Re-Birth

I slept for what felt like weeks, but something like an instinct told me to escape. A pulse shuddered through my body. I stretched my arms and legs trying to force myself out of the comfortable cage I was in. My body felt odd, it didn't feel exactly human it felt unnatural. With one final push the container I was held in cracked like the sound of a chicken egg. The container I was in shattered like hard glass but it was actually an egg of some sort.

I stumbled trying to walk. I wasn't normal my hands look like paws covered with silver like scales and razor sharp claws. I paced myself towards a tunnel that had light resonating from it, passing through the path I stumbled off a ledge rolling down a small hill. Landing face first onto the ground I should have been dead, to be honest, but it barely hurt.

Multiple howls came from behind some bushes causing them to rustle. Massive wolves come dashing out surrounding my helpless infant body. "Well so much as living a long life..." My trembling body curled itself into a defensive position by instinct even though it wouldn't save me from my demise. Closing my eyes ready for their attack, a loud crash hit the ground in front of me.

"Already getting yourself into trouble... Just like your father..." Quickly opening my eyes a massive being stood in front of me. A long slender back with perfect silver scales and fiery blue eyes, truly an elegant creature. "A-A dragon?!" My eyes wide open in total awl the thought of a gigantic dragon the size of a 5 story building was standing in front of me kept running through my head. Well, I'm fucked now ain't I.

The massive dragon shifting his vision to stare at each wolve directly in the eyes, it was enough to make them yelp in fear causing them to run away. My eyes began to become heavy I began growing tired, I slowly closed my eyes drifting to sleep as the large dragon took grasp of my small helpless body. I know I shouldn't be thinking of sleep after all that just happened but I couldn't help it.
