TWO DAYS LATER

‘A day is equal to two months. I’m happy that I won't have to wait as a baby for so many months. But it’s scary to know that I’m not a human anymore. At least my appearance is human-like.’

Raiy taps Ein awake from his daydreaming. Raiy then points his finger at the room in front of him.

Looking at the room, Ein writes something on the ground.

“It’s a treasury room.”

Reading it, Raiy's eyes are wide open, and his mouth bends upward with delight.

From the outside, weapons are the only thing that Raiy can see. So, he thinks that the room is a weapon storage. But it’s not weird that weapons are being stored in the treasury room. Realizing this, Raiy gets excited.

Looking at Raiy, while sucking on his finger, Everi tilts her head to the side. She doesn’t understand what is written on the ground, and she doesn’t understand why Raiy is reacting like that. But Everi doesn't care about all of that; she just wants to imitate Raiy because it looks interesting to her. She smiled, and she opened her eyes wide. But Instead of looking excited, she looks funny. She looks very cute when she is doing it.

Ein and Raiy laugh looking at this.

A few seconds later, being satisfied from laughing, Raiy begins to enter the room, crawling.

Ein and Raiy can already crawl. This morning, after removing Everi's hand from their body, they realized that they could already crawl. Like always, Everi is sleeping with them.

Knowing that they are in a new world that has magic in it. While looking at the big blue crystal in the corner of the room, an idea comes to their mind.

‘Let’s go adventuring. It must be fun to explore this cave.’

They leave immediately after making their decision. Everi, who awoke after her hand was pushed away, walked closely behind them. A few moments later, they arrived in the room.

After entering the Treasury Room, they can find weapons, armor, shields, clothes, books, and even real gold. Raiy gets excited by the gold in the right corner, while Ein is interested in the hats in the left corner. Both of them are trying to get what they desire. But it's placed in the opposite direction. Because of this, with their faces, they fall to the ground. With one body, if two people are trying to control it, something like this is bound to happen.

With a flat expression, Ein writes,

“For now, gold won’t have any use for us. You can't even lift it up using your body right now.”

Come to a realization, Raiy becomes dejected. He dropped his head in disappointment.

Since Raiy became dejected, Ein now has full control of the body. Using this chance, Ein then approaches the box filled with hats.

‘Ooh, what with all of these things? There are so many interesting hats in here. There is a hat that looks like a pants; if worn, it will be like wearing pants upside down on the head. There is a slime hat too; it’s very bouncy and soft.’

Ein tries to grab the slime hat with his left hand. But with his right hand, Raiy takes it.

‘Ah, it’s taken; it looks very comfortable though. Next is... Wow, this one is amazing. If the hat is worn, it will look like a cat is lazily sleeping on top of your head... What are these long legs that dangle in the front? ... Wah, the cat's tongue is coming out when you pull it. Hahaha, it’s really interesting. Let’s put it on Everi.’

Ein extended his hand to give Everi the hat.

Everi takes the hat that is stretched out to her. She then tilts her head while asking with a cute voice.

“Joi ka ne kui, Ein? [What is this, Ein?]”

Before, when Everi tries to take the hat, she must get closer to Ein. Thus, Everi's face right now is very close to Ein.

Ein took the hat again and put it on Everi’s head. He then pulls the legs. Everi becomes very excited as she watches the cat's tongue move. She stands, then jumps repeatedly while pulling the legs again and again.

Raiy is instantly in full energy again looking at how cute Everi is.

And Ein, getting a dose of cuteness from Everi, makes a warm and joyful smile.

‘I'm full. I'm full. Let's put on a random hat and continue the adventure.’

Ein said.

Ransacking the box, Ein chose the hat that looked the best.

‘The other is just an animal hat and hat with a weird shape... Let's choose this.’

Ein chose a hat that has the shape of a fish. The fish has a long body with a white stripe pattern on it. It’s quite similar to a high-hat chef in Ein’s previous life. The fish is opening its mouth. When you use it, the fish will appear to be eating you.

They continue their journey. They are passing a lot of empty rooms on their journey.

‘There is too much empty room. It’s so boring.’

Ein said.

After a minute, they reach a room. It’s a food storage.

Everi quickly grabs some snacks. It’s smoked meat and smoked fish. Since Ein and Raiy can’t eat them, they immediately go to the next room.

The next room is a big room with a lot of ogres inside it.

‘So, they are really different from us. Their eyes are red. And they act like wild animals. They fight with each other and steal each other’s food... Let’s quickly move to the next place.’

Raiy looks terrified, while Ein worries that the ogres will attack them. They quickly moved away from there.

Arriving at the next room, in his mind Ein says,

‘So, this is the last boss. Let’s see what surprise you can give us.’

Ein can’t find any more passages; it’s the last room. Different from other rooms, the last room has an artistic look to it. Some clothes are tied together and become the door of the room. The clothes are colorful and beautiful. In a second, anyone will say that it’s Ein and Raiy’s mother who are doing it.

