Lupa looks exhausted but stands up ready to defend us. Aleem pulls me close eyeing the snake as it circles around us.
“Oh… You didn’t know I couldn’t die did you Sister? I am the greatest killing machine in all of creation. No one or thing can kill me.” It starts to close in on us as Aleem whispers in my ear.
“It has to eat itself Zona. That is the only way.” I frown at that. How the fuck am I supposed to get it to eat itself? Lupa goes to attack it but it easily knocks her into the castle with his tail. It slowly moves to her getting ready to eat her.
“Finally my revenge is complete.” It opens it’s mouth wide and as it goes to eat her. I panic and yell at it.
“You’re wrong! You can be killed.” The snake stops and looks at me.
“Oh don’t worry girl. You will be next.” It turns back to Lupa as I throw a nearby rock at him.
“Coward!” The snake turns to me angry. It stops seeing Lupa trying to prevent it from coming to me. A slow smile spreads across it’s face as he pins Lupa to the wall with it’s tail.
“Guess I can take your second choice in human then Sister!” Lupa tries to stop him but he moves fast towards me. Aleem jumps out of the way as I jump on it’s side. I take my dagger stabbing it deep to hold on. It hisses in anger, “You want to ride girl? Fine by me.” It takes off away from the castle going down alleyways and through buildings. I get hit with sand and stone trying to hold on for dear life. Just a little further. Once we get out into an open area, I let go falling to the ground. The snake starts to laugh as it circles around me. “Ready to die girl?” I slightly smile standing up slowly taking off the dampening stone.
“No. Are you?” It tries to strike me but I drop dampening stone necklace. I blast the snake full of flames. It hisses and thrashes about trying to put out the fire. I quickly spray the ground around me with fire trying to create a groove into the ground. I switch my focus between the snake and the ground. I complete the groove and focus on the snake as I feel something pierce my stomach. I feel blood fill my mouth as the flames disappears. I drop to me knees seeing a blood spot in my shirt. The snake shakes his head of the final flames as it stares at me.
“... Foolish girl.” It removes his tail from my back as it slowly comes to me. “I haven’t had a great meal in years. You will do nicely.” It opens his mouth as I stare into it. A hear a man in the distance yell something.
“You never learn do you Siver.” The snake stops and looks toward the man. I notice a fear come across the snake as it slowly backs away.
“Impossible. I made sure you were dead. I tore you limb from limb. You can’t be alive.” I look towards to the man. He had shaggy blonde hair and light blue eyes. He has a warrior look about him. However, he wore very plain clothes. He smiles slowly walking to Siver.
“You know they really can’t kill a hero Siver. Now let’s finish this.” Siver hisses and tries to strike at this man. He simply jumps out of the way. He climbs over Siver running along it’s back. Siver tries to wrap around the man but the man is too quick for him. Soon Siver is in a big clump of knots as it struggles to get out. The man comes over to me as I apply pressure to my wound. “So.. You are this hero that she keeps talking about?” Siver hisses at the man.

“I will feast upon your flesh Alexander! Just wait!” He turns away from Siver shaking his head.
“It’s over Shiver. You can’t get out by yourself.” I slowly feel my wound start to burn as I wince.
“Foolish mortal. I am Siver, the ultimate killing machine. I am the greatest killer in all of history. Nothing can trap me.” I look at Alexander.
“Alexander? I thought..” He looks at me as we hear a crunching sound coming from Shiver. Alexander goes wide eye and looks at Siver. Siver slowly is eating itself trying to free itself. I see something come over it’s face as it starts to eat itself quicker. Alexander looks away as I feel my wound slowly close. I stand up feeling slightly weak picking up my dampening stone. I put it back on to see that all that’s left of Shiver is a dark blood stain. I look at Alexander, “You’re alive?” He looks at me smiling slightly as I feel some sand tickling down on me. We both look up and see sand falling all over the great underground city. Alexander looks at me
“You need to get to your friends and leave.” I nod and look towards the castle. I quickly run to it hoping that he is following me. By the time, I get there half of the city is filling up with sand. Aleem is tending to Lupa as he hears me approach. He looks at me looking relieved.
“Oh thank the gods. We need to leave now.” He goes to grab my hand as Lupa is asleep. I frown knowing that both of us can’t carry her. I gulp and look at Aleem.
“We aren’t leaving her Aleem.” I say with a mix of sadness and seriousness in my voice. He frowns.
“We can’t carry her Zona. Every second we waste down here, the less time we have to get out. So we need to…” He stops as he sees Alexander walk past us. He looks super confused, “... What the…” Alexander bends down and lightly kisses Lupa’s forehead. I frown at that feeling slightly jealous at the act. Wait… why? Lupa slowly opens her eyes and she is still in her over form. She smiles looking the happiest I have ever seen her. Alexander gently places his face against her’s.
“I missed you my darling.” Lupa starts crying as she rests her head against him.
“I.. did everything I could Alexander…” He smiles nodding slowly.
“I know.. it’s almost time for me to go back..” Lupa looks sad and attempts to hug him. She gets her right arm around him as he hugs her close. “I need you to get out of here. Save the world and I will be waiting for you on the other side.” He slowly starts to disappear as Lupa clings to him with her one arm.
“Just a few more seconds.. I.. love you..” He fades away after giving her a loving kiss. She starts crying as her hair fades back to white and her eyes go back to light purple. She keeps crying standing up. I go to her as she puts her right arm over me. “I’m… sorry.. Zona..” She is back to her old self. I hug her close.
“It’s okay Lupa.. You were perfect..” Aleem grabs both us and we start to head to the opening. By the time we get there, the entire city is completely filling up. Aleem looks at me.
“Shoot some flares up into the opening.” Lupa collapses against me as I am barely able to keep her up. Aleem panics taking her from me, “Do it!” I muster up and concentrate as a few flames shoot out of the opening. For a few seconds, nothing happens. I go to grab Lupa as I feel a gush of wind pick us up and quickly bring us out of the underground city. The sun is blinding as we quickly are placed on the sand. Without even thinking of anything else, I go to Lupa and start tending to her wounds. Aleem tries to get his bearings as he stops. “Zona.. Get up.” I glare at him.
“No. Alistar grab some bandages!” The demonic suited man speaks.
“All of you are under arrest.” I frown getting angry and look at him. He has Alistar in chains and a large group of soldiers surrounding us. I feel anger slowly build up in me as demonic suited man places his sword to Alistar’s neck. I frown looking down at Lupa. Aleem gets close to me and whispers in my ear.
“We can’t win this now. We have to surrender.” I feel the anger bubble back up in me and I suppress it.
“Let me treat Lupa and we will go peacefully.” The demonic man puts his sword away.
“Agreed.” The soldiers swarm us placing us in carts and giving me supplies to treat Lupa. I quickly dress her wounds and cleaning her arm. I look worried at her left arm and sit down next to her as we travel back to the Green Belt. Aleem and Alistar in the other cart chained together. Lupa and me are chained to a steal cart. The demonic man rides a black horse next to us. I slowly fall asleep holding Lupa’s hand.
