I can't hear at all.
“Umm… Is something wrong with myah’s status card Nyah?” I asked nervously. Is it that my stats are actually disappointing?
The room became eerie silent as no one talked or bother to explain why the atmosphere changed.
The first to break the silence was Otosan.
“There is something wrong with your status, Momoe.”(Otosan)
Oh no! So it was too low. Now that I know that I'm part of the royalties so I'm afraid. Will they throw me away because of how weak I am?!
"Your status are too high for your age, and you have two different blessings from the deities. Also when did you learn how to use magic?”(Otosan)
“Nyah?”, I let out a dumb voice when Otosan told me things that was opposite from my expectation
“Myah just read book?”(me)
I just tilt my head while answering his question. To be truthful, all I did was read the basics on all magic. I don't know how to use them yet, but gained a level from just reading and understanding.
"My child is a protege!”(Okasan)
Okasan ran toward me and grabbed me into her death grip, err… I mean hug while spinning me around. I passed out from the lack of air…
-Several hours later-
I woke up in my bedroom feeling slightly dizzy.
Thank God it was just a dream, I had a terrible nightmare. It was a dream where I find out that I'm a princess of the beast-kin kingdom and that my stats were overpowering in terms of magic power.
Feeling refreshed from my sleep, I walk out of my room, just to notice that it's afternoon… I usually don't sleep until late at night, so this is strange. Or rather, why was I asleep in the afternoon?
Oh, I see Maru-chan walking toward me.
“Hime-sama, are you feeling well now?”(Maru)
Yes yes, I am…. So it wasn't a dream. I sigh inwardly while pretending to play innocent to get some info out of Maru-chan.
“What does hime-sama mean, Nyah?”(me)
“Well, you see, it means you are a daughter to a king, and since his highness, your father, is our kingdom's King, your highness is referred to as hime-sama”(Maru)
The head maid answered my question diligently with an easy explanation fit for a child but… that's not what I'm asking about?!
“Myah papa is a King?”(me)
“Yes, hime-sama, all of our staffs were told not to talk about you being a royalty until your coronation during the festival when you turn three. No one except the higher ranking nobles and the staff knows of your existence. Well that's how it is supposed to be but I bet there has been rumors…
Anyways, because we could not afford for you to be kidnapped by other races, we had to keep you tightly away from the public view until you turned three, since that is when you can start learning magic and learn how to defend yourself, even if it's little. However, since your highness already started learning magic beforehand, this might not have been necessary. Also it is in Beastilia’s tradition to go through coronation during their third year at the same time as others of your age getting their status card.”(Maru)
I'm still confused here. If they are so worried about protecting me, shouldn't they just keep me hidden until I'm old enough to attend school. Well I guess it's this whole tradition thing people fusses over.
“If you are satisfied with my answer, please follow me. Everyone is waiting for hime-sama downstairs.”(Maru)
I nod toward the maid and let her lead me by the hand.
Wait, now that I think about it, I haven't read any books about Takasugi family being a royal family? Then again, I haven't had chance to read too many history books yet, so I guess that's why…
When Maru-chan and I arrived, everyone was sitting quietly in the same spot they were in before.
“Since Momoe is awake now, let's discuss about the card and what we should do from now on.”(Otosan)
Without wasting anytime, Otosan began to plan the next action we should be taking.
“First of all, we need more guards after the Momoe’s coronation as the first princess. We should also get her tutors to start her magic training.”(Okasan)
“Well, I shouldn't be speaking up, but is there anyone capable of teaching her combats at her age? I mean Hime is only three years old and she should not be able to learn much from a regular tutor. After all, her movements are limited since she is a child.”(Kaya-San)
All of the adults are in deep thought. Then Otosan made a face that literally screamed eureka, I thought I saw a light bulb above his head.
“I know just the right person for this job!!!”(Otosan)
All of us jumped in surprise at his sudden outburst.
“I shall go contact him right now, if I can reach him, he should be here around the time of the ceremony!”, after his excited remark Otosan was about to run out to his office when Okasan shouted back.
“Wait! Who do you have in mind?”(Okasan)
"Secret”, Otosan placed his index finger in front of his lips while winking mischievously. He runs out of the room like a child going out for recess.
“Hmm… I wonder what he is thinking”(Okasan)
“Beats me”(Kaya-San)
Kaya-San shrugs her shoulder care freely and asked a question.
“So when will you move back to the castle? After all, I don't want to come far out into the forest like today in the future.”(Kaya-San)
Eh? So this isn't our main house? So this means the castle is much bigger…
“We might move back after the ceremony. Kakuei has been complaining about not seeing me enough for three years.”(Okasan)
Wait! Is that why he is never home?! Oh, by the way Kakuei is my dad’s name… This whole situation is giving me a headache, I don't understand anything about this world.
(Kuma’s note: I'm with you, Kuma! Soooo confusing, Kuma! Wait, I should know since I made the story, Kuma? Hmmm, Kuma….)
“Momoe, why don't you and Kei go play around at the garden?”(Okasan)
“Yessh Myahmy”(me)
I gesture toward Maru-chan to signal for help.
The message of the S.o.S is: I don't know where the garden is, help!!!
Maru-chan luckily understand my mental signal(?) and guide the two of us to the garden.

Kuma-chan:(Drinking tea) ahhh what a lovely night, Kuma
(Enters Fate)
Fate:(while gasping for air) I finally escaped, banzai!
Kuma-chan: Ooooo, great job Fate, come seat and have some tea, Kuma (pour tea into the cup)
Fate:(Seats down and take a cup) White chrysanthemums yay, my favorite
(Both sips tea and bite down on cookies)
(Enters Liz)
Liz: You two idiots are here together, (grins evilly) good.
Kuma-chan&Fate: “eh?”, “eh, Kuma?”
Liz: Both of you die!!!
Fate: Kyaaaaa, no more chainsaw! I said I'm sorry!
Kuma-chan: why am I targeted, Kuma!
Liz: Because you are the author and the one who's been giving this idiot weird ideas!
(Fate and Kuma-chan runs away while screaming with Liz coming up close with chainsaw and insane smile)
