Avi B. Ace looks left to right and sees nobody in sight. She looks forward and hops the wall into the property of an apartment complex. She quickly goes through the play yard, crosses the yard, and into the apartment building unseen and unheard. She sneaks her way up the building's eighth floor while being able to avoid contact with anyone else. She sneaks so silently that her footsteps can't even be heard. Avi then opens the door to her apartment. An Alazkan dog weighing just over two hundred and fifty pounds and eight feet long approaches her and begins hitting the floor with his palm in a rhythmic sequence. right in front of her. Avi holds out her left palm and begins to hit it with her right fist in different rhythmic ways responding to her beloved pet.
Dog- ^Police are outside. Should I go?^
Avi nods yes. She goes around the room collecting papers, a hard drive, and a scabbard and puts it all in a backpack. Her apartment is small, without electricity, and completely empty, with nothing but hardwood floors, thin walls, and a ceiling with a disabled fan attached to it. The sole piece of furniture is an office drawer. She zips up the big backpack and hooks it around her dog's back.
Avi- ^Find him.^
After tapping the floor, she shows a picture of a Sbaniard colonial-looking apartment building in Midcity and then points south, the direction where the building can be found. The dog bites into the picture, slobbering on it during the process, and walks out of the apartment. Avi readjusts her mask to properly cover half her face. The mask matches with the rest of her outfit, including a black sweater and baggy gray sweatpants. She sits on the floor and sits in a meditating position. Her silver-colored eyes shut close momentarily; subsequently, they reopen without color, only the shade of utter darkness.
Both of her eyes turn completely black, revealing her Grade-2nd of Sin. Her hearing improves greatly as she listens to everything that's happening throughout the apartment complex. She feels the vibrations of soft steps going up the stairs where her dog is currently going down. After further investigative hearing, the footsteps were just of the neighbors. She expands her hearing outside the building, hearing many heavy vehicles stopping in front of the building at once. Drones in pairs are deployed, hovering over the area like hawks. She then feels the vibrations of heavy and hard footsteps going into the complex and then coming up the stairs in an aggressive stampede.
A minute later, there is a knock on her door that makes her overreaching senses contract back to her and concentrates on the room alone. A second knock and a police warning is said. Avi doesn't do anything but sit on the floor. The third knock breaks the door down and a line of policemen wearing black and navy blue military gear comes barging in. Simultaneously, the sound of everything cuts to an end entirely. Flashbangs go off, temporarily blinding her. She quickly adapts to her sightless and soundless environment and focuses her senses on touch. Her increase in sensual sensitivity allows her to feel vibrations in the structures and the air around her, knowing the exact movements of the intruders. It also allows her to distinguish each individual opponent. This helps tremendously because together, they look bigger and more compact than they actually are, this gives her the ability to find space and land heavy coordinated hits one at a time.
Completely deaf and blind, Avi quickly stands up, runs towards and punches the policeman that led the break-in. The punch is aimed at the face breaking through their helmet's glass visor, knocking them unconscious. The police try to charge through and crowd the room all at once, attempting to overwhelm her but to counter them, she begins to grab onto them and throw them around like a baby with their toys. Her wild, fast, lengthy kicks and punches break through their armor. He picks up grown men and women by the leg and throws them with one hand into the walls and ceiling. Her skinny gymnastic-like frame physically dominates in an unbelievable way.
After the police figure out they can't simply tackle and charge, they begin to mix some martial arts into their tactics. They can't use any firearms because her movements are too fast, and she's fighting them too close and in between them. Unfortunately for them, her martial dominance overpowers them. All the armor they're wearing only serves them safety against their own death. If they didn't have it, most of the officers she put her hands on more than likely wouldn't have survived her wrath.
She continues without any sound, but her ability to see comes back to normal, which makes it worse for her opponents as she treats them as if they are stuffed animals, knocking and throwing them around one by one. After a full minute of relentless fighting, where she beat adults in swelling police armor to near death and exhaustion, she can be seen sweating and breathing a little hard. However, such exhaustion is equal to how a track star experiences after doing an adequate warm-up session.
