Her favorite prison

Her favorite prison

After hearing what the queen of the witches ordered, Liam immediately stood up and swiftly went in Hansel’s direction. Alfred turned to see the witches at the back and cast a spell to assemble the north and south walls, blocking the queen and the other witches.

“Don’t underestimate us!” Alfred challenged.

As Liam carried Hansel, Alfred reached for Liam’s Hand, and the three teleported into another room.

The witches were astonished, and so was the queen. “Then let’s play this hide-and-seek game.” The queen mumbled.

“Find them, and lock them in my favorite prison.” Emphasizing the last three words.

Meanwhile, in another room,

“There’s magic preventing us from going outside the castle. We don’t have a choice but face them head-on.” Alfred admitted.

“Moving from that situation already used up our energy,” Liam emphasizes.

The room they are in now is darker than the first one. The only source of light is the glowing crystals on the ground. From what they can identify, the room is filled with large bird cages made of trees. Oddly there’s no bird in any of the cages.

Liam lay Hansel down near the cage. “Because my skill teleportation popped out of nowhere. Then Maybe I-“ Sighing so loud he was frustrated.

Liam bent his knees and positioned himself in front of Hansel. He placed his hand on Hansel’s forehead. ‘Assuming what I’m doing is correct, this is how they do it when healing in anime.’ Liam thought to himself.

He closed his eyes. He imagined his vesma carefully flowing in Hansel’s body. Liam was focused entirely on what he was doing until Alfred patted his shoulder.

“Mate, that’s too much vesma. You might kill him.” Alfred insisted.

Liam stopped. And stood up from his position. ‘wow, you can learn something from anime.’ He thought.

skills: Teleportation

Healing

Information once again passes through his mind.

“Now, what do we do? Do you know how we’re supposed to get out of this place alive?” Liam asked Alfred with serious eyes.

“That’ll be difficult mate. Can’t you go berserk like last time?” Alfred chuckled as he answered Liam’s question.

‘How I wish that were easy; I wasn’t even sure how I did that. And if I can do that, how can I stop myself? Collapsing after releasing too much vesma will bring me closer to death.’

The sound of leaves rustling made the two go back to their senses. The room has no window or door, so wind entering the room is impossible. Alfred and Liam brace their selves until someone taps their shoulders. Both look at each other before glancing at the back with sweat dripping from their forehead. The two looked pathetic at this moment.

The tension in the atmosphere gradually decreases when they saw it was Hansel back on his feet.

Hansel smiled at the two. And Immediately, a scowl on his face. “You guys were scared just now? How would we survive if you guys had gotten your tail between your legs?” He asked annoyingly.

“Wow! the dead man came back to life!” Alfred replied mockingly.

Hansel just rolled his eyes.

“Let’s find our way out of here. Those witches will not eat me. But I can’t use too much of my magic so follow me.” Liam ordered.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

The three silently crawled, trying their best to avoid attention. Liam was the first one, followed by Alfred and Hansel.

They went in the left direction, Liam following the glowing crystal. He’s unsure about what he’s doing, but there’s no harm in trying.

Liam stopped when his hand touched something smooth. The floor in the room was all rough, describing how old it was. But this particular tile was smooth.

He signaled the two to stop for a moment, but Alfred, curious why Liam stopped, continued. He accidentally pushes Liam. Liam, who was out of balance, pushed the smooth floor.

A loud thump was heard from the ground. The three become nervous as the sound becomes sharper and more audible. The Glowing crystal glowed brighter with the last loud sound of something gigantic hitting the floor. The leaves of the trees rustled, there was a slight convulsion of the ground, and all the tiles in the room assembled into a massive door with crystals in the lining.

The three were astonished! Liam has encountered various life-threatening events and unexplainable occurrences that science could not explain. Yet he still could not believe what he was seeing. This world is magic!

Amusement is written on their faces, especially Liam’s.

Alfred excitedly moves forward to open the door. Liam quickly grabbed his shoulder, making him look dissatisfied, like this door smelled trouble.

Alfred smiled at Liam, giving him a look that it would be fine.

Hansel leaned at Liam to look at his brother with an unbelievable expression on his face. Alfred shrugged the two and touched the door.

It was too hard to push, so Alfred forcefully passed all his strength to open the door.

A narrow pathway confronted them, and the wind blew to their faces. The path was lighted by stellas.

Stellas – A blue, glowing bug. It’s 3.5 centimeters in length. Their whole body is glowing with blue dust falling from their flapping wings. They prefer to stick to one another. Female stellas are allured by the brightest male. Once bitten by this bug, your bitten limbs will redden and be paralyzed. Witches sometimes used them in their potions.

“Let’s crawl; we don’t want to be bitten by these insects’ mate,” Alfred suggested.

“Why?” Hansel tilted his head to look at his brother.

“You haven’t read the book Mayka gave us?” Alfred stingily asked his brother with a raised eyebrow.

Hansel just rolled his eyes and mumbled a few words, irritated.

Alfred took the lead, followed by Hansel and Liam. They crawled the narrow path and tried their best to avoid the stellas.

The moment Alfred reached the outside of the narrow hallway, the magnificent intermediate forest welcomed him. Giant mystical trees, different birds of distinct sizes, and vibrant plants were visible. A lake was gracefully located at the center. Its clear water was mesmerizing, attracting newcomers to dip in the freshwater.

Alfred avidly runs to experience this opulence. He removed his clothes and swam through the lake. He splashes the water like a kid who once dreamed of coming to this beautiful place again.

Meanwhile, Hansel was greeted by dozens of people. He arrived in an unknown city which seemed to have a Fest. People who saw him greeted him cheerfully; everyone smiled, laughed, and had fun. From the right side, there’s a choir singing joyfully. To the left side, foods are offered to people for free, buffet style. At the center, gentlemen and ladies are dancing. A girl without a partner saw Hansel alone and out of place. She held his hand and asked him to dance with her.

The girl pulled Hansel to the center of the plaza, and people were looking at them, still smiling. Hansel could not help but lowered his head and was diffident. The girl noticed Hansel’s slight change in reaction and cupped his face.

“Dance with me, please.” She casually said, smiling, giving him optimism.

The girl held Hansel’s left hand and placed it on her waist; his right hand held her left hand, and they slowly followed the music.

In the darkness where Liam entered, a table lamp was the only light source. He remembers this scene; He took a step forward, and a bed appeared on the right opposite of the table. He took another step, and a window appeared next to the table. He went closer and closer, and he sat on the bed. His bed, his table. These pieces of furniture were in his room from his previous life.

He sighed, releasing the feeling of despair building up in him. He blinked several times and stood up. He walks toward the lamp and holds it for a moment as he gazes at the window. There’s nothing there. This space is nothing but loneliness, a void in the past he can never escape.

From the castle’s third floor, the queen of witches looks through the orb floating on her hand. “These idiots just went to my favorite prison. There was never a hide and seek when you’re playing in the palm of my hands.” Bored, she tossed the orb outside the window and let it crash. There is one more person on the third floor next to the queen of witches. She’s wearing a pink rayon challis smocked top, an illusion bodice neckline, and an organza tulle skirt paired with ankle boots. Her clothes paired with her beauty, pink platinum hair, fair skin, and liz eyes. She looks elegant.

She chuckled exquisitely when the queen threw the orb and regained composure after.

“Can I play with them?” She humbly asked the queen lowering her head to show inferiority.

The queen faced her, bewildered by her sudden interest she agreed.
