A MONTH LATER
Ein and Raiy are already six years old, and Everi is already eleven. After a month in this world, Ein and Raiy have mastered the language. It is easy for them to learn because the language's structure is similar to that of their previous world. However, only Ein can read and write.
This month, they spent their time training and gathering information. To achieve their goal, they need to get used to their new body—the body of a small kid. However, to survive in an unknown world like this, only training their body won't be enough; they must also study the world. Especially information about monsters that they need to kill in order to level up and separate their body. Although Raiy is unaware that by leveling up he can separate his body, but he understands the importance of training. He must become stronger to survive in this monster-infested world.
Aside from reading books, training, and seeking information from their mother, Ein is trying to make weapons and some potions too. However, the potion book that he gets from the treasury room is a weird book. Almost all of the potions will have a negative effect if used. Even the useful one is only to make a plate free of stains. But, one of the potions catches Ein’s attention. It’s a potion to attract monsters. It sounds dangerous. Ein won’t use it. But Ein still wants to make it. Maybe he can use it if enemies are surrounding him. He intends to take them along with him.
...
As usual, after spending their rest time making weapons and potions, they resume their training.
"Be fast, Onii-chan. Quickly, quickly. You said you would teach me the move from yesterday."
Ein and Raiy are teaching Everi martial arts from their previous world. Ein uses a bow and taekwondo to teach Everi, while Raiy uses karate. Ein is already skilled in several martial arts, but he refuses to reveal them. He does not want an unknown reincarnator to learn too much about him. He still doesn't know whether Raiy is good or evil. And there is a chance that Raiy is hiding something too.
As for why Everi calls them onii-chan, it's at the request of Ein.
...
“Alright, but you must first pinch Raiy's nose.”
Aww! 2x
“Good job, Everi,” Ein said, holding the pain.
“Hey! Why do you pinch me for real Everi? And you! Don’t you know if I get pinched, you will feel the pain too?”
“Brother, this pain is worth it. Don’t you know that before the rainbow, the rain must first come down? Look at the pureness of our little sister; don’t you think her pure side is really cute? If I don’t ask her to do it, then we can’t even know about this side of our sister.”
“Hmm, indeed. You are a genius, brother. It’s worth the pain to see this cuteness.”
“Nah, I just don’t think that she will really pinch you.”
...
Ein approaches the wooden doll that is placed in the center of the room.
“Alright, take a close look. I won’t repeat it.”
Ein is facing the doll. He turns his body to the side. His right leg is closer to the doll than his left leg. Getting ready to kick the doll in the head, he lifts his right leg.
Wuss!
A wind is created from his swift kick. The head of the wooden door was destroyed. It flew, hitting the wall and bouncing back to Ein's hand.
"Now you can try it for yourself, Everi. It will take some practice before you can do it right."
Ein said it while spinning the broken head on his finger.
Everi immediately ran to the other doll, which was placed in the corner of the room. She imitates Ein and kicks the doll repeatedly. Sometimes she is falling off balance.

After they finished teaching Everi, they immediately began to practice. Today is Raiy's turn to train.
Performing a stance, while doing a punch, Raiy says,
“Hey Ein, don’t you think our body is already powerful enough? I think we are ready to use magic. We can already destroy a wooden doll with a single kick."
To use magic, their mother said they needed to be eight years old. If they open their magic pores right now, their body will break.
"Don't you remember when we discovered the life force energy? We try it on our own and cough up blood as a result. We need Mother's guidance."
“But we can train it, don’t we? Our defense stats improve after we train with the life force energy. The duration when we can use the life energy to enhance our body strength is increasing too. We can now strengthen ourselves for a longer period of time."
“Of course, it will increase. Every time we train, we always cough up blood and heal it with our passive skill. And just give up on learning magic for now. Only Mother can teach us about magic, but Mother is stubborn and too kind. She will never allow us.”
“Then, let’s go outside and try to fight with some monsters. It’s so boring; if we can train some magic, it will be different though.”
“Didn’t you hear what Mother has said? Since they were born, monsters have already opened their pores. It’s different from us humans and half-humans. Monsters outside of this cave, even small rabbits, are stronger because their bodies have been enhanced with mana. The rabbit has killed many adults as well. However, this is because all of these adults are still unable to control their mana. At the very least, we need to be able to control our mana if we want to survive out there. And don’t even think about using the life force. We can't use the life force for actual combat! We will be injured if we use it."
“Ahhh, it’s frustrating. If at least Mother does not lose her memory, we can know the information of the monster on the outside. And it will not be dangerous to go outside there.”
