Watching the clearing for several more minutes I move towards a small area covered in tall reeds, a small pop up appearing as I dive into the foliage before a trio of the large caulk scuttle past my hiding space while gurgling in their native language. Watching them pass without noticing me I focus on the pop up and smile at the advancement that'll make my job easier.
(Skill Sneak has leveled up! Sneak level 2- Your becoming better at being unobtrusive! When sneaking you will make less noise and get a small increase in movement speed!)
Looking through the reeds I focus further into the area before noticing a large boulder with some type of hut latched to the side of it, long planks acting as legs keeping it hovering several feet above the water as a rough wooden ramp leads to the moistened ground. Watching the building for several minutes I can see all of the surrounding creatures are avoiding getting to close while several of the elementals slowly circle the area as guards. Taking a chance I use inspect on the two types of elementals I can see and smile as they continue their routes without pause while I read over the new information.
(Lesser Mud Elemental Level 24)
Elementals from the plane of earth summoned from bodies of mud. These creatures have basic control over earth and water and are primarily used as easily controlled guards in most area's. Although relatively weak they can take large amounts of damage until their bodies are completely obliterated or their elemental core is shattered. When attacking they attempt to smother their targets and force their bodies into the lungs of enemies until they drown.
(Lesser Water Elemental Level 24)
Elementals from the plane of water summoned from brackish or polluted waters. If to much pollution is found when summoning they have a low chance to mutate into a poison elemental. These beings are summoned primarily as ranged support, their abilities usually only lethal at range. They have been observed drowning enemies that get two close but rarely does this occur due to their elemental core being easily seen within them.
Nodding I focus on one of the water elementals and smile as I see the brightly shining crystal within its chest as its vaguely humanoid body continues to follow the mud elementals around the boulder. Looking around I notice another small area covered in tall reeds several meters ahead of me, my eyes watching the surrounding before I sprint towards the new hiding space. Taking a breath I look behind me and notice two of the elementals in the area wander into the swampy treeline, their bodies disappearing before the Yo's form can be seen briefly charging into their bodies before their forms disappear into the hazy gloom.
'Glad to see they're keeping to the deal and thinning them out a little. Surprised nobody saw anything though.' I think before looking around and noticing cold smiles on several of the toiling slaves faces as I shake my head. Of course if they noticed they're not exactly gonna say anything all things considered. Waiting for several seconds I time my next dash between the elementals rounds, my legs burning as I sprint as quietly as possible through the muddy clearing before diving into a small mound of moss and algae. Shivering at the slimy feeling mingling into my armor and fur I dig the gooey plant muck from around my face and look out to find myself several feet from the ramp leading into the building. Peering into the large structure I notice a pale white creature standing to the side of the doorway, its body steeped in shadow except for a single part of its leg that I inspect.

(Lesser Bone Elemental Level 28)
Lesser bone elementals are beings summoned from aged or mistreated bones, their true forms residing in the plane of the dead as mere foot soldiers to greater elementals of death and darkness. With rudimentary intelligence these creatures make for competent personal guards, their bodies able to withstand much damage as their forms are spiked with brittle and broken remains of the long dead. When under threat their bodies release a deathly chattering sound creating a feeling of unease and fear in their prey.
Watching the unmoving form I try to think of a way to get past it without being noticed, my skillset limited against an opponent like this. Continuing to watch the creature I notice it start to sway towards the door as the guard elementals circle around once again, its body leaning towards the door to watch the duo as it fully brings itself into the light. It has the skull of some form of lizard with a maw of sharp fangs, its body is made up of multiple sets of ribs twined together to form knots and cords of bone, some cracked or mostly broken but held together by some form of magic. Its legs are that of multiple snakes and naga, a tail of chitin and keratin stuck fast to several braided spines while long arms hang by its sides ending in several ribs sharpened to a glistening edge that remind my of scythe's. I watch as the creature attempts to follow after the duo before. It rebounds from the open doorway, a flash of some type of barrier repelling it backwards before the duo pass and the guards focus dims once again. Reading through my skills I look at the wording of one and smile, wondering if it will work as I unsheathe my scimitar and swing it multiple times towards the water at the base of the ramp and wait. Suddenly the water at the base of the ramp begins to splash repeatedly as the bone elemental rushes outside with a chatter before glancing around looking for the source before its eyes land on the duo rounding the corner. With a screech it charges the two and begins slashing at the mud elementals body while I quickly make my way to the ramp and dart up it and into the large buildings open door.
'Made it inside, now I just gotta find this guy and end him. Quietly.....without drawing attention.....shit.' I think slowly as I look around the room and notice the inside is much larger than the outside and remember that this guys a mage of some kind. Sticking to the walls I creep forward, my head swiveling as I listen for any nearby sounds that could mean an enemy before finding a pile of furs I can hide in and check the new notification.
{Your skill Fluid Strikes has evolved! New skill- Fluid Strikes V2 This skill allows you to strike at your opponents fluidly and with skill while attacking. Can also create this effect on liquids and fluids nearby to create distractions.(No more cheesing the system dude!}
Laughing silently I creep from under the furs and notice a water elemental coming from a side room, its core shining dully as it walks towards my area and I tighten the grip on my scimitar. As it passes my hiding spot I activate my new ability and smile as the blade swiftly splits its core in two while causing its watery body to collapse with a splash while I dart into the room it came from and close the door quickly. Looking around the room I shudder as my eyes rove over the several bleached shells of the caulks and yurians outside, their shells and bodies cleaned and organized into neat piles as a new corpse lies in a freshly cleared space.
Focusing on the body I startle as it slowly breathes in a rattling gulp of air before letting it out once again, its beady eyes opening and staring at me as I flinch from its stare while it gurgles out several words in repetition before I can understand its words.
"You don't...belong here.....run.....run..." It gurgles out another time before it wheezes once more and its eyes go dark. I inch myself over and check it over as I realize it's no longer with us, the caulks body so broken that its almost impossible to tell anything other than its general species as I shiver once and make my way towards the door, all thoughts focused on not joining the poor soul as I begin a thorough exploration of the building.