One of the few policemen left successfully hugs her, but she doesn't budge. The enforcer tries to move her, but she plants her feet firmly and doesn't move an inch. Avi then notices more police begin to enter the room with guns ready. She lifts her left foot and stomps through the floor, causing her and a few other policemen and women to fall to the floor below. The enforcer that's hugging her falls with her and barely holds on. Avi, with the side of her hand, chops the back of their spine, temporarily paralyzing them and forcing them to uncontrollably let go of her.
Avi looks around, seeing six other conscious policemen in the room with no civilians present. With the apartment completely empty of furniture, identical to her apartment, it makes room for Avi to exercise her creativity with the few policemen around. She brutally injures the enforcers into unconsciousness using all types of martial arts. Her quickness and brute strength could not be matched. Bones, muscles, and organs are either broken or in serious condition. After overwhelmingly winning, the sound comes back on. She leaves the room entering the empty hallway.
Outside the apartment, nobody was aware of what had happened for two minutes. The police outside are in the dark, not knowing what has been happening. They tried to radio their men multiple times, but there wasn't any sound. Inside the building, residents were in sudden confusion on why they temporarily went deaf.
Avi feels the vibration of even more policemen moving around the building. She takes off her black sweater and black pants, revealing a gray tank top and thin gray short shorts. She stands still and slowly begins to age. Her beautiful pale skin begins to crinkle and sag. Her short black hair grays towards white and grows at the same time. She shrinks; thus, her Olympic frame is no more, and her seemingly perfect muscular physique fades away. Her height decreases from being six feet to just below five feet. Then in an instant, her vigilante outfit is swapped with casual streetwear that fits. Her face mask is also replaced with it now being a scarf. Her changing of appearance finishes just before more police can make it to the same floor as her. As the police hurry past her seeing her as nothing but an old lady, one of them comes up to her with questions. All she does is point down the hall. The police officer could only let the old woman go about her day and go back to pursuing the vigilante.

Avi's old age look gets her past the policemen. While she leaves the apartment complex, her eyes and ears are welcomed by loud police sirens, yelling, helicopters, and flying drones. She even sees an AHA truck arriving. Without any fear or worry, she plays her role as an old bystander and walks out of the area slowly, escaping suspicion and the authorities altogether.

William- "I wanted to keep this short and quick, so I will. Last night, at two in the morning, cause ya know, congress. Especially Midcity. Anyways, congress activated Code-1LD. Some of ya aren't old enough to have properly experienced, or just ain't alive at the time, the effects of the codes. So I'll briefly explain the change. Inspection, scrutiny, and coffee are three words I'd like to describe it as. Behind all the government funding, the new toys, and extra shifts, y’all will be watched and constantly fucked over by the public. Not just the Midcity public, but the McPD will be at the center of scrutiny of the global community at large."
Not a chirp of sound can be heard. Every individual of the million-plus people watching him watched in silence as he spoke.
William- "But here's the good part, this is not forty years ago. We're here today on a different job. Our job isn't to question the public, which makes it somewhat easier. Our job is to find and 'neutralize' the man, the myth, the anti-Khrist himself, Hassen, or what most people know him as, Hate. That makes it somewhat harder. For almost a century, this terrorist has roamed the planet like it's his own house. He's uncatchable and exceedingly dangerous. Considered to be the deadliest man to have ever existed. He might not even be a man or woman, he might be a machine, and we don't even know it. It sounds like I'm going on a tangent, but I'm expressing the concern and threat he brings to this city. Almost a week ago, we lost ófficerTobey McQuire, his head splattered on the forty-fifth street pavement. And we lost sergeant Emanuel Hanes who had a heart attack just from holding a gun at the guy. Other officers on the scene shitted themselves. I'm not putting the blame on anybody, but from here on out, casualties and negligence of duty of any kind will not be accepted. You will not be in a group less than four on all shifts. All possible leads will be reported into the system. None of ya play hero or they finna put ya on a white tee. Heed my advice, cause they're your orders ya heed.
