Alex was truly happy, even with the minuscule amount of games he has played he could tell this was a 'killer' ability. Yet Alex's train of thought was quickly interrupted as he felt a pulling from behind him.
Alex was so caught up in his own delusions he forgot where he was, and turning his head to look behind him he was startled by the pure nothingness of this void. But that wasn't the only thing that startled him. A spiral-looking formation of purple and violet was swirling behind him, it was getting larger by the second.
Startled, Alex tried moving away only to realize how futile that was, he could gain no movement in this place devoid of gravity. Oddly enough thinking of this made him realize he was able to breathe this entire time. Surely a place devoid of everything would be devoid of breathable air as well, but all Alex could do was put that aside for later.
Alex struggled desperately to get away as he was pulled closer, and closer but nothing seemed to work. Just as he was about to touch the portal he...

A masculine voice resounded in what seemed to be a stone room, it was scarce of light and littered with rubble. Situated in the middle of the room appeared to be a spiraling vortex getting larger.
"Sister Anrea, are you sure we have no other options?", "Surely you can't be thinking of summoning another one of those cretins!", the voice boomed with anger near the end of his sentence
A lovely voice soon replied, albeit hesitant in her vocalization.
"Captain Morieal surely you know our situation. We simply have no other alternative, as much as they are stigmatized, they are powerful.", "I am willing to risk it if it means we can save lives today, I am more worried about saving future generations than I am about our wellbeing."
Captain Morieal soon Replied, "I know, I just have a bad history with them. I am hesitant in trusting them when they... killed my wife.", Morieal had sadness in his voice as he recalled his bloody past.
This summoning Morieal and Anrea were doing was dangerous, after all, there was no guarantee the person on the other side would be good. All they knew is that by performing this ritual they could summon someone to help them, they were generally all powerful. This ritual let many legends be born. They would have preferred not to do it if they could, they didn't want to take those chances
But they were desperate for help, their village was a frontier village furthest on the border, they literally had no one else to rely on. Lives were at stake, and Anrea was willing to bet on those odds, little did they know they were summoning a demon. Hell, maybe even a demon-summoning would have been less dangerous.

Captain Moriel responded with a dire connotation in his voice as he stared, and gulped at the vortex, swallowing his fear while waiting anxiously, "I just hope we made the right call."
---
"SON OF A BIIIIITCHHHHH!!!!" Alex yelled as he touched the vortex feeling an overwhelming sense of nausea. And for the first time, in a long time, Alex felt 'true hunger'.
Alex was kneeling on the ground with one hand on his knee and the other on the ground, his eyes were closed, and his posture rigid, yet there was a fire in his breath, and a madness just waiting to get out from behind his closed eyes.
Anrea was the first to start speaking "Traveller from another world we need your help.
Alex held up his index finger, telling them to shut up. He wanted a moment to get his bearings.
Anrea quickly voiced out "It is urgent, we desperately need your help, we can't wait, please!"
Captain Morieal was standing beside Anrea, hesitant to say anything. He was trying to judge this person's character, and quite frankly he had a bad feeling. When Morieal was looking him up and down he noticed something odd, his hands, mouth, and face were covered in blood. Morieal was just about to shout and shove Anrea out of the way when he spotted this. But by then it was too late.
Alex opened his eyes, and faster than either Morieal or Anrea could dodge he cut off their heads with his favorite clever in hand. Alex was sprayed with their blood, and feeling this he started laughing madly "HAHAHHAHAHAHAHhahahahHAHAHA".
Captain Morieal felt weightless, he flew up in the air and he finally got a good look at Alex. Long black hair, dark violet eyes, defined features, tall, yet something was off about him. He looked demonic, this aura was radiating off of him, and Morieal knew "We lost the bet".
...
Alex ran his blood-soaked fingers through his hair, pushing it out of the way as he finished laughing his guts outs, "Another ungrateful bitch, asking before doing anything herself, how laughable.".
Suddenly a dinging noise resounded in his head, it said > Level-up <. Alex paid this no mind as his hunger was messing with his head.
Alex glanced back towards the two bodies on the floor and remembered how he hadn't eaten anything all day, he felt voracious. Alex glanced down at the bodies one more time before he unhinged his jaw to monstrous proportions and gulped them in his mouth, the scene was horrendous, truly horrible. His mouth was full, like a squirrel with nuts in his mouth. Crunching down the sound of broken bones resounded out, darkly lighting up the room with horrible reverberations. Human flesh composed of bones and fleshy bits made for horrible sounds. Like wet noodles mixed with dried pasta.
Alex said to himself "Could use some salt." as he licked his lips.
Looking around the room now that no one was there to interrupt him, he noticed a large staircase leading up he didn't see before. Wanting to find some more food to fill his appetite, he started walking up the staircase. Quickly in a matter of a couple of seconds, he reached the top, a door was in his way. Angry at this obstruction, he kicked it down.
As the door flew off the hinges it crushed a nearby guard who was waiting for Morieal and Anrea. Taking a step forward Alex was greeted with a room full of people. To his left 5 guards drew their swords, and to his right, a similar scene appeared.
Suddenly a guard near the left spoke up "Where are Anrea and Morieal!". Alex replied, stepping to the side while hiding his knife, "Right behind me. Why don't you take a look?", he said this with a master-grade poker face. His ploy would've worked if he wasn't covered in blood.
The same guard spoke up again "Nice try, I see your clearly covered in blood, you MONSTER, what did you do with them?!".
Alex responded with a horrible grin on his face, not caring for his act, "They are right here with you.".
An all-out battle ensued next. Alex ran towards the first guard on his left and quickly dispatched him. With some dexterity, he used his body as leverage as he catapulted himself to the next. He killed 4 before anyone could react. Suddenly the last guard closest to him shouted "HE'S SKILLED, BE CAREFUL!".
The other 5 guards ran closer, starting a formation. While they were finishing up a shield wall Alex cut off the arms of the guard closest to him while he was in a moment of hesitation. A loud shout ensued coming from the formation in front of him "CHARGE!". And for once this battle Alex fell on defense, he may be skilled, but he wasn't skilled enough to charge right into their perfected formation.
As they got closer swords emerged from the cracks near the middle of the formation, one got lucky enough to hit Alex in the leg as he was busy dodging the rest. He was racked with a sense of pain he never felt before. Alex shouted in pain and anger "YOU MOTHERFUCKING BITCH, YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT". Alex suddenly had a thought, this entire fight he hadn't tried his abilities.
So he wanted to see what they did, while dodging Alex looked toward the guard on the left and thought 'mark'. Suddenly he felt a connection with that guard. He could feel how scared and how nervous this guard was, he felt his fear. Suddenly there was a flaw in the formation, taking this chance Alex grabbed a shied and used it as leverage to toss himself on the other side. He quickly slashed the neck of the one he marked and he saw a big difference. When his head flew off he saw his shied get split in half as well.
Finding a new strength Alex quickly marked three more people. But these guards seemed more skilled than the rest, they quickly changed formations for a Wedge attack and rushed back towards him. Now feeling their emotions Alex felt a sense of pride and anger resonate within them.
As the wedge formation neared and as Alex back off they switched to a wedge pincer, in which one person broke off from the side and attacked his now defenseless side. But Alex was no pushover, he dodged the side attack and quickly retaliated when he was defenseless. Now with one more comrade dead, Alex felt their despair and fear, and he started beaming with happiness. He truly loved to see this emotion splayed on their pathetic faces.
With their main formation failing Alex took advantage of that and kill them off quickly. Reveling in the bloodshed he looked towards the one guard he spared, preparing to get some answers.
