Chapter 70- Fattening The Food Whore
----------------------------------------
Lucia licked her lips. “Give it to me.”
“You really want to eat this?” Sol questioned.
“Don’t tease me, I haven’t eaten since that disgusting ring you gave me.”
“Fine,” Sol said as he brought out Lucia.
He held the dagger next to the bow.
“Well eat it then,” Sol complained.
“I’m savouring the smell,” Lucia said.
“Hurry up.”
A portion of the bow turned into shadow and it was sucked into the blade.
“Ah- oh yeah, that- ohhhh, so good,” Lucia said with an exaggerated mouthful.
“Eat the rest of it.”
“Soooo good,” Lucia moaned, ignoring him.
Bit by bit, she ate the bow entirely.
She licked her lips clean and burped.
“Good now?” Sol asked as the notifications flashed.

“You’ll have to find out,” Lucia teased/
Sol rolled his eyes and went back into the store. He bought 4 more rare items that Lucia picked out and he fed them to her again. It cost him 50 silver but he didn’t really care about the money as the intrigue overtook him.

“Oh, yeah. Forgot about that.”
“You forgot?” Sol questioned.
“I haven’t been fed in ages, I forget most of my features. And the perks relate to you.”
“I see that,” Sol said as he looked at the perk Dupe; it was practically tailored for him since he lost the other dagger. He selected it without thinking twice.

Sol thought of the perk on the dagger and it duplicated the blade instantly. He laughed in amazement. “Lucia, this is awesome.”
“I know, I’m pretty cool.”
He played around with the daggers, finding them sharper and more durable. His broken one was now out of his mind.
“I think I’m gonna take a nap- or a food coma,” Lucia said.
“Ok, I’ll put you back in the sheath.”
Sol returned home in high spirits, finding Elora, Kara and Sharp teaching his two sisters. They were progressing well, they were just like him in that sense. Always wanting to try harder and progress more.
Summer had learned Two Handed Weapon Mastery. Although June wasn't practising as much with weapons, she still had learned the Staff Mastery skill. Sol was watching June learn new runes with Sharp. She could turn a fireball into an ice spike within a second now. Summer was practising mana manipulation and enhancement techniques with Elora and Kara. They left a few hours later and the two sisters were sitting down exhausted in the lounge.
Sol came in with some stew and bread. “How are you guys finding it?” he asked.
“It’s hard,” Summer replied. “But I’m falling in love with it. I’ve already noticed an increase in focus when dancing.”
“And you?” Sol asked June.
“I’m thinking outside more, beyond what the books tell me to do.”
“Wow,” Sol stated, nodding his approval.
“How did you learn?” Summer asked him.
“Well, a noble family sponsored me to train first. Then I picked it up after and started fighting monsters with the adventurer guild. I returned to do missions for them and that’s how I met Elora and S- Mr Demy.”
“Who’s S- Mr Demy?” Summer asked.
“It’s a nickname we gave him,” Sol lied. It seemed to do the trick. He almost slipped up.
“I want to fight monsters,” Summer moaned.
Sol shook his head. “I said to only use it for self-defence.”
“But we need experience,” June carried on. “What was the first monster you killed?”
Sol thought back to the trial period. “A spikeback,” he said. “Only level 5.”
“Me and Summer could easily kill a spikeback. They’re just armored tortoises,” June pleaded.
Sol knew they could at least kill one. He hesitated to let them go, he felt again that he should say no but he thought back to what Thanatos said.
“Fine, are you both free tomorrow?”
“I can cancel my hair appointment,” Summer said hastily.
“I’m free all day,” June added.
Sol took a deep breath. “We’ll go to the Wetlands tomorrow. But- and I mean this, you will obey everything I say.”
June satup, almost spilling the stew. “Really?”
“Yes, really. I know I’m going back on what I said but you’ll probably go without me anyway.”
Summer froze for a second.
“Really, you were going to go?” Sol asked angrily.
“Kinda- yeah,” Summer replied slowly.
Sol closed his eyes. “We’ll need to get you kitted out first then sign up at the adventurer guild.”
They both seemed so happy to go and kill things. Sol was more thrilled to spend some time with his sisters. “You guys already have the weapons and a few armour pieces I ordered for you. We’ll go to Harmon's court first and kit you out properly.”
“Harmon’s court?” Summer questioned. “That place is really expensive.”
“Well I can’t have you two running around in cheap armour.”
Summer clapped her hands together gleefully. “I’m gonna go tell all my friends,” she exclaimed and ran upstairs.
“Sol,” June said. “Why are you doing this with us?”
Sol pondered on the question. “Because… Because what if I’m not there. Like during the monster horde. You could have died if it wasn’t for that Unwanted.”
She nodded. “I understand. Don’t tell Summer I told you but she’s kind of scared.”
“Are you?” Sol asked.
“You’ll be there so no, not really.”
He smiled. “I’m glad you think so highly of me.”
