An hour later, Sol met Sharp in a training room at base. It was a basic room that was enchanted with runes to prevent the walls from damage. Sol had already equipped both his Epic Ring of Reduced Summoning and Rare Spellcasters Haven Ring.
“What type of class is it?” Sharp asked.
“Summoning,” Sol replied.
“Those are extremely rare,” Sharp said,”May I take a sample of your blood?”
Sol held out his wrist and Sharp cut into his vein, he held out a glass vial and let it fill up. The small hole closed after a few minutes and Sharp held the vial up to his new glasses.
“Iridescent… This is something I do not know,” he said, “It almost reminds me of pure mana just that it’s unravelled.”
“Tell me about it. Anyway, I received a teleportation skill along with a sharing type skill with my summons.”
“Well try out the teleportation skill first- wait until I get into position,” Sharp said as he moved to the middle of the room.
“Ready?” Sol asked.
Sharp nodded and Sol activated the teleportation skill. 150 mana disappeared from his pool and he vanished in a flash of iridescent colours. He appeared instantly in front of Sharp.
“Woah,” Sol said, it was the first time he had ever used it. It was the first time he had ever used an active skill.
The man twiddled with his glasses and made a surprised face.
“It is not like other teleportation skills. It is also very beautiful, many of them are ugly and fairly slow but that was instant. The usual ones move the user through space at an accelerated rate while keeping track of the planet. Yours seems to actually teleport you, I see no disturbance between the two points of travel. Do you see anything when you move?”
“No,” Sol replied, “I was there and now I’m here.”
“Perhaps it was too fast for you to notice. Do you think the void may have had any effect on you?”
“Definitely, I’m able to travel between the dimensions every week.” Sol said.
“That’s extraordinary, is it to do with your class?” Sharp asked.
Sol nodded, “The void is not something you want to mess with, it’s endless and cold and will definitely kill you.”
Sharp pushed his glasses up while nodding, “I have been doing research on those notes. If the calculations aren’t correct it will tear your body to shreds.”
“So the biggest thing I’m worried about is summoning. The cost is…” Sol brought up his menu to check. “4245.”
Summoner Menu
Level 56 Red One-Horned Demon.
Skill- Fire Pulse Novice Level I (A)
-The horn on the demon’s head will glow brightly red before the skill is activated. Upon a five second wait time, a cone of fire will be emitted at high speeds dealing 420 base damage.
Cooldown: 3 Minutes
Stamina Cost: 260
Mana Cost: 70
To summon Level 56 Red One-Horned Demon it will cost 4,245 mana.
“By Odin, what? That cost is astronomical. The level of the summon does not make sense, if the cost is so high then the summon must be powerful. Or… Perhaps it is because you summon it from the Euclid Dimension you described? What exactly was it like?”
Sol explained the realm, the high levels of the animals that lived there seemed to catch Sharp’s attention.
“I believe that the summoning cost is high because it needs to travel through the void and it is extremely powerful. Hence the powerful enemies you described there. I am not sure which is the most heavy variable but I believe those are the main reasons. Have you tried to summon the monster yet?” Sharp asked.
Sol sighed, “I only have 641 total mana. But when I die it completely resets my mana pool. I never invested in wisdom because I never had any spells.”
“Understandable, but what doesn’t seem to make sense is why you received a summoning class. Surely a physical class would suit your fighting style better?” Sharp questioned

Sol reluctantly told Sharp about what happened with the crystal.
“Do you have the crystal?” Sharp asked.
Sol shook his head, “No, but I doubt I could even grab it.”
“Do you think you would be able to summon it? If you kill yourself when your mana runs out you should be able maintain a steady supply of mana to the spell.” Sharp remarked.
“I’ll have a go. I don’t know what will happen so please stand as far back as possible.” Sol said.
Sharp nodded and hurried into a corner. He brought out a simple wooden shield and peered out over it.
Sol attached the mechanism that Ozark had given him and took a deep breath. He selected the summon off the menu and he felt power flow into his right hand. He held it out in front of him and iridescent colours flew off and penetrated the ground. The whole room began to shake violently and the runs imprinted around glowed to keep it in shape.