[----]
A blonde man with a few chin and upper-lip hairs, dark blue eyes, a scar on his right cheek, and a jawline that only the best of architects could recreate, wakes up from a slumber. The last thing he could remember was being on the Midcity railcar train heading towards home from work, hoping to see his wife and daughter. Then a man said his real name, 'Spade Yutov'. Nobody except for his wife and the people back home in Rosiya knows of his name.
Then the man with the white gas mask appeared, Hassen, followed him underground. There he thought he died but instead awakes in a bed alone. His head feels heavy, and it takes time for him to fully open his eyes and look up to see the same man who kidnapped him. Hate sits in a chair directly facing him. The masked man has nothing but baggy military clothing covering him thoroughly.
Spade sits quietly while his heart beats loudly on the inside. During the face-off, Hate doesn't move whatsoever. Without moving his head, he rotates his eyes, looking around the all-white four-sided bedroom with no windows. The light above brightens the rooms giving a heavenly aura, yet the devil is still in front of him. The stringy white blanket covers his naked body, and the hospital-looking bed gives an indication that something had...
Halls- "Good morning Stone. It's been quite awhile since you've been awake."
Halls entered through the door and sat in a chair right next to Spade's bed. Spade instantly recognizes Halls from the lightrail.
Spade- "You. Who are….?"
Halls- "No no no. Not who are you, but how are you?"
He strokes his black/gray streaky beard after striking Spade with sudden confusion.
Spade- "How… Are you…?"
Halls- "I'm doing fine. Now how about you?"
Spade- "...Fine."
Halls- "Good. Nice to hear. I expected you to awake a few days ago, a little worried that you weren't going to wake up but nonetheless you did. So I ask you now Stone, do you speak Inglish fluently."
Spade nods a yes.
Halls- "Excellent, no offense to mother Rosiya but a translator would be inconvenient. My name is Doctor John Halls, I am a doctor, sometimes a professor, and sometimes a senator on the Midcity Council."
His voice is heavy with a sense of power and authority coming from it, but at the same time, it's calm and polite.
Halls- "Don't worry about my associate over there, he isn't going to kill you. Now about you, I am pretty sure you have questions so I'll summarize to the best of my abilities. You are my success out of nine tests. The first eight died and I almost lost hope until you were found. See, I needed someone with the Fulmena Fruit power, the ability to control electricity. A lot of people can control electricity but I needed one with a bit of experience, and there's not a lot of those that can just be taken off the streets. Now here is the second part of what I am going to tell you, I performed surgery on your brain. And on your kidney, I found a small mass beneath your kidney and it was in its very early stage, easy to remove."
Spade puts his hand on the middle of his torso in response to hearing about his kidney.
Halls- "But what I did with your brain is absolutely marvelous."
His voice turns creepy and excited while still keeping its original tone, like a mad but calm scientist.
Halls- "I was able to modify your brain and put a computer in it, a whole computer, Yutov!"
A see-through digital screen pops up in Spade's eyes. The screen appears like techy eyeglass lenses.
Halls- "Are you seeing what I am seeing right now. I am wearing contacts and you are supposed to be seeing a computer-like screen."
Spade doesn't answer and instead looks around and uses his hands to try and confirm the physical reality of the screen. Nothing happens, but Halls takes Spade's actions as a sign of positive results. He faces Hate with a smile on his face. Hate sits in the exact same spot and hasn't moved or budged a single time during the whole scene. The red eye lenses on his mask are so tinted that no expression can be leaked, leaving only the people around him to try and guess his reaction or thinking, if he has either of the capabilities.
Spade- "My family…"
Halls- "Ah yes, I'll tell you about them in a bit. But for now let me enjoy my work, which is you Spade Stone."
