Chapter 001: Transmigration

A young man with short black hair woke up in the middle of a forest. His name is Gin Yamazaki. He was 15 years old this year and has a big sister. His mother died while giving birth to him. His father took all kinds of jobs to raise him and his sister together.

One day, he was walking to his home an earthquake occurred. The building beside him fell down and crushed his body into a meat paste. The incident shook the entire country as the disaster took the lives of thousands of people.

But this wasn't the end...

Gin found himself in the middle of a forest. He was buck-naked without anything with him.

"This... Where am I?" He muttered to himself. He observed his surrounding, only to see never-ending trees.

He wanted to know where he is. Gin knew that his father and sister would be worried about his well-being since he hasn't returned. That's why he had to figure out his location.

He didn't even care that he was naked. He just simply walked through the forest.

Suddenly, an intense pain assaulted his head. He couldn't help but fell to his knees and grabbed his head with both of his hands.

*Ding!*

[You've been chosen as the 99th host of the system!]

[Generating the system... The World Travel System successfully bounded to the host!]

"What the hell is this...? Is this similar to the system that I've read about in those novels... If that's the case, am I really on earth?"

Gin lifted his face, which was full of sweat. He forced himself into a seated position and leaned his back on a tree. He raised his hand and wiped the sweat on his forehead before he focused his attention on the system.

All the things that happened right now were too strange. He would even believe if someone told him that he was in a dream. It was too much.

"No matter what... I have to return to my father and sister. They are the only ones I have."

Gin gritted his teeth and a semi-transparent screen appeared in front of his vision.

It was the details of the World Travel System. It was like a game where he could travel to different worlds. As long as he completed the missions, he would be able to unlock more worlds and gain points so that he could buy different things in the store.

But right now, everything was greyed except for two things...

[Main World: Divine Origin World!]

The color of these words wasn't grey. Instead, it was red as if it was warning him about the danger. He clicked on it and a warning pop-up in front of his vision.

[Warning!! Warning!! Warning!! Warning!! Warning!!]

[Divine Origin World is the source of everything and the pressure it contained will squash your body the moment you enter the world!!]

[The system suggested that you should train your body first!!]

[Sixty percent of the previous host died in the Divine Origin World!!]

[Careful!! Careful!!]

"The hell is this?! Then, what should I do?"

Gin took a deep breath to calm himself. He was too agitated right now and it would be bad if he made careless actions. He forced himself to accept that this was real but deep inside, he subconsciously thought that this was nothing but a dream.

Who could blame him? Everything about this system was beyond what anyone could explain. That's why he was subconsciously treating this as a dream. It would take a while before he accepted his current situation.

Gin moved his eyes and looked at the words below the Main World.

It was called Sub World. Besides it, was a bunch of question marks.

[Sub World: ???]

He tried clicking this and a notification pop-up in front of him.

[Randomly Generating a Sub World for the first missions...]

A bright light flashed and engulfed Gin's body. Gin couldn't even react as the white light swallowed him. After a while, the light disappeared and he found that he was still in the same place.

He was still in the middle of the forest.

"What happened just now?" Gin muttered to himself. He looked at the system again and noticed that the question marks beside the Sub World had disappeared. It was replaced by words written as DxD World.

DxD World...? As in Highschool DxD? Gin frowned when he realized it. He didn't want any of this to happen. He just wanted to return to his family.
