Introduction

Everyone is watching me, struggling to say something to this intimidating boy.

"I-"

"That is enough, Rufus, go to your seat," A deep voice echoes into the silent room. I turn to see who had spoke, only to see a tall, tan man with fair features. His long, blond hair flutters as if there is wind in the room, lightly touching the floor before fluttering again. His bare chest is covered with scars and ancient tattoos. Powerful, wizard symbols decorated one side of his chest while the other side is covered in vampiric symbols. He must share a connection to both sides, I thought as I struggle to regain my composure. His long, white pants glide against the floor and tangled in his hair as he seemly floats towards me.

"I see our new student, Legolas Bloom, has arrived," he says, turning to me with his arms spread in greeting, "I am Elijah Fra, or Mr. Fra to you, young elf."

He reaches out to shake my hand, which I accept wholeheartedly. I notice his fangs appearing out of his smile, a way to confirm his vampire aide. I slowly pull away as the hush voices begin.

"Why is he here?" "I thought no elves were allowed here." "What does a weak species got to do with us?"

I turn pink with embarrassment as the harsh whispers engulfs the room. Mr. Fra turns to the class with a deafening stare, the room silences immediately.

"Please, Legolas, find a seat and get out your things." I walk to a seat as I realize that elves are rare to be seen outside of their villages, which might explain why everyone is surprised to see me. We elves are seen as weak because of our bodies appearing to be fragile and petite. Our magick isn't deemed as strong, we aren't as tall and we foolishly named lower than common woodland creatures. A rage begins to boil inside me as I think of how ignorant my peers are to carry down the assumptions of their ancestors. Knowing they haven't seen an elf in centuries. Not knowing the power elves contain. I internally cuss each and everyone out as I open up the book assigned to this class.

"Hey, hey, elfy," I hear a low raspy voice laced with a French accent from the right of my desk. Confused, I look to see who is calling for me. The wizard who I saw battling from earlier Up close, he is very handsome, with jet black hair that only shaped his sharp jawline. The edge of his cupid bow lips slightly curved up, waiting for an opportunity to burst out into a smile. His olive tone skin enhances his emerald green eyes, which his long lashes help compliment. His uniform is ruffled with his tie undone, resting around his neck.

"Hi" I reply back to him.

"Hey, I am Joshua Vernier but call me Josh. Nice to meet ya, elfy" he smiles and looks back to the front. I look at him for a second before I look back to the front of the class. Mr. Fra is lighting candles and closing the blinds, making it even darker. He walks back to the front and maintains eye contact with us.

A warm feeling floats through the air as Mr. Fra begins to speak,

"Class, we will be learning today about the war that brought us together as a nation; The Majii War" As his last few words seems to echo through the room, the room itself begins to change. The dark red color that once filled the room with anger and discomfort, has now been turn to a forest with beautiful, tall trees, blueberry bushes and zinnia flowers surrounding our desks. The imagery expands showing a village of werewolves. People with furry ears sticking out of their hair walk around, working on making sure their village stays on task. Little children frolick across the grass, occasionally reaching out to catch an insect or to grab a flower. It seems so calm and beautiful until Mr. Fra's words interrupt the scenery.

"Each species was separated by species, never allowed to live amongst each other. They rarely saw the other groups who inhabited the world with them. They all worked together within their species and focused on helping them survive; Werewolves worked on their transformation between their wolves and human forms, Vampires managed their blood lust by training young ones to eat small animals, Warlocks trained each other with their curses and hexes, and Wizards worked on their spells and potions.

" As a village of Werewolves work throughout the day, an evil lurked in the shadows of the forest, waiting the perfect time to strike. Egar, a great creature of the forest, wanted to take over the villages of the powerful magical species. He wanted to abuse the powers of these species to his own benefits. First, his aim was Werewolves.

"He had a magic cane that will help him conquer these villages, which he stole it from a powerful wizard. Egar creeps out of the forest ready for take over this village. He walked through the village, werewolves gawking at him, children running towards their parents to protect them.

"As he reach the middle of the village, he slammed his cane to the ground, shaking the surrounding houses. Egar yelled out a demand to see the leader of the village, slamming his cane on the ground. It caused the villagers to gather around the strange creature. The children hid behind their parents in fear. The leader of the village walked through the crown to approach the great creature and spoke to him.

"What are you doing here, you're scaring our children!" The leader steps closer to him.

Egar turned to that man, a viciously smile spread across his face as it turns into a sickening, cold laugh.

"I am here to take your village, rape your women and take children and turn them into slaves, and kill you along with your men," he replied still laughing, "However, if you comply and willingly surrender yourself and your boys over to my army, we'll allow you quarter."Murmurs echoed throughout the village, as everyone stepped away from the two men. Children grabbed their mothers' dresses for some form a safety, spouses grabbed their other halves in worry, yet they listened keenly to hear what their leader would say.The leader was startled by such an offer, but he regain his composure."We'd rather die before serving a creature of the forest, the lowest and weakest magick species after elves." Egar laughed in the leader's face before saying, "Then you'll die."

The leader began transforming into his wolf form but not before Egar pointed his staff at him and spoke ancient words. A light blasted out of the tip and hit the wolf in his chest, stopping his full transformation. He hit the floor with a thud, and was killed instantly. Everyone started screaming, children ran to hide in small places, the leader's wife fainted, but most were too stunned to start running. They stared as Egar slowly approaches the corpse and bent down. He sits down near the corpse's head, taking a deep breath. He gently caress the head, kisses it and began to whisper ancient words. He placed the head down and stood up. He faced the remaining people and smiled.

"Citizens, do not dare run, because if you do, you'll miss out on what your so-called leader has become'

Egar stepped aside, and the corpse of the leader began to rise, twitching the whole way up. The corpse began to grow and transform into a 10ft white, translucent wolf. His original wolf size was only 7ft with white fur sprinkled with grey. The white eyes of the new wolf pulsed with each pant, saliva dripped from the 42 inch fangs that hung in its mouth. Rough growls came from the back of throat as he clutched his teeth, preparing to attack at a single order. Egar placed his hand on the belly of his newest addition to his crew.

'He's gorgeous, isn't he?' Egar said with a sick smile. Every one in the crowd began to run in all the directions, trying to escape from the fate their leader faced.

Egar smiled, and slammed his cane down. He summoned his crew from the forest, that came running to his command. He motion them to capture the rest of the werewolves. The crew ran happily after the werewolves citizens.

I wish I can say they got away, but most were captured and turned into undead werewolves who followed the commands of Egar. Some brave men stayed and tried to fight werewolf soldiers, changing into their full wolf forms and charging after them. They defended their village with all the strength and courage they could, unfortunately they were killed and turned into mindless slaves.
