“Another title!?” He used Mana Armor and unlike casting the spell manually using the skill was nearly instant. He took a look at the barrier and noticed it was far sturdier than before, next he tested the duration.
He was confused when 5 seconds passed and it was still there but when he took his mind off of it he was surprised when the spell didn't immediately dispel. when 5 more seconds passed and it disappeared he had his answer. ‘So the duration only counts when I'm not focusing on maintaining the spell.’
He then took a look at his status. “30 stat points huh.” He was planning to save his points until he knew what build to go for, but after feeling the power of mana strike he no longer had any doubt but before that he tested a theory of his.
He tried putting a point each in luck and charisma and when nothing happened his theory was confirmed “So no putting points in luck or charm huh not that i planned to anyway.” He shrugged and got back to it.
He wanted to use mana as often as possible and because of his new title he wasn't lacking in power so wisdom would be his main stat for now. following his thoughts he put 22 in wisdom 5 in intelligence 2 in agility and 1 in strength when he mentally confirmed he felt a rush of energy far greater than last time.
He felt most of it stay around his solar plexus and only some in his muscles. After it was done he excitedly brought up his new status screen.

“1 mana a minute nice i'll have to grind the meditation skill to improve it further.” With that done he started hedging down the corridor. ‘Those slimes have no idea what is coming to them.’
----------------------------------------
He’s been at it for 2 hours now and he's killed 6 more slimes. His strategy of using mana armor worked flawlessly, the slimes couldn't damage it at all, making them easy pickins. He constantly keeped a part of his thoughts on maintaining the armor to save mana, so a decent chunk has regenerated now.
He gained one more level and he split the points between strength and agility and put the extra one in endurance. He also leveled mana amor 3 times making it level 4 and it was visibly tougher now.
He turned the corner and expected another slime but instead he saw a small green humanoid holding a rusty dagger. He quickly ducked back behind the counter ‘is that a goblin!?’ He smiled excited for something different to fight but as he was about to ran to attack it he stopped himself
He's read stories where goblins were just another race but most of them depicted them as bloodthirsty monsters. ‘Should I take the risk…no even if it's a small chance, I can't risk killing an innocent person.’
He went to go talk to it, but before that he changed the mana armor on his hand into a mana strike. Maybe it was because the both cost the same amount of mana, it cost nothing to swap between the two
He put his hand behind his back and stopped a few feet away from the creature “Hello can you understand me?” the goblin immediately spun around and snarled at him and he saw the that it had blood red eyes “Shit!” the goblin lunged at him.
He quickly took his fist from behind his back and punched the thing right in its ugly face

The goblins head exploded and blood and chunks of brain went everywhere “Christ that’s disgusting!” He sat down and meditated to calm his mind. He knew he would have to get used to gore if he wanted to get stronger but he didn't expect it to be that quite that graphic.
After 10 minutes he felt back to normal and saw that his meditation skill leveled up twice. He opened his eyes and forced himself to look at the gore. ‘The sooner I get used to this the better.’ Every time started feeling sick he began to meditate. He repeated this until he felt nothing looking at the gore. He sighed and stood up. His meditation skill was now level 9 just one away from the max. He walked over to the body and picked up its dagger.
He then looked down the corridor “Time to find more goblins.”