Their mother's voice can be heard from inside of the room. Hearing it, Everi immediately ran. Ein and Rays are following behind her. Opening the door with their small hands, they see their mother and Everi is hugging with each other. They are amazed by the scenery in front of them. The warmth that the two females offered is certainly beautiful. However, the scenery that surrounds them is not inferior to it. When combined, it created a very peaceful and heartwarming scene.

The boiling soup, is illuminated by the light that comes in from the hole on top of the cave. The smoke from the fireplace is flowing out of the hole.

Below the hole, close to the fireplace, is a little garden with vegetables and some flowers that Ein and Raiy’s mother make.

There is a pool of water in the corner; the water is flowing out from inside of the wall. It’s a natural source of water. The water came, from the rain on top of the cave.

Looking at the beautiful scenery, in his mind Ein says,

‘Wow, even though it’s a kitchen, but the scenery is very good.’

A moment later, Mother noticed Ein and Raiy.

“Nuk nu ma? Sai hei la. [What are you doing here? It’s dangerous.]”

Mother approaches them; she then brings them to the top of the kitchen table. The kitchen table is right next to the boiling soup.

“Bai vei fui sa i. Go lui nui na kama jai mu ma rai. [I will bring you here myself from now on. It’s better to keep an eye on both of you than let you be in the room alone.]”

‘Is that a tomato?’

A strange red vegetable is placed on top of the table. It's long and block-shaped.

‘And that’s a soup that my mother made. Let’s try it. Just a little sip won’t kill a baby. We are an ogre baby after all.’

Ein's body moves by itself before he even tries to move it. It approaches the soup that is placed on top of the table. Raiy has already noticed the soup before Ein does. He moves fast.

Arriving in front of the soup, they immediately sit there. Raiy grabs the spoon first. He then takes a sip on the soup. After taking a sip on the soup, the control of the right hand is weakening. Ein can now control it. With a little soup that is left on the spoon, Ein takes a sip too.

Woegh!

Ein and Raiy simultaneously threw up.

Ein then, in his mind, says,

‘This is not bad, but this feels too disgusting for a baby. Moreover, this soup is only water and vegetables that are seasoned with salt.’

Baby’s tongue is still delicate. So the soup taste is very bad for the both of them.

‘This is an unexpected side of Mother. She can’t cook.’

From Ein and Raiy's perspective, their mother is very gentle and feminine. So they were surprised.

A few moments later, Ein crawls to the spice corner near the table. He then put the spice into the boiling soup.

‘Now, let’s see the surprised expression from our beloved mother.’

Five minutes later, Ein and Raiy's mother had already finished distributing the food to all the ogres. Their father has also come after detecting the smell of the soup. Sitting beside his daughter and sons, the mother gave him a bowl of soup too.

‘Youw, hai eata! [Alright, begin eating!]”

The purple ogre is giving an order to all the ogres that he is leading.

All the ogres, the father, the mother, and the little big sister, start to eat simultaneously after the order has been given.

WOOO!

All the ogres are screaming.

The mother, the father, and the little big sister are very surprised too.

Getting satisfied by looking at all of the faces, in his mind, Ein says,

‘I want them to get surprised. But I’m not expecting it to be this much.’

“Jiu me ka ma nu la, Beatrice? [What is this food, Beatrice?]

“Nei mu hai bu, hei bai gui fu fai da. [I don’t know; maybe some spice is falling into the soup.]

The both of them are busy having a conversation.

Meanwhile, all the ogres eat their food fast. They even fight with each other to steal the food. An ogre is losing the battle; his food is stolen. Naturally, he tries to search for another food. His eyes stopped at Ein and Raiy’s untouched bowl. The brothers can’t eat the soup after all. So it’s still full. Besides, in the ogre's mind, the brothers look very weak. So, he runs and tries to steal their food.

Looking at the running ogre, Ein and Raiy are surprised. Panicking, they fall to the back. Their backs are now touching the ground.

Their mother, who noticed the ogre too, is screaming.

Aaaa!

There was one meter left until the ogre reached the sibling.

...

Bang!

The father punches away the ogre. The ogre flew and slammed against the wall.

“Vui na, ze... u vui na, fi. Na rei mu ta. Au yi kana sa. [Thank you, God... And thank you, dear. You are very nice. You save our kids.]’

After praying, with a smile, the mother ran and hugged the father. The father hugged her back. They then hugged each other while swaying to the right and to the left.

Looking at the both of them, Everi stands and starts to join them. Everi was busy eating before, so she was late in noticing the ogre. She notices it after the big bang sound is made by her father.

‘Wah, it’s the beast and beauty.’

Ein and Raiy thought about it simultaneously.

‘And an extra of one angle.’

Ein said it.