The ground below began to flash with colours and the ground began to change in front of him. He felt his mana being sucked out, it was damaging his mana veins but he kept at it.
Just as his mana ticked down to zero, Sol pressed the button on his finger and the blade stabbed his heart. Not even a second later he was alive again and continued to flow mana into the spell. The spell began to cause more fluctuations in the space and the room shook more. The mana density around him skyrocketed and Sol collapsed onto his knees. He kept the spell active but the mana density caused the channeling to spit out mana coated in iridescence.
His hand exploded and the room settled down.
The spell was ruined and the summoning failed. A few seconds later someone burst into the room.
“What was that!” They screamed.
“Testing out a new skill,” Sharp said behind his wooden shield.
“Holy fuck, even Hel could hear that.” The person complained.
“We rented this room so please leave unless you want to pay the fee.” Sharp said passive aggressively.
The person slammed the door all while grumbling.
Sol stabbed his own heart and regenerated his body. He lied down in a pool of his own blood.
“That was unexpected,” Sharp said, “Do you by any chance possess the meditation skill?”
“No, I never bothered.” Sol said.
The ground where the summoning was taking place was still stained with iridescent colours. Sharp went over with his shield in front of him and sniffed the air around. He switched on his glasses and examined them.
“Incredible, you were practically opening a portal. Do your summons possess immortality like you do?” He asked.
“Yeah,” Sol said, “I have to kill them first then send them to the Euclid Dimension, then I have to kill them again when they have changed into a native of the dimension.”
“That is possibly why the cost is so high. Usually, Summons- if they are not a physical being, will never be brought back to life. That must be why the mana cost is high too, a mixture of those three variables.”
“That’s great,” Sol said irritably, “But that doesn’t help that I can’t summon it. The dying part went smoothly but when it reached around 1000 mana my fucking hand exploded.”
“That’s where I was going with the meditation skill. It helps one process mana in a dense area. The amount of mana here was way above normal levels, you probably need to resist levels of a mana storm.”
“You have to be joking?” Sol said.
“I’m afraid not, the readings I was getting were 300 mana units per metres cubed, the area is roughly triple that and you needed triple of that to reach the required mana. 900 units of mana per cubic metre is the same environment as a mana storm and those are very rare. You could possibly reach similar levels in a volcano or near a spatial distortion.”
“How far could the meditation skill get me?”
“Mine is in the intermediate tier level 4, I like to do it twice every week for exactly 3 hours. This is just a guess but I think I could handle 500 mana units per cubic metre. Your body could barely resist 300, plus your physical stats are greater than mine so at my tier you could resist 600. So you’d need to reach an expert tier in order to sustain yourself.”
“Fuck,” Sol remarked.
“By the way, is there a timer on your Summons?”
“No, until they die or I believe I can dismiss them.” Sol replied.
“So it would most probably be 2-6 months of constant work to be able to maintain the spell.”
A light bulb went off in Sol’s head, “Time in the Euclid Dimension is much faster than the Mortal Dimension. I was there for about a month and when I returned only a few hours had passed.”
“Well why didn’t you tell me that you blithering buffoon, that would also be a huge contributing factor!” Sharp angrily shouted. “Sorry.”
“It’s fine, you have to remember my brain doesn’t think like yours,” Sol said.
“The ceremony for our promotion is in 9 hours, you have until then. I believe we have a mission early the following morning so it would be useless to do it then. Here, take all my food.”
Sharp emptied out all his food for Sol and he hurriedly put it all into his pouch. He also gave Sol a mana density measuring tool.
“You can use the skill whenever you are ready.” Sharp said, “I have my glasses on and I’m ready to record.”
“Activating it now,” Sol said.
Space seemed to distort around Sol and colours invaded the mortal dimension. A portal opened up and swallowed him whole.
“Absolutely incredible,” Sharp remarked.
He had never seen such a powerful class before, the mana usage was that of a grandmaster tier in terms of spellcasting.
