Minutes after the Celestia had left, the tension had subsided, it's fuming scent still lingering here and there. The adrenaline rush that most likely affected the girl's actions too, had started to fade- and just like any normal human, the Frail girl's legs lost it's strength and she started crying, sobbing while repeating the words "I'm sorry" over and over again as she eyed the human corpse,
Zack got closer to the dead knight, turned off the urge to puke, and with a hesitant yet swift motion, closed the swollen eyes of the man.
The knight lay there with a bloated, battered, red cheek; seemingly forgotten by the very girl he served whom, had left him behind.
"Can't believe they let this thing stay there and made us deal with their shit." The athlete said through gritted teeth, his face had turned red and the tension on the room was once again starting to rise.
Then, he once again, carelessly spoke-
"You know, that man also had a family, so much for complaining about your own huh?" The jumpsuited commented, who now looked fine with the color returning to his face just now, before once again leaving as glares from all directions stabbed him, "what?.. I was only stating facts." He mumbled.
"Facts?" Zack asked him, "what will those do right now? Besides, guilt tripping clearly wouldn't help with, nor elevate the situation at hand no?" He added, unwavering against the hardened glare from the boy in question,
"So, what? Are you wanna blame me again? And then what? You'll become our leader?" He said with eyes that would kill if it could,
"Ok then! We all MIGHT AS WELL LISTEN TO A CHILD THEN!" He yelled, as he looked over the three other people present in the room, "what? I'm kind of right aren't I?"
The hoodied girl scoffed, "yeah, you're a fucking idiot aren't ya? That 'child' was the most level headed person when we got summoned here- Calm enough to actually start a conversation with those people, which, of course helped us recover from our shock. Or in my case, brought me back from my stupor." The girl replied, "You? You looked like the lucky stars that always waited for had finally aligned and everything was in the right place, and the way you leered at the princess while humming was very, very creepy." She added, "So if anything really, I'll follow him over you any day of the week."
"Didn't he think this is just a hallucination?! You think he is somehow better than me?! How could my delusions and his hallucinations be any different!" He loudly complained.
This time, it was the athlete's turn to reply- snorts of air left his throat as he did his best to hold back an uncoming laughter, the teen looked down at him and said- "Whoa Whoa, Whoa! slow down there dude, first off, we didn't say anything about your delusions, it was him." He pointed at Zack "He told you that your expectations are completely fucking bullocks. Which, of course, does have some truth to it: because you clearly didn't get any overpowered ability after I kicked your ass." He gave the teen a shit eating grin before continuing, "you look like a fucking idiot dude, we aren't saying anything against you- YOU'RE the one who came to those conclusions; Hell! I bet none of us here even know who you are! And even if we somehow did, we most likely wouldn't even give a single shit about you to do so. Your just background noise at this point."
The teen paused, looked up at the ceiling, before continuing- "Oh and also, there's the fact that you're comparing yourself to a child." He finished, emphasizing on the word 'fact'
The guy once again had a red face, he looked down- doing his best to hide what he feels in hopes that the one who had just finished talking wouldn't use his fist
"Oohh! He's mad! What did your insecurity translate that for ya? Something along the lines of 'oh my god! Your a fucking idiot and your useless!' Maybe?" The hoodied girl put a finger on her chin as she jerked her head up, her pupils became glazed with a thick fog as she did her best to imitate and look like someone that did their best to think things through.
Her actions elicited a giggle from the girl they were both trying to comfort. "Welp, that made it all worth it," she said, making a 'V' sign with her fingers, smiling brightly as she did.
Going by the rhythm, the girl whom had just recovered- stood up and gave her own jab as well, "imagine being so self fucking centered that you think every single word that comes out of people's mouths is directed towards you, what an absolute and utterly pathetic moron you are. So let me get things straight, I'll give you an example free of charge even!" The thin girl leaned closer, "- this right now, this is me mocking you."
