Korne was sitting next to his campfire, it was dark out with the shadowy overcast coupled with the fact it was night time, it'd been about eight hours since he heard the thundering boom of an explosion in the direction of castle Morne, he wondered if those two were okay.
He tuned his violin and started playing a tune, but his tune screeched to a stop when he saw the pair, Galus heaving the large wolf man by it's own cape, he rushed over looking at the two of them, Galus had a chunk of stone where one of his eyes should be, along with smaller bits of debris and burns on him. Blaidd though seemed to have the worst of the energies. "Marika's ass boy what happened?!"
Galus looked like he was going to collapse any second now from exhaustion and or blood loss, his mind seemed to have been left about half a mile back as Korne couldn't see much in his eyes aside from stubbornness. Korne slapped him on the side of the face that didn't have a rock in it. "I said what happened?!"
Galus seemed to snap out of it... Somewhat, atleast he acknowledged his presence. "The golem exploded when Blaidd attacked some kind of fuel canister, debris pelted him and there was fire everywhere, I used some of the crimson tears on him, but shrapnel kept it from healing closed completely..." Galus trailed off and Korne took the rope and started pulling it as well, the man was obscenely heavy and when the firelight revealed the giant bent sword on the sled next to him he realized why it'd take the boy so long to get here.
Korne grabbed Galus by the arm and lead him over to one of the wooden benches next to the fire. "Sit down, rest, I'll bandage you u-" Galus grabbed his arm. "Blaidd first" Galus said, before going unconscious.
Korne sighed, walking over to Margaret his Mule, he dug through it's saddle taking out a few rolls of bandages, he noticed the flask of crimson tears on Galus' belt and took it, for when he was done. He went into the woods for about ten minutes and came back with a bunch of Rowa fruit, he put them on a pan and started cooking them, after about a minute they started popping into wispy cotton balls, after a while the cotton had built up to point it threatened to spill out of the pan. He walked over to the Mule and grabbed a pair of tongs and a straight razor.
He knelt next to Blaidd, and undressed him down to his skivvies, and started using using the straight razor to shave the area around the first piece of stone, he pulled the stone, with a sucking sound a the stone shard about the size of a small dagger came out of his belly, he quickly used the rowa cotton to stanch the wound. He used a brush with some melted resin and applied the cloth bandage to the sticky area, after repeating the process about twelve more times he'd gotten all of the shrapnel he could see, but given that Galus gave him some of the crimson tears potion there might be some buried inside of his body, he'd live, probably but he wasn't fighting any time soon, he poured the rest of the potion into his open mouth, closing the bandages wounds.
He moved his attention to patient number two, he undressed him as well and found he had many smaller shrapnel bits inside him, though most were smaller and he'd need something small to get it all out. He rummaged in his pockets and took out a pair of tweezers, he started picking bits of gravel out of Galus' arms legs, and torso, before moving onto the biggest problem, the eye, no amount of crimson tears would fix that, maybe a powerful healing incantation from a priest of the golden order, but given his earlier comments about the order and the erd tree as a whole, he'd guessed that he wouldn't take kindly to him getting dragged before a priest to be healed, not to mention Korne's own disposition with the order, no the best thing for them was to do what he could for them here in the safe out skirts of their territory. Korne took a deep breath and started to pull the rock out of his eye socket, the eye had completely been destroyed and the rock was hot enough that most of the wound was cauterized but there was still a fair amount of blood, after he git it out he did what he could to clean the eye using a piece of cotton on a stick dipped in scalding hot water to clean the wound, before putting a bandage over his eye.

Now he just needed to wait for them to wake up.
------------
Blaidd blinked awake, he looked around, it was morning, noticing Galus and the Merchant next to the fire, he blinked slowly again looking to his right seeing his armor which had many new holes in it, and lying on top of it was a piece of metal and Glintstone that might once have been his sword, he moved to sit up, but yelped as a pain in his stomach seemed to stab him. The pair heard Blaidd and Galus walked over, he knelt next to him and Korne did the same on the other side. Blaidd noticed Galus' bandaged eye, a small spot of red in the center of it.
The merchant looked at him. "This is gonna be rough not going to lie, but I'm gonna need you to tell me where it hurts." The merchant said, pressing on his chest, after a couple of presses Blaidd growled. "There." The merchant then started poking the area with his pointer and middle fingers until Blaidd growled again, then To his horror, the merchant took out a straight razor and start shaving shaving the fur in that area, he then put his thumb into an ink well and marked the spot with a black finger print, then he repeated the process eight more times, until they found them all. He cleaned the straight razor with a small caldron of boiling water, he'd then looked at Blaidd, "I wish you were asleep for this, but I don't have anything that could put you under."
Blaidd just nodded, and Korne took the straight razor and cut an incision along the thumb print, he held the skin open with a leather gloved hand and looked, there was a small bump beneath the muscle and he grabbed the straight razor and made a second incision revealong the small grey rock, he set the razor blade aside into a bowl, and Galus moved to clean it. and used the tweezers to pick it out, a little jagged rock, he dropped it in a separate bowl, and moved on to the next wound.
After the process was complete Blaidd took a drink of the tears, and the small wounds that dotted his body started to close.
Blaidd looked around at the two of them. "Galus, Merchant, thank you..."
Korne grunted. "Name's Korne." Blaidd nodded.
Korne gave him a pat on the back. "No worries, that'll be seven thousand runes."
Blaidd groaned, fastening his cloak on, and picking up the bent up sword, growling in annoyance. "Put it on my tab, I'll pay it off, eventually."
------------
Galus got up, looking to the Merchant, feeling bad that he was getting shafted like that after saving his life. "Blaidd, come on man."
Blaidd sighed, stabbing the bent up sword into the ground. "I'll just ask old man Iji to make me a new one, the Glintstone in that blade should cover the price, and then some."
Galus shrugged, guess old dog was broke. Fighting without depth perception was going to be a fucking bitch, but he'd see what he could do about that, as far as he knew there weren't any prosthetic eyes in this world, so this eyepatch would have to do, bright side, he looked like a pirate, yaar.
Galus started toward castle Morne again, though he noticed Blaidd not following, instead he stood there, looking at him confused. "You're going back there? We almost died at the front gates and you want to go back into that mess?" Blaidd asked.
Galus looked at him, standing at the top of the incline in the road. "I promised my friend that I'd rescue her father, or at the very least confirm his death, I am not going back until I see him dead, or drag him out here by his fucking hair. One way or another, I will be going back, you care to come along? Either way I want you to have this, it might not be as heavy as that board you call a sword, but it cuts just fine." Galus asked, offering Blaidd his bastard sword.
Blaidd sighed, rolling his shoulders, and took the sword. "I cannot accompany you, but should you go to Liurnia, go to Variant manor, talk to Iji, tell him I sent you." Galus said, resting a heavy hand on Galus' shoulder. "I'm sure you'll make a great Carian knight, and under my tutelage you'll be a formidable force."
Galus nodded. "I look forward to your tutelage." He waved as they parted ways, and Galus walked off into the shadow of Morne.
