The World At War! and more Blog - 001
World At War! The first true VR MMORPG, financed by top companies from all over the world and supported by every government that has any say on Earth's international politics. The master AI of World At War! was created by a research team that included the top scientist of their time. As for the game itself, experts from all fields were gathered to make it as realistic, jet fun, and engaging as possible. Well, that is as far as I bother to research the political background of the game. I know the game is not just an RPG from all the news and advertisements. It also has tower defense mechanics. Although the gameplay of the two modes ( adventurer for role players and lords for tower defense players ) varies greatly, jet players are still made to interact with each other. This is great because I want to play as a lord, but it would suck if I had to play alone in an MMO, or maybe not, I don't know.
I want to start the game already, but I guess all the essential information should be taken out of the way first so I won't have to go plugging it in later on, right? To begin with, let me explain what is meant by the first actual VR game out there. Most individuals that are not living under a rock will already know that up till recently, VR implied a pair of goggles that displayed the game. Individuals would also have controllers that would allow movement in the game itself. All that was the norm until a prosthetic limb company (whose name I do not know and will not look for, do it yourselves) made a breakthrough in their research. Allowing their intelligent limbs to receive signals from the brain and react as a regular limb would. No, I don't know how it works, and truthfully I do not care. The important thing is that other more intelligent people did know, and they did care. One of the tech giants bought the technology as soon as it was released. Then, they recreated it, learned how it worked and expanded on it. Now instead of moving artificial limbs, we move entire characters within games. Tada! That's how the core technology of World At War! Came to be. World At War! as previously mentioned, it is a massive project that involves pretty much the entire planet. Once again, I affirmed my status as a regular civi; I do not know!! The game's purpose or ideals, nor the profit divisions behind the scenes.

I know that the game pods can be rented and taken home, or individuals can get a contract at a pod hotel. The pods are bed-sized, egg-shaped, "futuristic"-looking machines for those who have not seen one jet. It's super simple to buy ( rent ) one. All you have to do is go to a World At War! Physical store and speak with an agent. After filling out the required information and giving your payment details, you will be the proud owner ( renter / and will receive it anywhere between 5-15 business days, depending on demand ) of a world at war pod. For those who are not willing to pay the 500$ monthly payments of a pod, you have the option of a pod hotel. (It used to be called pod cafe, but people started to sell their homes and just sleep in the pods, so it was renamed ) The pod hotels are a whopping 200$ cheaper at the mear price of 300$ a month. I hear the price decrease is because of the simplified logistics and maintenance fees from having so many pods in close proximity.
Oof, that was a lot of information, most of which most of you will not care about, But you all know me ... wait, you probably don't know me. I just noticed that I forgot to include my customary introduction. Here is a short introduction for the passersby who do not know me. My name is Alejandro; most just call me Ale. I am a Hispanic American currently living at a pod hotel in Florida. I have a 9 to 5 job and write for fun because my skills don't allow me to survive off of writing. I'm not poor, though ( for those of you wondering ). I chose to live at the pod hotel because I am a single dog and spend most of my free time in the pod anyways, so way not. The pods are most known for the World At War game, but they have other options like virtual homes, access to the internet, and the likes. Some masters (Original modders ) turned their virtual homes into amusement parks, theaters, resorts, and more. They made them public and charged the visitors a small fee. This was allowed by all governments worldwide. Some of them even actively encouraged it. ( Japon, I'm looking at you. The pods really helped with your lack of space problem ) Of course, everyone has to pay taxes. That is an unchanging universal law.
Haha, Noticed I went off-topic? Well, I did not until it was too late. So with introductions and random information out of the way, we can finally start with the game. Tomorrow of course because it's late and I have to work tomorrow hahaha see you all next time. ( PS. Thanks for reading. I might do it for fun, but I do Appreciate having readers. Remember to leave comments, and if you have questions, write a comment. I will try to answer them next time )
