For the next three classes, I have learned a lot about the history of magical people, math, and so much more. Our next period is lunch, which is where Josh and I are heading to as we speak.
"Okay, okay, now try honeysuckle." I laugh and give Josh a quick nod. I start to envision the beautiful white-yellow flower. The stems easy to pull to suck out the sweet juices, a flower right for a snack of a child who has been running with his friends throughout a long, summer day. I open my eyes to see Josh holding the bunch I made.
"Wow, Elfy, you are amazing, I have never seen so many beautiful honeysuckles before!!" Josh's eyes lit up with the excitement of a toddler who discovered a new toy. I am so happy I found someone like Josh to be my friend, his friendship is what I needed for being at this school. His happiness and excitement must be contagious because I start laughing and smiling as he continues begging me to grow plants. We talk and giggle as we walk into the cafeteria, the beautiful room is big enough for a football stadium. There are chandeliers that hang above each table, the sparkling diamonds that give light for us students to see. The windows, that are as high as the ceilings, are covered with images of battles that our ancestors have fought in.
"I know, the room is beautiful, and the food kicks ass," Josh says as we head to the line.
"Wow, I am in awe of this school," I exclaim excitedly, I have never been in such a beautiful room. We get our food and we walk to a table. There are four other boys there, including Rufus. One has no shirt, two of them are engaging in a conversation, and Rufus is eating while looking off in a distance. I avoid looking into his direction and follow Josh.

"It's okay, Elfy, most of them are friendly," Josh leans in to whisper into my ear. I am too nervous to whisper anything back. He sits his plate down with me behind him. The conversation the boys were having previously abruptly stopped. They turn to see the new face at their table - me. I look down at my food, nervously trying to think of what to say to show them that I am not just some stupid kid that just decide to join them randomly.
"Josh, what are you doing with the elf kid?" one boy asks. I glance up to see a blond-haired boy glaring back at me. I immediately glance back down, his glare is so cold that it physically hurt to stare into his eyes. In that quick glance, I realize that it is one boy I seen fighting earlier with the werewolf. His uniform rests nicely on his body, not a wrinkle to be seen in sight. His blond hair is styled in a ponytail with a few strains of hair in front of his eyes. His eyes are piercing blue with a sprinkle of gray, reminding me of the unforgiving sea.
"My, my, and here I was, thinking that you have forgot the English language, Marcus," Josh jokes, " Legolas is my new friend and he is actually pretty cool, y'know." Looking back up to see Josh, I met his eyes, and he smiles at me. I look back at Marcus, whose eyes are not on me this time, but on the werewolf next to him. They begin to engage into a conversation which is mostly held up on the side of the werewolf.
"Hi, I am Lucas", the boy without a shirt introduces himself to me, "Do your best to ignore Marcus, he doesn't talk much but when he does, it is always rude it seems." On his left pec, there is a sign of the warlock symbol, most common in teenage males to have. He still has the uniform pants on but they are covered in food and other stains. His deep Irish accent is musical yet thick, making it hard for me to understand him. He speaks so fast, I barely got what he said until I replay it in my head slower.
Lucas reaches over to pinch Marcus's cheek while muttering something under his breath. His brown hair covers his forehead and his eyebrows, his eyes are green like Josh's but his are darker and more determined. Rufus must have finally realized that I am here because he glances over to me and growls.
"Who the hell brought him here?" Rufus practically growls at me, I turn away in avoidance. I should go and find another seat, I think to myself.