"I agree. Mother can also tell us stories from the outside world. I'd like to know what's outside of this forest."
“How about if we ask Father about magic?”
“Give up on it!”

Ein is checking his status screen. He is sitting in front of his mother.
“Exception for MP and Magic; all of our stats are growing.”
Retorting to Ein, Raiy says,
“More than that, focus!”
Right now, their mother is transmitting her mana to them. She is attempting to open their pores by directing her mana through their mana veins. Mana veins are magical veins that exist in all living things in the world. It did not exist physically.
"This is not like the cold and wild energy of the life force. The mana is very soft and warm. I like it."
Raiy is muttering to Ein.
Responding to Raiy, Ein nods his head.
“Hey, hey, what are you guys doing? Let’s play!”
Everi leans forward cutely as she asks. She puts both her hands on his back.
Her brothers almost lost their concentration because of her. But to protect her in the future too, they must grit their teeth and ignore the cuteness in front of them. They are in an important moment right now.
The important moment is while opening their pores, their mother is teaching Ein and Raiy how they must manipulate the mana. They must remember where the mana must flow.
“Everi! Go play outside! We are not playing right now.”
Everi's mother yells at her.
Everi's body is jolting. Her eyes became teary. Pouting her mouth, she runs out of the room.
Okay, it's done. But before we try to use magic, let’s check your elemental affinity. Actually, there are more elements, but Mother currently only has these four.
After saying it, she gives them four colorful stones.
“Try to transmit your mana to the stones. The stones will glow brighter if you have an affinity. The red stone is a fire element, the blue stone is a water element, the brown stone is an earth element, and the green stone is a wind element. After the stones glow, you will feel four different types of energy. When you want to use elemental magic, try to remember and imagine the correct energy.”
Ein and Raiy then started to transmit their mana. But suddenly, their mother cut in.
“Ah, one more, try to imagine a real object too; imagine a real fire if you have a fire affinity; imagine real water if you have a water affinity; and so on. And to defend yourself from magic, simply allow your energy to flow out of your hand, then imagine a shield forming in front of you."
The both of them then do as their mother said. They take turns trying the stones one by one. Looking at the result, Ein and Raiy put on a flat face. Their mother looked fascinated.
“It’s amazing. Mother only has two elements, but the both of you have an affinity for four of the elements. Maybe each of you has two elements.”
Their flat faces begin to disappear. After getting confirmation from their mother, a weird, wavy smile starts to appear on both of their faces. They are smiling.
From their mother's previous explanation, they have a certainty that they've acquired the element. But before, they had already been disappointed by the combination skill. Because of this, they still want to at least get confirmation from their mother.
Still having a weird, wavy smile, Ein and Raiy then give the stones back to their mother. Accepting the stone, their mother says,
“Alright, we are done. Now go play with Everi and console her!”
They immediately go out of the room. They found the little girl crying on the corner.
“Everi! Wanna play catch ball with us?” Ein said.
Sob! Sob!
Everi turns his head toward Ein and Raiy. She stops crying and starts to smile. She then runs to the toy box that Ein made. Grabbing the ball, she throws it to her brothers.
Ein catches it.
“Everi, look at this.”
Ein is right now standing in the middle of the cave. In front of him is a wall, and behind him too is a wall. The distance between the two walls and him is exactly the same.
He throws the ball at the wall in front of him. It’s bouncing to the top wall, then bouncing again to the wall behind him. It's circling him. In the end, it hits the back of Raiy's head.
Tang!
“Hahaha.” 2x
Raiy's face became flat upon hearing the both of them laughing at him.
...
“What is this? You guys are doing some interesting things. Let me join too.”
Their father suddenly appears. He grabs the ball that falls in front of his leg.
...
They then play catch ball together. As time goes on, the play heats up, and they get excited.
“Accept this!”
Ein and Raiy's father became overly excited. Unconsciously, he tries to make a powerful throw. From their mother, they know that their father is already at B rank. E is the weakest, while SS is the strongest. Ein and Raiy are still at E rank right now. And these E-ranks are in a pinch.
Boom!
The ball is thrown. Ein and Raiy make a double mana shield with their right and left hands.
Crash!
Bang!
Ein and Raiy are thrown to the wall.
“Hey, I think we are ready to venture outside.”
With a tattering voice and a mouth filled with blood, Raiy said it.
With the same condition as Raiy, Ein tries to answer him.
“Yeah. Let’s go tomorrow.”
The two of them then become unconscious.
