I watch Don Juan's movements while leaning onto my back leg, getting ready to spring forward at his slightest movement. The wight just smiles as he slams the bottom of his cane on the ground, a white mist pouring from the staffs bottom before a groaning sound is heard. I take a step back as a skeletal hand crashes from the earth as a skeletal merfolk pulls its body from the ground. Behind it the corpse of my gremlin self that's still bleeding from the neck pulls itself to a standing position and gurgles.
"Sir Noortain, as you can see my power as a wight means I can command lesser undead as long as I have a semi solid corpse. This arena has stored your past deaths as well as Sir Wake's so if you wish to get to me you must first get through them. Enjoy!" Don Juan says politely with a smile as he backs away from the still appearing undead and leaning onto a wall while I break out in a cold sweat.
After swallowing the lump in my throat I steel my determination and charge forward towards the growing horde of undead gremlins and Merfolk. I swing my blade towards the face of one of my dead clones and watch in surprise as the blade cleanly slices its head in two, it's body disintegrating as a merfolk missing an arm lunges through the dust. I snatch my club from my back and slam it down onto the merfolk's skull and smile as it's head explodes into dust.
"These damn undead aren't very challenging Demousso! Come on throw something at me!" I say cockily as I dispatch several more undead before feeling a sharp pain in my back.
"Bravado and assuredness do not make a victorious warrior. I said that I can easily command LESSER undead which are barely useful as shields let alone combatants. But as a Wight Lord i have a 25% chance of raising an intelligent greater undead and a 2% chance of raising a unique undead. Just because you can slaughter the sheep doesn't mean your the only wolf among them." Don Juan says with a chuckle as I turn around and see a larger merfolk than the others, its grey mottled skin gaunt over its frame.
I inspect the creature and am stunned at it's information as I drag myself off its bladelike tail and take up a defensive position.
(Blade tailed Ghoul Level 15 Elite)
An evolved ghoul created through summoning magic. Unlike the feral cousins these creatures do not require eating corpses to survive and actually think like a sentient predator. The longer these creatures survive the more intelligence they gain eventually being able to control ghouls, lesser undead, as well as emulate life so that they can meld into society. The blade tipped tail secretes a mild paralysis venom that can cause multiple effects.
The evolved ghoul turns its head to the side curiously, it's eyes showing confusion and expectancy as it watches me. All of a sudden in rushes me, its tail glinting and swinging wildly over its head, slamming through several undead around it before its point stabs towards me. I watch it in shock as my body refuses to move, I try to force a reaction but fail to do so before a prompt appears before a sharp pain follows it.

"Ugh my head hurts....damnit I shouldn't have gotten cocky just cus his undead were weak. Never underestimate any enemy regardless of level, got it." I mumble as I open my eyes and find myself in a small wooden room. Looking around I see small shelves built into the walls that have various glass bottles filled with an array of colorful liquids. I get up and realize I'm actually laying in an actual bed and that the room has a small showering area with an empty bucket next to it, various small tables and shelves, and finally a bookcase filled with thin books and pamphlets.
Curious about my surroundings I walk over to the bookshelf and grab one of the books and flip it open before sighing as I can't understand the language. Looking at the spines of them all I notice one book I can read the words on and take it before reading the title out loud.
"The days of fire, A historical reiteration of the war between the Gremlin nation and the 'civilized races'. Written by Gremlin archmage Corbet Springsocket." I quickly place the book in my bag and start inspecting the random potions of the shelf before I hear a throat being cleared behind me. I swiftly turn around and have my scimitar in my hand as I take up a defensive position from memory glancing at the woman who just slithered in.
"You should know that you don't need to steal from my collection if you found something interesting. And raising your blade to the one who's been housing your people is extremly disrespectful." The woman hisses, a look of disappointment on her face as she glances back and forth from my blade to my face.
"I'm sorry for the book I just wish to read it, and I apologize for my defense I just did not hear you enter and not knowing whom you are leaves me uneasy." I say defensively as I watch the woman slither slowly towards me and just stare accusingly before I sigh and lower the blade.
"Much better thank you. Now to introduce myself I am Talia. I am the doctor of this small base of survivors and your group brought you to me at Keeg and Zadin's requests." She says and motions for me to follow. As I walk behind her I use inspect out of curiosity.
{Talia, Naga Grand Priestess Level ???? Boss}
The Naga are a proud race of half serpentine half human creatures and members of the centaur tribunal. The Naga are extremly powerful magic users and have a society based around a grand priest or priestess that leads their respective people. Many Naga women awaken magic revolving around elements or healing while men awaken magic that enhances their bodies or hand to hand effectiveness. Only Naga Kings are able to wield both elemental and enhancement magic and when one awakens they will usually kill their high priest or priestess and take over the tribe.
My eyes widen in fear as I watch the women slither before me, he lower snake half a vibrant orange with black stripes running across it. The human half wears a holster top made of wood across her breasts with a thin hooded cloak over her shoulders. Her black hair falls down one shoulder as her other side is shaved bald while her thin frame winds back and fourth as she moves forward before she turns towards me and smiles gently, her golden eyes shining gently in the light of the entryway as he thin lips turn up in a smile.
"You should be very careful when you inspect someone alone, friend. In this case it's safe but if it were an enemy and you were hiding, using that spell would give them a general direction to look in. Now lets get you back to your friends, they've been very worried." Her soft voice says gently as my eyes widen in shock as I nod. Walking outside before her I can't help but gasp as I take in the so called small survivors base.
