My ancestor was the Progenitor of the Mist clan. His name is Joseph the story goes he was the most brutal and relentless vampire among the Progenitor's Conquering a nation with an army of slaves at his command and enslaving countless Women to quench his bloodlust.

The whole world feared him. One day though he vanished and no one knows where he went. The truth, however, is entirely different I know this because about two hundred years I found a cave locked by a strange mechanism.

I found this cave while searching for our past. I have always been a bit smarter than most of my race. I studied various fields Alchemy, Ancient civilizations, War, Mathematics etc.

Most of my kind were smart don't get me wrong. But most of my species got lost in their bloodlust and desire to dominate. Their superiority complex was also downright annoying.

I found this cave during one of my expeditions. It was recorded in some of our ancient books.

Most of these books were mostly worn out throughout the age and barely readable.

But I pieced them tother and found this cave and inside this cave was a stone door it had some puzzle lock on it.

I had read about these kinds of locks before it took some time and I was able to figure it out and unlock it.

There was a Book on a pedestal in the middle of the room with a vial of blood next to it.

I opened the book this book looked like it was in perfect condition and the title was called Truth.

It had depicted our ancestor being created From a Goddess named Agatha. Who is Agatha? I questioned.

We were told Carly created the Vampire race.

The real story, however, goes like this.

Agatha was a Goddess, and she decided to make creatures from her likeness.

She started with the five progenitors created four of which were known to be ruthless and creating countless Vampire's and almost enslaving an entire Continent and turning countless races into Vampires.

One, however, Joseph wanted coexistence and Agatha agreed with him pleading to the other four to stop.

Instead, though they betrayed Agatha and the four pledged their services to Carly, and she sealed Agatha away in a sealed off dimension.

Joseph was infuriated he needed a force to stop them with so he gathered various races and gave them the option to become his clan members by turning to prevent the others rule.

Half of them agreed while the other half didn't want to become vampire's but allied with him none the less.

The battle had lasted for centuries the death count was immeasurable.

They were slowly whittling away their enemies and finally the time had come to face the progenitor's they knew they couldn't kill them but had to do something to stop them, so they sealed them away in a far off region.

The humans, however, betrayed Joseph framed him for countless crimes and sealed him away in an undisclosed space and spread the rumor that he went into solitude far way.

Carly saw the opportunity and converted his clan to her. So now she had all the remaining vampire's under or so she thought.

One follower knew the truth he saw the whole thing, and before Joesph was sealed, he gave him a vial of his blood he knew his fate.

He also foretold that one day Carly would find a way to release the other four Progenitors.

He had hoped one of his kind would find this information and teach the Vampire's peace, but he had a backup plan if they failed to listen to reason.

Which is what the book and the Vial of blood were for it had instructions in the back for a method to give a vampire the potential to get the Advanced class only he had achieved. This Class, however, involved a Dangerous Trial as a condition to get it.

Trisha had tried over the years to convince her people even trying to tell them the truth, but none of them believed they thought she was crazy and ignored her words and after two hundred years nothing changed.

They had recently allied themselves with the demons who were hellbent on erasing sentient life that and the destruction of a village of Beastkin that were trying to protect themselves from them.

She had seen enough of seeing people's guts being splattered all over, People being chained up and mutilated, cutting off heads and displaying them all over to taunt them, and now they were starting a war.

She has started slipping them minute amounts of holy water in the hoping that would weaken hem and allying herself with the peaceful demon faction.

There she was told about Ryu and his circumstances and decided that she would have him undergo the Trial.

So she gave the book and potion to Lyte and began preparing for their arrival.

Hopefully with the new fledgling vampire's her clan has she could start over and realize Joseph's Dream of coexistence this gave her the drive she needed.

Hopefully, Ryu would pass the Trial. Lyte spoke very highly of Ryu and his almost overly rational mind and helped stop the war that was about to shake the world.

She also knew of the humans potential to betray them again this was also a concern of her and was wary enough not to make the same mistake as Joseph.
