Act 7 - Finish in Paradise - Part 2

[30:00 Remaining]

[Checkpoint 1st]

The fight immediately breaks out, with the first move happening in just the first second. A huge emerald-colored glass-like structure piece appears. Its shape is of a rectangular prism. It starts just below Malala, who's in the sky, and it is diagonally positioned downwards into the ground like a slanted building. It meets the ground, where Stacy James was originally standing.

Denarrow- "Musu?"

Veno- "Yes, she's a Grade-3rd."

Musu is a physical resource that has qualitative properties similar to color-tinted glass. But depending on its density, it can be as durable as either glass or steel. The manipulator of this magical elemental (magical in the meaning that it's not a product of science) shape and expand this resource to their own capabilities. Like most Paradise Fruit abilities that deal with elemental/resource telekinesis and manipulation, the users can generate their own element/resource and their desirable amount from out of nothing, in reality, using only mental coordination. Or they can use the resources provided before them. Though generating/spawning such elements, which can't be found anywhere in the world, like Musu, can only be done in close proximity to the user. In the first attack of the match, Malala performed a spear-like attack with her Musu, the size of a high-rise building.

The attack originally started just a few feet from her, but it extended and expanded rapidly to where it looked like it came from nothing. Though the great rapid expansion, density, and size can’t be replicated for every single one of Malala attacks and especially differ for any other resource manipulator. These factors tell the overall users' strength, and they vary on the user's Paradisian stamina, experience, and focus. Thus Malala's first rapid and destructive attack will only be able to be replicated a couple times based on her capability. As a Grade-3rd Musial, such a Grade not only tells of her immense capability and possibility of Musu, but her experience with it. More than ninety percent of Gladiators most fighters are never able to even surpass Grade-2nd.

Denarrow- 'She didn't waste any time for her first attack. But that much in one attack, that might be all she had.'

Ace is not referring to Malala's Paradisian Stamina but to her Paradisan Storage. Elemental/resource manipulators can bring their respective resource from nothing into reality, but they can only bring in so much at once. Water can be brought into the world by Aquia users; however, not an ocean of it but a sizable amount in correlation to a user's Grade, style of usage, and aquatic environment. Meaning if a Grade-3rd fought using much more water, they would have a larger storage/amount of water, which they can bring into the real world. Unless they are already in an environment where water is plenty, then their storage fluctuates accordingly. Since magical resources aren’t found anywhere on Earth, in natural form, the latter of Storage fluctuation does not matter much.

Stacy James, alive, begins running on top of the Musu structure, looking to reach Malala through that route. She runs at a phenomenally high speed going along the Musu. Malala, who's floating by standing on a Musu disc, gets on onto her superstructure and slides downwards on her feet. As she slides down, she manipulates the Musu below her and creates obstacles from the ground for Stacy, intending to slow the speedster down. Stacy either dodges or breaks through using her super strength.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

When Malala approaches just within twenty feet of her opponent, she back tracts by using the Musu beneath to trap her feet and then forcing herself to slide upwards in a backward motion. Then the colossal building of Musu starts to levitate still in its slanted position, she then makes the ground beneath act against Stacy like a treadmill.

Denarrow- 'I thought it was stupid that she was trying to go towards someone with both super strength and speed. The best case in those scenarios, especially for elemental users that specialize in ranged attacks, is to create as much distance as possible from the opponent, especially when they have super speed where the gap between them can fluctuate in the blink of an eye. But she's forced her opponent to be on her turf. She's able to slow her opponent down from running probably over two hundred miles per to the same as a neighborhood speed limit.'

Stacy, despite getting set back with ever random obstacles, running against a slant and the counter-moving ground, she finally closes the gap at the peak of the Musu structure. Right before Stacy is about to end Malala with a roundhouse kick, she falls. Abruptly, all of the Musu disappears at once, and the two are left high in the air in a free fall. Malala is just a few feet above Stacy, free-falling as well. She then makes the same move she did in the beginning, except sending a colossal amount of Musu structured as a long cylinder straight down with the opponent in the line of fire.

This attack is slower than the first one. Instead of rapidly expanding so fast that a blink could miss half of its extension, this attack grows out slowly, allowing Stacy to brace for the damage. Upon impact, Stacy, despite being super durable, feels the pain from strong attack. As an object equivalent to over a thousand tons of Musu is forcefully pushing against her in mid-air, she starts punching the Musu at high speed, breaking enough to make a small ditch in it. Right before touching the ground, she fills in the ditch with herself, avoiding the full weight of the Musu crashing into the ground.

Malala sits on her colossal size Musu pillar trying to catch her breath. Doing two of those types of attacks takes a lot out of her, so she sits down, fatigued. However, she knows that she didn't finish the job. As she thinks this, there is a sudden loud noise at the bottom of the Musu pillar. Stacy breaks herself out of the pillar and walks outside, and looks up. Looking down, Malala meets her opponent's eyes.

Geo- "Things have finally settled down. After a hot start, the two cool down."

Theo- "Firstly that was a beauty to watch Geo. On to the second, we know the Devil likes to go for the hot starts to purposely catch her opponent off guard and finish them quickly. But since Stone was able tank through her attacks and avoid a critical knockout, the match continues."

Geo- "What do you think is going to happen now?"

Theo- "It's only been a few minutes and it seems they have wasted a lot of energy on each other so far. So for the rest of this round of the match, I expect a slug match until the second round begins."

The two of them death stare at each other as they lock eyes. Despite being so high up, Stacy can tell Malala is looking down at her. In reaction, Stacy smiles and then bends her knees getting ready to jump. Malala stands up, and the huge pillar disappears simultaneously, leaving her to only stand on a Musu disc. She raises her hand, and more than a dozen Musu objects shaped as walls no longer than-by-ten ten foot squared appear floating above her. They then stand in a stalemate waiting for each other to make the first move.

It's not until Stacy finally jumps is when Malala makes her move dissipating the Musu beneath, causing her to free-fall. The Woman Devil nose dives with her Musu walls following right behind her, nearing the forthcoming Stone Stace. The two draw closer, readying to clash for what would be a lasting fight.
