Alex had gotten quite a repertoire now, he wondered how strong he was. Thinking back on it sadly he didn't get a chance to use his > Venomous Sting <, he was too engrossed to even think about it. He scowled at the thought, but he knew he would have plenty of time later. Looking down at his clothes he realized how dirty they were. He knew he would need to stay on top of that when he entered civilization.

Alex figured he would need to clean up before he got close to the capital, so he looked around for a body of water to wash up in. Alex looked around and saw the river that was running downhill earlier, while the road led to a forested area there were still open areas here and there. Near one such opening area was the river.

But before Alex set off to clean he wanted to completely destroy all evidence of his affairs. He had cleaned the blood and bodies but had failed to clean the most important piece of evidence, the caravan. Walking over to a lantern that had gotten knocked off in the scuffle Alex picked it up. Staring at the wooden caravan Alex tossed the lantern on it, it shattered on impact, and it quickly lit up in flames. The wood and cloth seemed to be made of very flammable materials as it barely took any time to fully burn.

Staring at the hot embers Alex grimaced. He had a chuckle to himself. It seemed no matter what world he was in the fire of destruction would always follow him.

---

It was early in the night when Alex saw the gates of Galdraxia. There were massive, at least 20m tall, they were fully made of stone, although they did have some wooden-looking embossments around the edges. The walls were grand, eerily so.

Alex had seen more signs of human civilization as he had gotten closer. Tall trees were cut down, large farms were scattered about, and there were small residences scattered here and there. The scenery had truly reminded Alex of movies he had seen back on earth, it looked exactly like something you'd see out of 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' or even something out of 'Princess Bride'. The houses themselves looked like early London, although from what he had seen so far, everything seemed cleaner than early London.

Alex wondered for a moment whether it was bad to arrive in the middle of the night, from what he knew, earlier civilizations had curfews, he didn't know if it would be weird to arrive. But he continued forward anyway, while he liked staying out at night he truly didn't know how safe it was. Hell, he'd almost gotten killed once, and that happened in the middle of the day.

Alex soon saw what looked to be a toll booth near a wide iron gate. It was dark out but there were some streetlights along the road. They looked to be using electricity as they were bright, but from what Alex saw, there were no street poles. He chalked this up to something magical, that or they just had cables underground.

Getting ever closer to the booth Alex saw a guard slouching in his chair, he had a book over his face to cover it. He looked deep asleep, he sounded it too, loud snoring echoed throughout the empty street. As he got right next to it he knocked on the wooden countertop. Startled the guard awoke with a loud "AIEE".

Before the guard could get a chance to catch his bearings Alex spoke, "Excuse me sir, I have a permit to go inside, may I... Go inside?"

The guard still not fully awoke looked Alex in the eyes, those deep, purple eyes stared back. The guard almost fell out of his chair before he collected his calm. Something didn't settle right with him, but he did his job.

"Of course, papers please.", the guard reached out his hand to Alex.

Alex handed the paper he'd gotten earlier to the guard.

With a trained motion the guard inserted the paper into a slot below the countertop, some weird symbols formed in the air when he did. Taking the paper out, the guard handed it to Alex.

"Alright, your entry has been approved, that permit can only be used one more time. Welcome to Galdraxia, enjoy your stay.", A wide-toothy smile formed on the guard's face as he did a little bow in his chair.

As Alex took his permit back he saw a small door open near the iron gate. His expectations were a little distraught as he thought they would lift the big iron gate to let him in.

Walking through the door Alex was greeted by a most surreal sight. It truly looked like something out of London, the buildings themselves were medieval, but the bright lights would say otherwise. It really looked like Tokyo with all the floating lights, there even seemed to be some floating ads. It seemed like something out of the future.

Alex was honestly a little overwhelmed, he didn't know where to begin. He was feeling a little tired so he figured he'd go to an inn before he set out on his goal. But first, he had to find one.

The streets were fairly busy, it seemed this city didn't sleep even during the night. A city that never sleeps he thought, it reminded him of his hometown, New York. Walking through the winding streets Alex was greeted by several fascinating sights. For one the people here seemed rather unique. There were all sorts of races he'd never seen before, such as animal-humans, lizard people, and elves? It was hard to describe the wide ethnic diversity, It was almost like all the races on earth were compacted in one city. Secondly, he saw some people flying on brooms, like actual brooms. He was really fucking confused. It was like he just stepped into a Studio Ghibli movie.

Alex eventually saw what looked like to be an inn, he knew because there was a poster girl shouting out on the streets.

"CHEAP ROOMS! CHEAP FOOD! 7/10 STARTS ACCORDING TO ZALTHALABAGOR!"

She seemed really desperate, she even ran up to some strangers and tried pulling them to the inn. But all adamantly refused.

Although Alex was brought out of his trance as he noticed the girl rushing towards him. Alex felt the urge to torture her, but he held back. She was truly his perfect victim, she was really beautiful, easily a 10/10. Perfect features, a rotund posterior, and a moderate bosom.

"Come here stranger! I promise we can provide you with the best service this side has!"

Alex was almost lost in her emerald eyes, he swore he would get them soon. Needing a place to catch a break Alex followed her in.

Alex was greeted by a busy sight, there was a bar on the first story and it was packed. Looking around he saw some scantily dressed waiters getting grabbed on the ass by older folk. It was a strange sight, it genuinely looked like something out of a movie.

The girl dragged Alex to a front desk. Finishing her goal the girl left without a word, although she did glance back to Alex thinking he was rather attractive. She soon stopped any thoughts she had when she saw his clothes, he was clearly a peasant.

Someone instantly came out from beneath the counter, they seemed a little out of breath, oddly enough they had some kiss marks on their neck.

"What can I do for you sir?"

Alex replied "I want a room for a singular night please"

"That'll be one silver sir"

Fiddling around in his pockets Alex pulled out a coin he scavenged from the caravan earlier. It looked silver in color so he figured it was a silver coin. He handed it to the keep.

"Aright your room will be on the second floor, it's room 177, it's far on the left."

Alex grabbed the keys the man handed him and turned to the staircase on his right.

"One more thing sir, can you write down your name here? We need to keep books you know."

Alex turned around with some anger, this was getting annoying. He forgot how worthless humans were. He walked back to the countertop and wrote down a fake name 'Adam Naverm'. He wasn't dumb enough to write down his real name, but he still wanted a name he liked.

Finishing up Alex turned around again, and when he did the keep ducked back under the countertop laughing with raunchiness in his voice.

---

Alex quickly found his room, pushing the key in the keyhole he opened it. He was greeted by a sad sight, everything looked dusty, it looked unclean. His bed looked cheap, the tableside desk was off kilt. And the desk near a window was missing a leg. He knew he had gotten scammed. While he didn't know how much one silver coin was he knew it could've afforded something better than this.

He felt pissed, he promised to make that keep suffer. Alex was a petty person, and he would remember this.

Sitting down on his bed after locking the door kicked up some dust. Alex rubbed his brow as he heard the loud sounds coming from below. Whatever world he was in he swore he would fix it, this annoyed him to no extent. Standing up Alex smashed the tableside desk. He was really fucking mad. He lost steam soon and collected himself.

Alex walked over to the window, he stared out it. The bright lights of habitation made him realize that in whatever world intelligent beings were in they would always be the same. He gripped the banister as he swore to correct this world. His vow was to set this town ablaze to make them realize how stupid they were. He vowed to take away what was most important to living beings, their life.
