Chapter 1

After Mr. Denver brought me to the library and he and the librarian had a talk, I was now sitting in a dingle little corner with some history books and a World map.

I had now 3 hours alone, 3 hours in which I need to make a plan and find out if I am in a crossover between Harry Potter and something else.

As I'm turning the sides of my history book, I noticed that my hand is still shaking.

I am still terrified about the thought that I am in the world of Harry Potter!

But I can't despair, to survive I need to find out where exactly I am. So I waited till my hand stopped shaking, and then I'm browsing the history books.

After 30 minutes. I concluded that almost everything is the same, I think.

The only thing that could be different, are the number of casualties in the second world war.

I'm not a history professor or something like that, but I think that the casualties for the second world war were 85 million, and not 95.

But nothing else catches my eye.

No world war 3 or Superheroes or an alien invasion, if I didn't see the Leaky Cauldron and had this warm ball in my chest, no not a warm ball but my magic! Then I would have thought that I am in my universe just decades in the past, I would probably be thinking about how to become rich with Bitcoins and the stock market.

Now that I think about it, is it normal that I can feel my magic? Or is it because I never had magic?

And that feeling that my Magic is like a warm ball! Does this mean that a magical core exist?

Or do I have another Power?

But I digress, after looking over the world map and finding nothing like Sunnydale,Gotham,Metroplois,Hawkins,Storybrook, and Smalville.

I'm pretty sure that this is not a crossover universe.

Now that this is cleared up, I need to

"Is everything okay? You look distressed."

As I heard the voice and looked up, I see the face of the librarian, a Mister Brown if my memory serves me right.

It seems that I didn't hide my distress well enough, something that I need to change in the future.

"It's nothing, sir, I'm just a little nervous about an upcoming test"

I don't really see a reason that I need to inform him about the placement test that I need to do.

Mr. Brown smiled at me while saying.

"Well, you look like a bright lad to me, so don't worry about it. You just need to remember to always give it your best."

Lad. Yeah, I need to get used to words like that.

Before I can reply, Mr. Brown was already talking again.

After I nodded and didn't say anything else, he just smiled and walked away.

As I watched him walk away, I couldn't help but think that I would be a horrible actor.

I just don't know how to act like a child.

And I don't think that I should change that, especially since it would be weird if my behavior changes so suddenly.

But enough about that, I need a plan on how to survive in this Universe.

I'm starting Hogwarts in 2 years, I can try and learn to do things similar to what Tom Riddle did while he was still a child, I think that Tom Riddle said to Dumbledore the first time that they meet, that he can move things without touching them, and that he can hurt people with his power.

The other thing that I could and should be trying to learn is Occlumency.

No! I absolutely need to learn Occlumency, I need to hide the memories of the future.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I need to be sorted, well fuck, will the Sorting Hat read my memories?

Or is it something more esoteric? Like does, it have a method that allows it to find qualities that someone has without reading their minds?

I think that I read in the Potter wiki that the hat asks questions and then interprets the Answers via Legilimency.

But it's not only the hat, Dumbledore, Snape, and Tom Riddle will all be in Hogwarts and all of them know Legilimency, or Occlumency, I don't think that it was ever stated if Dumbledore knew Legilimency.

Yeah, I definitely need to learn Occlumency!

But how? Trying to clean my mind and keeping it empty?

I absolutely should avoid going to Diagon Ally without an adult Wizard or Witch.

First, I don't have any money to my name, nor do I think that I have a Gringotts account.

And secondly, even Wizard and Witches should find a 9 year old boy alone in Diagon Ally weird.

And I don't even know if there are books about the Mind Arts being sold to the Public, or without needing any Permits.

Maybe I should ask Mr.Brown about a book on the mind or about a Memory Palace?

No, that would be a Bad Idea! What 9 Year old would ask for such books? I need to find them myself.

But enough about the mind arts, I have 1 hour and 20 minutes left.

I need to think about what I should do in the future, and what my goals would be like.

I have a lot of ideas about what I could do, for most of them, I need to find and then research the Room Of Requirements for its limits.

For some, I need to wait till I have access to a Wand and Books.

And for others, I need to know how exactly magic works, and if there are any limits.

In some fan fiction, a giant ring was built, then it was put into the ocean, seawater was then flowing through it, and then the gold and other metals were separated from the water and then banished into a box or something like that.

Those metals that were smaller than a sand grain were then fused into a barren.

It should be possible, especially since there should be 1 kilogram of gold in 76 square kilometers of seawater, so if I put such a ring in the middle of the Gulf Stream then I would have 1 kilogram of gold in 3 hours.

If such a thing works, and I can find the charms or runes or whatever for that, and it's not illegal or if it's illegal, but I can do it without getting found out, then that would be an ideal money-making idea.

Maybe i could even gather some metals that a magical? Like Mithrill or Orichalcum or that Goblin Silver.

In moments like these, I'm really happy that I googled and researched things that I found funny or weird.

Perhaps I should look for Books in the Library on Nordic and perhaps Futkars Runes?

No, not Futkars, Futhark? Yeah, Futhark Runes, and probably on old English.

So many things to study, perhaps I should ask Mr. Brown, if I can get a library pass?

Then I could borrow some books.

And for my goals? That's easy, to leave this Universe.

Of course not to my old one, I have nothing that I would miss there.

But to a new Universe, one without advanced technology,

Because even now I can see some surveillance cameras on the streets, and in 30 years or so there would be hundreds of thousands of them.

I don't think that the statue will survive the 21st century, especially with Smartphones.

And I don't think that Muggles and Wizards can live with each other in peace,

so I rather piss off to another universe than to deal with that shit storm.

So when I'm at Hogwarts, I will be then learning about Runes, Charms, Rituals, Portals, and whatever can manipulate space, especially the Fidelius Charm I think that one is the most useful Charm there is.

As to the question if the Magical World knows anything about the Omniverse or whatever is the scientific name?

I don't know, I think that they know that there is another Plane of Existence, especially with all those ghosts, and the Death chamber, but not about other Multiverses.

But enough about that, I only have 30 Minutes left,

the only thought I had in my head as I cleaned up my table and then went to look if they had any books on the Mind, were about all the Danger that I would have to dodge, and the things that I would have to learn in the coming years.