She straightened her posture and gave each teen beside her a look, giving them both a single nod as she did, "And this, is me saying thank you to the two people that comforted and waited for me to recover." She said, turning the single nods earlier into a thankful, half-bodied bow "Yet somehow, despite everything- I would assume that you would turn everything around so you that you are somehow still involved no? Maybe something along the lones of- YOu GuYs dIDn'T leT mE CoMFoRt hEr!', something like that?" The tall woman said, a thin finger placed upon her soft, pink lips.
Walking with a gait that possessed the elegance and control of royalty, the girl made her way near the sullen boy before yelling- "THE UNIVERSE DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOU!"
"Useless fucking cunt." The girl chided as she backed away,
"Looks like you're back to your school days huh? Maybe if you actually minded your own fucking business and kept your words to yourself we wouldn't have had to resort to this shit. You aren't special boy, you never will be." She continued to mock,
"And perhaps, maybe downing on such a realization, you do your best to somehow keep an identity! Awwwwww that's so cute! It's too bad though; the people who you most likely wished talked about you don't even fucking notice that you're there huh? They're too high up in the clouds to even bother and look down enough to see you,"

"And let's be honest here, those people who you think talk about you," the dainty girl leaned in close, they both had a distance of a few feet before she whispered-
"They don't even know you're there. Why? Because everyone minds their own business and because no one, fucking. CARES!"
After she had said that, the atmosphere had come to a stand still- everything became silent to the point that sounds of breathing were once again, the only thing present on the room.
-"Status." A voice so low, not even a murmur caused a ripple.
Zack saw a small box appear infront of the beaten down man's face- the light, and most likely everything that had to do with the unnatural phenomena caused the teen's eyes to sparkle; like a drug addict seeing their dealer carrying their bliss for the first time in a long, long while.
While that happened, the teen's earlier words caused a stir on the once still pond, making ripples through the metaphorical body of water, breaking down the walls that were slowly being built due to the grotesque realization that came with the sudden shift from a tense and heated atmosphere to something calm enough that it let people think things through.
The results of said ripple were as follows:
"The names Jessie, pleasure to meet ya" The hoodied girl, Jessie, introduced herself, sparking a conversation with-
"Zack" the boy replied, taking the oppurtunity that had been passed, the young man chided in for something more casual, something that was wanted and needed to be done by everyone currently present- "anyways, you guys want to add something here?" He added, waving the parchment given to them.
"I'll see what I can do, by the way, I'm Collous," the well built teen replied,
With a sigh, the Frail girl - "Elaine, and,.. Collous? How is that spelled exactly?" - took her turn on the introductions,
The teen spelled out his name, "it's a strange name, but since I was given nanites that would enhance my physical capabilities and heal me when I was born, my mother opted for a name that mixed the two words- collossus and callous" Collous answered
"Nanites?" The other three asked simultaneously,
"Yeah, isn't that basic history? A famous biologist by name of Charles Darwin took interest on the transparent creature that is the jellyfish, finding out that the beings are immortal. Apparently, the papers he had written about his work had inspired a few young and budding scientists enough to take over their interests: Resulting in them studying the animal's microscopic nymphs for decades, and after 70 years of research,- the very first cell sized robots that can aid humans in a microscopic level were made." He answered.
"What?.." were the words that left the mouths of everyone present, even the sulking teen in the corner had the same question- but before anyone could ask and probe any further, someone else had given her own piece-
- "I... also have enhancements," Jessie said as she pulled up her long sleeve, revealing a smooth, robotic, skeletal frame lined with crystal tubes filled with clear blue liquid that moved and circulated on the different glass tunnels that seemingly acted as a vein and an artery respectively. "I'm half machine", she added, pulling up her shirt- showcasing a beautiful black, metallic frame that acted as an exoskeleton to cover and protect her stomach. "Though, I have never heard of Nanites before, and the way you just brushed passed it, suggests that these are supposedly common?" She asked, her eyebrows raised with her arms folded across her chest,
"So I assume we all hailed from different timelines then? Timelines so different yet entirely similar- timelines with the only difference being that the humanity on our respective, specific worlds had chosen different paths to pursue on what to do next. There are most likely other factors, like Collous's people choosing to study something specific for years on end, with it eventually becoming fruitful- there's probably a lot more, like the climates, environements, population, resources and the like, but eh, " Zack theorized, getting a reluctant nod from the three other people.
