Today is like any other days - an ordinary, boring day… or so I thought. However little did I know, my ordinary life will come to an end. You see, this morning I wake up late and curses at myself for I forgot to turn on my alarm clock. Yep, a horrible start at the start of the day. I mean, I finally found the courage to step into a school building after a long time and this happen! Oh well, gotta hurry or else I’ll be late for school. I grab the first thing in my closet,  brush my teeth, wash my face and dash outside. No time for makeup, I thought to myself, oh well.

          By the way I live in Brooklyn, in other words, I walk to get to my school. Anyways, on my way there, I saw a mother and her daughter walking ahead of me. 

         Hmm the mother and the little girl is arguing about something… the girl went mad and went into the middle of the road. That is totally dangerous, what if a car drive by. However no car came, which is good, but a truck did. 

         Hmm..interesting, on the side of the truck there are big words painted on the side that says, “How am I driving now… Perfect of course!”. No way! How is that driving perfect? This lousy truck driver did not even slow down when there is a girl in front of his path. Oh wait, he is texting while he is driving.  Isn't that dangerous?! And the girl did not notice the upcoming danger; she is just standing there making funny faces at her mother.

         “Hey you there, stop making faces. Get out of the road!” I shouted but to no avail. Wait! hold on a second, at this rate this innocent child is going to hit by a truck and her mother is standing there horrified.

         “Don't just stand there”, I shouted to the mother, “Do something; She's your child!” Just like the girl, the mother also seems to not hear me. Before I could even stop myself, I run full speed ahead, push the girl out of the way and...yep get hit by the truck instead. The last thing I thought ,before everything went black, was, Wow! What a cliche way to go…