"Except for genetic enchancements that help me resist and adapt to extreme temperatures and deadly diseases- I'm really not that special, what about you?" Elaine asked, waving around the parchment that had been given to her, "you requested something that is suspiciously described like a beaker, gears, a few more papers, a pencil- overall, just a whole lot of shit that involves science and engineering. I don't think a child your age should even be near this sort of stuff, let alone hold them." The girl said as she gave him an awfully mischievous smile.
Zack crossed his arms and smiled back,"Well,.. I do have a cabinet filled with achievements." The boy retorted, "Creating the world's first Anti aging pill, Inventing machines that fully utilize solar power, etc. I can list a few more, but there's really no need is there?"
To that, Jessie smiled, "Hmmm,.? Interesting, but eh; the world is full of geniuses, what's the difference of one that has a cabinet chock full of rewards due world changing inventions and a few more less promising, yet capable scientists that will no doubt, in one way or another achieve the same? Even if it takes them time."
"Progress my dear, progress. You can argue that yes, the very same things that we all have will no doubt come to humanity in the near future if they don't wipe themselves out, but, you cannot argue against the fact that faster progress means that the smaller time-span necessarry for such things to be built and invented will in no doubt, let humanity, or any other sapient race out there, pursue even greater things no?"
"Still, I just wanted to say you know, that your achievements are most likely not that special..." Zack snorted, "you know? SO THAT YOUR HEAD DOESN'T SHOVE ITSELF UP YOUR ASS SIMILAR TO WHAT IT'S DOING NOW." The girl's sudden screams caused the others who were focusing on her to yelp, "stop looking at me like that you piece of shit!" Jessie growled,
"Assuming that his story is to be believed of course." Collous added,
"Indeed," Zack replied, "Anyways! What year is it on your earth exactly?" He asked, scratching the back of his head. "You know what's in here Jessie?"
"The Cold Year of 2110, a microchip. I don't know what kind of purpose it has though, too many defenses," She replied.
"A microchip?" Collous asked,
"Sort of, and,.. not really, It's a semi organic metal made from a mixture of enamel and gold, it essentially is some sort of vertebra, acting as both my spine and spinal cord simultaneously." Zack replied "So!" The young man clapped his hands, "First and foremost, as you probably have concluded by now, I am not a normal 12 year old boy"
"Who would've guessed?" Elaine asked,
"Observant people." Zack retorted smiling. "I am the son of quite the famous geniuses back in my world; and, given the the futuristic time period- I was born, raised, and upgraded to not only take up their mantle, but to surpass them as well.
"Thus, in one way or another, I both possess robotic enchancements and have been genetically engineered." He said, hovering his hands up and down his body.
"My regular lifespan, if I am correct, is null. For I will not die of old age." The kid bragged, "And I have a spinal cord full of complicated wires and units that would essentially be only used and found on a super computer's mother board connected to the microchips on my brain. So I guess, In essence- I am just an organic super computer." He nonchalantly said, the problems that he had back home will no longer follow him here, not anymore.
"And nanites?"
"Sorry Callous, I don't have any, my sister was on her way on making self sustaining nanites, but I assume it would still take her a year before she finishes." He replied.
"And... uh, for how long has she been researching and testing said nanites?" Elaine asked,
"It has only been 2 months I do believe, why?"
"Ah, so your sister is a supercomputer as well?"
"Yeah. All three of us siblings are."
